Solid experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and we'll maintained. The food was varied enough. I especially enjoyed the pool and the basketball court. The conference/meeting spaces were pretty good also. The area is surrounded by pretty nature. Located in the forest, cottage was surrounded by amazing nature. Night lights playing in the white snow were the most beautiful phenomena I have ever seen. Since there were no reviews for 2023 we decided to try our luck, but desperate. Only the view and outside of hotel was good. Both openair swim pool and closed one were clean. A most see place! You don't have to book a room to go into the cafe, pool or use other stuff. The cafe is a very good place to grab a cup of tea. Winter is the best season to check this place out. This hotel is just yard away from the slopes and after a long day skiing all you want is to get to return to the room and rest. The rooms are basic, clean and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help and assist. We checked other hotel around and Alva cannot be faulted.

The hotel is located close to the cable car - about 15 minutes on foot. Not suitable for those who come to ski - there is no place to dry clothes or leave equipment. What a lovely host we have. The cabin is owned by an armenian family who is trying their best to accommodate your needs and give you the maximum comfort of your stay. Rooms are very spaceous and clean. They have prepared our fantastic breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price, evern more than what you pay for!
