The house is located in the open, surrounded by beautiful wildlife, on the banks of a shallow mountain river! The guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden with a variety of fruitful trees and more! The town is just 2 kilometers away along a dirt road, easily accessible in a regular sedan! The first grocery store is 3-4 kilometers away! Two UNESCO World Heritage Sites are within walking distance!...

Please be aware that other animals may also inhabit the wild, although they never come near the immediate area of the guesthouse! However, the activity of various wild animals is quite noticeable! In the evenings and at night, the howling of jackals can be heard

First of all, don’t use google maps for directions. But if you do, you search for iris bed and breakfast and then take that turn off , rocky road all the way to the end and you’ll find VL guesthouse ran by Oren

Much love to Arman and robin, a lovely couple that came for a honeymoon and is now on their third month at the guesthouse. We stayed with our 1 year 4 month old son

Very peaceful location with a fantastic host, who couldn’t do enough to help us, very hospitable. We stayed in the larger cabin and it was cosy

Hotel Yan Hostel

This is a very clean and spatial apartment near the center of Alaverdi with fully equipped furniture and facilities you need, especially suitable for family travelers who want to explore the area’s UNESCO sites as the host can help arrange good driver for you

The hosts are super friendly and great people. An hour into our stay they surprised us with a tray of delicious homemade spas. They upgraded us to a nicer, more private room at no cost. The breakfast was great too.

Stayed there several times depend on my work, amazing place, amazing host, amazing service. i left that place and left my heart there, always looking forward to have chance to go back. Thank you so much, good luck ♥️

Perhaps the best during my trip in Armenia from Gyumri to Meghri and back to Georgia. Room was large, very nice, modern, clean and neat. Very pleasant hosts, they did care

Clean rooms, propper breakfast and a very friendly host for a fair price. If you plan to visite Alaverdi I highly recommend the Palma B&B. Good hiking can be found close by if you are into that ;)

Very nice place to stay. The swimming pool is very enjoyable during the hot days! The host is very nice, smiling and accommodating! I totally recommend this b&b!

The city of Alaverdi was very old and the roads are very uncomfortable and full of slit pits but this house guest really is like a paradise in the old city

Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Bathroom is shared with the host family. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly. Pool didn’t look too inviting, which is why we did not try it

It shines between very old buildings with beautiful garden yard and beautiful building. The owners were very nice and friendly and all rooms and beds are very clean and smells well

Very nice place, the lady is always smiling and really caring. Swimming pool was very enjoyable. Breakfast is quite basic but very tasty. Thanks!

We had a really nice surprise with this hotel. We arrived late and were welcomed warmly. The receptionist didnt speak any English, but he called the manager and she looked after as. There was as well a common kitchen

A good hotel. The service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with the breakfasts. The view from the room is incredible.

Extremely nice staff even upgraded us to a more expensive room for free. The rooms are clean, and rhe food is hearty and delicious. Would reccomend if staying in Alaverdi!:)

Arev, Greta and Vahram are genuine, kind hearted people and treated us like one of their own. If you wanna see what the village is like, this location is the epitome of a great environment to indulge yourself with nature

We had a pleasant stay and received a warm welcome from Greta. It is a quiet, somewhat secluded location; don’t expect luxury, but the service is excellent. Greta also took great care in preparing breakfast. 🇳🇱

Went horseback riding and hiking in the region and this was a great place to stay! The rooms were perfect and the balcony was a great addition. We also ate dinner here and it was delicious for a great price

The food that they served us for breakfast and dinner was beyond amazing that it symbolises the true essence of what this culture is about

They also made delicious food making the stay top tier(thank you tikin Greta!) You would be missing out if you didn't choose to stay here

Wonderful!! My family stayed at Odzun 2 weeks ago and not only was the view gorgeous, the people were incredibly kind

Wonderful host, who welcomes you in her own house. The vintage-kinda rooms with amazing view will stun you, let alone the food. Amazing place for walking or visiting the monasteries.

The stay was enjoyable to say the least, the old style and antique items displayed throughout the b&b are interesting to see. The hostess is a nice lady who speaks also english, so it’s nice to have a conversation

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The place was cosy and quirky (particularly our wooden cabin living room), the breakfasts and dinner were so lovely and Irene was a charming host.

Loved my stay here! Great hostess and a welcoming environment. Loved my room overlooking the river!

The house is a lovely old place, like grandma's house. There are nice views of the canon from it and you will sleep peacefully to the sound of the river below

I really enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect on the banks of a steep valley. More expensive that a hostel but it was value for money. I can recommend this place.

It's a very neat and well maintained house with a beautiful garden. The room is very large with a separate bedroom. Onside is a fridge and in the little hall even a washing machine

This B&B is located in a very remote place but reachable with a regular car. Our first impression of the litte village and the road to the B&B is ' What the hell is this?'. But you will be suprised when you arrive

Everything is very clean and the family who runs it is very nice
