Hotel Summer Dream in Sarande

Not worthy at all for the price, breakfast was same everyday and not enough for grown ups (some cheese, half a sausage 1 egg, non fresh slices of tomatos and cucumber) dinner was poor and you couldn’t choose anything beside what they prepare (we had pasta and the other nights we ate outside).
Breakfast was served from 8-9 and we had to wait at the table until they served for all. Drinks have terrible taste, for others you had to pay extra.
Room was not cleaned daily, towels not changed, no hairdryer, AC was ok. (Refrigerator was really noisy and for us to sleep we had to shut it down.)

Beach is not 10-15 minutes from the hotel. The ones that are near are with big stones.

The only good thing was we checked in a few hours early because there were free rooms 😊

The property is was horrible, the lift did not work. I was supposed to get a sea view room but didn’t. There wasn’t a soap for washing. There wasn’t a bin the room. There was a kitchen with no pots plates or cutlery’s. Ants on the bed on the floor. The owner want even around, her son was dealing with any issues. Didn’t clean the rooms even though I stayed for 3 nights. We could around the areas shops and other things. But I would never stay at Summer dream again.

I wish I had good things to say about this hotel but I don't. The elevators didn't work, coffee makers didn't work, continental breakfast wasn't good. The staff was not very helpful.

From all of my experiences this one was the WORST, I’ve ever had.
1. Service TERRIBLE
2. Not clean towels, rooms
3. SUPER disrespectful for tourists
4. Not correct in CHECK IN’s and CHECK OUT’s
5. THEY TOUCHED MY THINGS ( private ) WITHOUT ASKING.
6. They throw my bags out of my room!
The worst experience really.
7. We was stuck in levator and after 10 mins they came to open the door.

We are not satisfied with the service, the staff is rude and depressed. The room we got was not the same one we reserved on booking. It took them three days, with deliberation and determination, to transfer us to another room that was suitable. The only good thing is that the women did their job nicely and our room was always tidy and clean. By the way, we came at the end of September, which is the end of the season, and we experienced such disrespect, as if we should have come earlier than everyone else, and not "work just for us". They practically closed the common terrace (removed the lights), just because there were not enough people in the hotel. Not to mention how breakfast is the same every day...

The worst experience I have ever had. What they did was unheard before.

The rooms are not what they have in the pictures. They are small, outdated, broken and smelly. The mattress is such cheap material and hurts your body every-time you sit or lay down. You will not get a comfortable sleep.

I had to fix my own room every morning, bc the housekeeper would not. I had to ask everyday at the front desk for towels and toilet paper, and to have my bathroom cleaned on a daily basis, and whenever the housekeeper would show up, she complained that she had a bus to catch and did not have time to clean our room. Also the bathrooms have a weird odor smell at all time, and even keeping the door closed you can’t escape it.

The food was the same everyday, nothing impressive. Please don’t drink the morning juices as they taste like chemicals.

Lastly which threw me off completely, we were a total of 7 people with two separate rooms for 4 nights. On the third night they kicked us out of the room and sent us to stay with our other friends although there was no space. We spent the whole day at the beach only to come back to all of our stuff being moved out of the room and thrown on the ground waiting for us. Our room was sold already, and we were not notified of such change, nor we had checked out because we still had another night to stay.
They claimed that someone told them that we were all sleeping together in one room, so without permission and no explanation they simply sold out room, moved all of our personal belongings and threw them out.
Very disappointing experience, and scary at the same time. No refund was given, and the owner had a rude attitude towards us when asked why all of our things were moved.
Please please please do not stay in this hotel. You will be disappointed!!!!
The only reason they got one start is because Google won’t allow zero stars.

The beach is very far, no where close to what they make it seem on the page.
Never in my life have I been thrown out of a hotel room without being at least notified of such change, although they had every way to communicate with us.
Save your money and go somewhere else.

This hotel is a joke! The owners have nothing to do with hospitality. We arrived with a group of 50 people. On the first day, 15 people did not get soup. The meat was cold and served without garnish. We had to fill the water ourselves from the balloon. They don't know the tablecloth, they put a PVC mat under the plates. We ran out of butter at the first breakfast, and haven't had any since. The coffee is just brown water, you have to wait half an hour for that too, they didn't give you a cup, you had to ask for sugar, but even then they just pushed it out of a box, like for dogs. The behavior of the owner is outrageous! Grumpy and unfriendly to guests, he barely speaks English and just shakes his head. We were in the same place with the group last year, so we have a basis for comparison regarding the quality of the service. For the same price, Hotel Alpha provided excellent service and attended to the guests' every wish. Summer Dream, on the other hand, is a nightmare.

A nightmare.

Cheap but you get what you paid for. I was thankful I hadn't booked my entire stay here.

The positive: staff is very nice and there's a nice view from the terrace where yoy have breakfast and/or if you get a room with a view.

The negatives:
- let's start off with what had shocked me most. The first room I got put into looked like it wasn't entirely complete...there was no toilet seats and there was hair on the bed.

Luckily I got moved to a much better room the next day for the second night. It was much bigger and had a sofa, proper working a/c and a nice balcony.

But again on the negatives:

Wi-Fi didn't work for my stay. I had to come down to the lobby and sit there at 9 am to be able to connect to the hotel next door's Wi-Fi (Hotel Oskar). The breakfast was pretty bad. There wasn't much to choose from. Guests had eggs and sausage which looked quite oily and I had a croissant. On the first day, the croissant tasted stale. The second day, it tasted like the store bought packed croissants you can find at any supermarket. If I was lucky I'd get some watermelon if it wasn't finished by the time I came down for breakfast.

Lastly - location. Placement of the hotel was random. It's only good for the view but otherwise not really convenient. You need to get down 2 sets of stairs to be able to go to the main road and it's not very convenient when you have luggage. Also the taxi wasn't able to find the hotel as Google brought us somewhere else and we had to figure out that it was further up and that it'd be easier to reach if you take the main road which google didn't bring us to.

Never again! Sadly enough, the hostel I went to after checking out from here was 10x better than here and it was 3/4 of the price I had paid. Oh did I mention there were ants in the washroom floor and water would spill all over when you take the shower as there's no curtains or anything, just a small square.
