Hotel Aghveran in Arzakyand

Nice hotel, good service and good food. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Quiet place, beautiful scenery, well maintained green spaces with walking paths, benches, a playground for kids and a swimming pool.
However, I think the hotel needs to be renovated.

The hotel is perfect and I think it's worth the cost. We booked the 2-level family suite, it was very spacious and had everything needed. They also brought us a bottle lf sparkling wine and fruit platter for free. I was scared of cold (it's -14 at night), but aircon heated the room and kept it warm the whole time.

The best part of the hotel for a winter season trip is the indoor swimming pool. The water is hot, you just don't want to get out of it:)

Breakfast and dinner were very nice. Nothing fancy, but there was a decent variety, and the staff was making sure everything is refilled.

We also used some extra services, sauna and billard. They didn't charge us for billard, which was a pleasant courtesy:) sauna was lovely, it's small, there's just a dry finish sauna and a cool bath, but it's nice to have a private experience. They also allow pouring water on the hot stones (something rarely allowed in European saunas, so a pleasant surprise for me).

I also fell in love with the hotel pup, such a cuddly playful baby ❤️

The view from the restaurant and hotel rooms are just something else! There were also horses grazing on the opposite slope, as an equestrian i was delighted to see them.

There were some flaws, they didn't bother me at all, but to make my review less biased i'll mention them too. Room design is somewhat outdated, with red carpets and golden curtains, there was some dark spots from humidity in the bathroom, there is drain of the floor but it's not the lowest point, so when water leaks from the shower, it's challenging to keep the floor dry. I also didn't find how to close the drain in the bathtub (but I didn't plan to take a bath anyway). Only one billard key had a sponge tip, others were plastic, which made it harder to play. I'm trying to be a Karen now:) none of these small issues mattered, and I'm sure if I brought them up, staff would do their best to solve it, they were just amazing, very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Everything was fine at the hotel . The food was delicious, varied, the room cleaning was perfect, the only problem was that the service was very slow, I waited almost 3 hours until they arrived to repair the door lock. The view from the balcony was beautiful, there was also a beautiful garden where you could walk, read a book, and for your children there was an outdoor playground with a variety of carousels.

A place where you can really relax

Excellent service, excellent cuisine, nature is simply excellent. By all criteria 5 plus.

Rooms are comfortable, food is good. The balconies offer a magnificent view of the mountains covered with forests. But at night you can be woken up by barking dogs that are on the property?

Everything is great. The only exception: someone is doing a party here. And music's noise is incredible, like Doom's day.

Solid experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and we'll maintained. The food was varied enough. I especially enjoyed the pool and the basketball court. The conference/meeting spaces were pretty good also. The area is surrounded by pretty nature. My only recommendations are to put a shower curtain in all the rooms and to have the yogurt with fruit out for all meals. Also, repair the benches outside.
