Toon Armeni Guest House in Dilijan

We had a wonderful stay at Toon Armeni Guesthouse. The location is peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful nature of Dilijan, which makes it a perfect place to relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very cozy. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was also delicious with fresh homemade dishes that gave us a real taste of Armenian hospitality. A perfect place for anyone who wants to experience the warmth and charm of Dilijan. Highly recommended!

You know you are in a place that is a little bit different when the reception has a huge bolder making up one part of the reception desk! We had a very comfortable two night stay is a very arty, well conceived room. Pleasure on the eye! I would give it 4.5 stars, but only because they did not provide coffee in the room for an early morning pick up. Food at the restaurant was good to very good and very plentiful. The staff, both restaurant and reception, were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Modern and comfortable room in beautiful surroundings. Conveniently located just off Dilijan's main street with supermarkets, banks and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was decent and plenty of variety. Would happily stay here again next time we're in Dilijan.

This is such a fantastic place, the guest house is full of lovely little touches that provide a feel of Armenia. There were lots of carpet covered couches outside on the verandah, really pretty wooden furniture and carpets in the room and a marvellous stone sink in the bathroom. The room was so comfortable and had everything that you could possibly need, including a very spacious bathroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful, clearly keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised tour and the weather wasn't very good but the room was very warm despite the snow outside! If we had had more time I would have explored Dilijan which looked very interesting. We had a marvellous lunch in the restaurant, one of the best meals we had in Armenia, and the breakfast was excellent too. If you are travelling to Armenia I would recommend Dilijan and the Toon Armeni, I do understand, however, that it doesn't have a lot of rooms and is very popular so perhaps book early.

Toon Armeni feels like stepping into a beautifully preserved village with its wooden signs, warm floors, and a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. We stayed in Room 10, which had an incredible view—high up with stunning mountains visible from the window. The hospitality was wonderful, and the restaurant even treated us to free juice, making us feel truly welcome. The location is perfect, with breathtaking drives and cozy cafés nearby. But the highlight? The food! Their sweet gata and beetroot salad with ricola and cheese are absolute must-tries. We loved every moment and would definitely return!

As I have already said about Toon Armeni restaurant: We spent New Year at Toon Armeni in Dilijan, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the caring and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The food was simply outstanding – delicious, fresh, and perfectly suited to the festive season. Every meal felt like a celebration on its own! The warm and welcoming atmosphere of Toon Armeni was the perfect backdrop for ringing in the New Year. We truly felt like part of a big family, and the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was remarkable. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, relax, and enjoy amazing hospitality, Toon Armeni in Dilijan is the place to be. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return!

This is such a beautiful property! The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious (as is all the food at the restaurant) and it is central enough that you can walk to restaurants and shops if you don't have a car. When my partner and I stayed, I had a deadline and needed to write a lot — the porch outside our room and the restaurant were both really comfortable, beautiful, and inspiring places to do that!

We decided to go for the deluxe room and I cannot recommend it enough. It truly was luxurious including a lovely bathtub and separate rainfall shower head. I would give it 5 stars for the bathroom alone. The bed was enormous and so comfortable. Continental breakfast was very nice, although it did not start until 9 so if you are hoping to take an early hike, plan ahead for something else. The staff were all very helpful and gracious. I wish we had more time here. I would definitely return.

Wonderful territory, practically a park, many places to relax - terraces, hammocks, tables, although located on the main street, it is quite high, clean mountain air, it’s amazing to breathe! I didn’t want to leave anywhere) The rooms on the 1st floor are more interesting than those on the 2nd, but this is reflected in the prices. Clean, tidy, has everything you need: air conditioning, hair dryer, disposable robe and slippers. Restaurant, you can not only have breakfast, but lunch and dinner. As I understand, people come to the restaurant specially, and locals also come in, so it’s better to book a table a little in advance. Has its own parking. The staff is friendly and attentive. I recommend to everyone!

A hidden gem in Dilijan. Very nice garden, good rooms and good food. Beds are really comfortable, great spacious bathroom and a porch with chairs in front of the room. Parking space available on site. The staff is helpful, speaks good English and is very nice. Totally recommended.
