Hotel Ocean in Sarande

I booked and went there in July. The hotel was not operational. I called the number of the hotel, as given in Google +355 69 538 8815, and they told me that the number and the arrangement was for Hotel Bora Bora, much more inside the town. Thus, no sea view ...

The food is the same all days.only one person in the hotel knows English and is the receptionist. The freezer in room doesn’t work and they didn’t repair it.the rooms are old and unfinished.

The hotel it self is clean and has an easy access to the sea. The reception is very friendly and polite. Generally my stay was ok until my departure which ruined my experience. When I arrived I have asked for a taxi for the departure date so I can get my boat over to Corfu. The manager said it will take me there and don't worry well He didn't bother even to come to speak to me. I basically lost just then I managed to get a lift to the port. Do not trust their guarantees. They worth nothing. When I arrived my room was not paid yet which I was surprised as it should have. I told the reception to douse check if hasn't to let me know so I will bring my card. Within seconds my card was charged without my authorisation when I asked them at first to let me know! This hotel is far from the centre so if you want to explore it's not best. If you want to relax is okey.
Unfortunately I know they wont care what I wrote. It's my second time in Albania but this time it was quite a disappointing. They are 50 years behind any country you could think of and they do not have intentions to change. They don't really have much care for the clients and they best interest. Sad as I always believed this country has a potential but unfortunately if their own kind doesnt want to make an effort and change NOTHING WILL CHANGE THERE!!
