Hotel alva is few minutes walk to the ropeway, breakfast is good and room is very clean. This hotel is just yard away from the slopes and after a long day skiing all you want is to get to return to the room and rest. The rooms are basic, clean and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help and assist. We checked other hotel around and Alva cannot be faulted.

Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Due to some small issue they upgraded my cottage without any additional charges. Overall it was nice stay. It was little strange that breakfast option was not available in my selection at the time of booking But it wasn’t great deal since we aren’t early risers.

A most see place! You don't have to book a room to go into the cafe, pool or use other stuff. The cafe is a very good place to grab a cup of tea. Winter is the best season to check this place out. It also has snowmobiles in winter. The hotel rooms are very clean and the service is great. It also has a great view at outside if the hotel since the hotel is on top of the hill.

The place is simple, no frills. The food is delicious, there is a transfer from the morning to the ski lift (sometimes).

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was a hassle free experience. Staff are very accommodating. Hamlet the owner is kind enough to give us a discount in order for us to stay in 1 room for the whole stay instead of transferring to their other room. My wife and I stayed here in June and it was an amazing experience. The premises is full of trees and is tranquil. The staff is pleasant and hospitable. The rooms are clean and well furnished. And the food was delectable! Tsaghkatun is a magical and quaint place to spend your vacation. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the winter.

The hotel is located close to the cable car - about 15 minutes on foot. Not suitable for those who come to ski - there is no place to dry clothes or leave equipment. Rather, it is for families who come to relax for the weekend. They smoke everywhere, it is impossible to hide from the smoke even in your room.
