Irina and Stephan... great host! Cheap and clean, wonderful breakfast and dinner.
Good place to spend a night or two. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the room since the beds are comfortable and the shower gives hot water.
There is breakfast/dining room. The breakfast is good but dinner is to expensive for what you pay. There are nice restaurants close by where you can get a lot more food for the same price.
The host is really friendly, speaks english and tries to make her quests feel at home.
In case I needed a place to stay around this region I would come back again

The stay was enjoyable to say the least, the old style and antique items displayed throughout the b&b are interesting to see.
The hostess is a nice lady who speaks also english, so it’s nice to have a conversation.
Breakfast is lovely with delicious pancakes and omelettes but for dinner it’s a bit too expensive for the amount of food you get, but there are lovely dinner options in the area ~Zarni Parni for example~.
Overall would i definitely stay here again and see more of the area, or even go rafting.

Wonderful stay, hosts are welcoming and helpful. It has a partnership with a local tour group that provide incredible free tours. No hesitation recommending iris to anyone planning on coming to Armenia.
staying at Iris guesthouse was very nice and welcoming! The room and the bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was also one of the best in Armenia. Absolutely uncomplicated, 110% love factor ! thank you and all the best.
I want to be kind but accommodation is very tired. Bed short, sheets and quilt heavy, old. Towels hard. Chairs on terrace too stretched to be comfortable. Bathroom good, hot shower. Iris makes lovely tea, always a large pot. Breads not fresh. Cheese fresh and strong suits local tastes. Few jams homemade. First B& B in Armenia in 2 weeks here, to serve packet biscuits and cake and charge for a load of laundry. Lacks atmosphere, music would be nice. Probably better with a crowd of Armenians.
Perfect host. Very nice Lady with knowledge of the region and people. She also has tips for tours and walks and can make arrangements if you like. Make sure to have dinner at her place, great food!!! ?

I really enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect on the banks of a steep valley. More expensive that a hostel but it was value for money. I can recommend this place.
