VL Guest house in Alaverdi

Very peaceful location with a fantastic host, who couldn’t do enough to help us, very hospitable. We stayed in the larger cabin and it was cosy.

First of all, don’t use google maps for directions. But if you do, you search for iris bed and breakfast and then take that turn off , rocky road all the way to the end and you’ll find VL guesthouse ran by Oren. It’s the people that make the place! Very international vibe of interesting off-the-beaten-path people. Much love to Arman and robin, a lovely couple that came for a honeymoon and is now on their third month at the guesthouse. We stayed with our 1 year 4 month old son. Mr Oren is a wonderful host. He really cares about what each person needs and he is man of good character God bless! Thanks for everything!

Sometimes in the weekends people rent the place for parties. Otherwise the nature is serene and quiet and there is a river nearby.

The guesthouse is located in a mountainous, forested, uninhabited area with no neighboring houses. The house is located in the open, surrounded by beautiful wildlife, on the banks of a shallow mountain river!
The guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden with a variety of fruitful trees and more!
The town is just 2 kilometers away along a dirt road, easily accessible in a regular sedan!
The first grocery store is 3-4 kilometers away!
Two UNESCO World Heritage Sites are within walking distance!
The location is perfect for lovers of passive, semi-active, and extreme recreation!
During their stay, guests may encounter harmless wildlife, such as hedgehogs, tortoises, dormice, hares, and squirrels.
Please be aware that other animals may also inhabit the wild, although they never come near the immediate area of ​​the guesthouse! However, the activity of various wild animals is quite noticeable!
In the evenings and at night, the howling of jackals can be heard.
A cunning fox may also catch the eye of guests!
