Hotel Multi Grand Resort Tsaghkadzor in Tsaghkadzor

We stayed at this hotel expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately the only thing that matched that rating was the room size.

The room lacked basic amenities normally standard in a 5-star hotel: there was no iron, no shower cap, no shoe-cleaning kit, and other small essentials were missing.

Room service was extremely poor. We asked for fresh bath towels four times, and they were finally delivered only at 5 PM.

A much more serious issue occurred when brown water started coming out of the bathroom tap and shower. We immediately informed the reception, but no action was taken. The brown water continued flowing for 5–6 hours, and when we complained again, we were simply told to wash with bottled water instead. This response was very unprofessional.

We were also very disappointed with the restaurant service on International Women’s Day. We had reserved a table for 2 people eight days in advance, yet when we arrived we were asked to sit next to the restroom and were kept waiting for about 30 minutes. Eventually we were seated at a small table in a far corner. The service was slow and unprofessional, and there was no complimentary gesture for the occasion.

Breakfast was another major disappointment. We paid for two days of breakfast. The buffet yesterday was the poorest breakfast selection we have ever seen in a supposed 5-star hotel. Today we were told there was no buffet at all and were served what appeared to be leftovers from the previous day.

Overall, the level of service and organization was extremely poor. Based on our experience, this property does not meet 5-star standards and would struggle to qualify even as a 3-star hotel.
