Crowne Plaza Canberra, an IHG Hotel, Canberra1 / 30
8.7
Canberra, 16 Provan Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The bus station for trips from Sydney to Canberra is right next to the Novotel, and it's just a few hundred meters walk to the Crowne Plaza. The hotel facilities are good, with a pool and gym
concierge has good supply of information of whats on in Canberra available and happy to google any other information you may need. Parking is a little tight but secure
We stay here every time when we are in Canberra. Loves the buffet breakfast and late check out. Used the gym and the ping pong table. Had a very relaxing stay, happy with everything and would come back again.
The location is very convenient, with many restaurants right outside the door. However, I didn't realize that hotels abroad don't provide slippers or similar amenities
The outdoor pool didn't seem very clean, which was a bit disappointing for the kids
I believe in the hotel business it’s the small things that make your stay memorable, and while the hotel itself is fairly standard, we had a number of interactions that made me and my family feel at home

Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel, Canberra1 / 30
8.9
Canberra, 120 Commonwealth Ave (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A quiet location but a great spot to go for walks around the nearby lake or to the various galleries and museums that are nearby. Good natural light in most rooms I've stayed in
All good, but we may need more information about the swimming pool, wifi ...on the time we check in at the receptionist instead of we have to ask to know.
The restaurant serves a good breakfast and I had a really nice well grilled steak for dinner on this stay. Staff are always friendly and relaxed
I've stayed here many times over a number of years and it never disappoints. Good spaces throughout the hotel
Serene and peaceful, excellent service, well-trained staff who are warm, thoughtful and attentive.
Hotel is very old don't look like five stars rest all good

Novotel Hotel, Canberra1 / 30
8.5
Canberra, 65 Northbourne Ave (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We initially booked this hotel for its convenient location, available parking, excellent facilities, and the trusted Novotel brand. From the moment we arrived, it exceeded our expectations
Great location, but rooms are really dated. Staff at the reception and restaurant was good - but room service did respond to our request. Over all ok experience
The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner
There are also plenty of different restaurants nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry – the only problem is deciding what to eat! (´▽`) Although the hotel isn't brand new, and the water sometimes cuts out briefly when showering at night, it has all the necessary facilities and a great location, so I'd still highly recommend it
The beds were exceptionally comfortable and provided one of the best sleeps I’ve had. The swimming pool, sauna, and spa were impressive and enjoyed each evening
Public amenities include a pool and a sauna (though it was closed when I tried to use it in the evening). The service was friendly and helpful with any issues

Avenue Hotel Canberra, Canberra1 / 21
9.1
Canberra, 80 Northbourne Ave (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My family and myself with my little grandson we booked this hotel and stayed there for 3nights just a couple of days ago in a 2 bedroom apartment. Pramesh checked us in and out
So friendly and explained everything especially the complementary car park and all. We had our breakfast on the last day and even that was so nice. Location the best, close to everything for dining, shopping etc
I reported it next morning when I was going out for the day and was assured it would be sorted. I asked on my return that evening and was told it had been checked by the maintenance team and cleaned by housekeeping
It was more than a suite; it was a fully self-contained apartment. The spa bath was magical, but unfortunately it wasn’t clean when I switched it on after filling it. Loads of black gunk came out from the jets
The Avenue Hotel suited me perfectly for a 3 night trip to Canberra. I wanted something modern and pretty central, with a bathtub to relax in after long days of sightseeing
Still a bit of a pain as I had to pack and move

Nothing felt like too much trouble, and they even looked after the driver of the car taking me to the ceremony while I was getting ready, which was such a thoughtful touch

We stayed at Hotel Realm the night before and the night of our wedding and the experience was absolutely exceptional

Canberra, 17 Canberra Ave. | Corner Canberra Ave & National Circuit (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
We enjoyed our staycation. Good service, enjoyed indoor swimming and spa pool. Loved their breakfast buffet.
The room was spacious and bed big and comfortable. The view was right to the pool area. The pool was heated nice and warm, big gym with great selection of equipment
The breakfast was good, but the coffee included was nothing special no barista coffee
There was a misundesstood at the beginning. Thanks to the manager(?) for his help and uderstanding.   Thanks for the free breakfast. We didnt eat much because my children just underwent their oral surgery
This is the second time we have stayed here and it was a last minute decision. Location was great for the purpose of the visit to Canberra
The breakfast menu was pretty much the same every day, which was a bit disappointing, but there was still a good variety and plenty of food

Vibe Hotel, Canberra1 / 30
8.5
Canberra, 1 Rogan St (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel is very unique inside with open central atrium rooms built around outside. Parking underneath at good price. Rooms are spacious great bar and food area downstairs. Staff were great easy check-in
Great hotel adjacent to the airport. Short walk down after arrival or prior to departure, if required to stay in Canberra. Rooms have all been well prepared and modern. Service is very friendly and the food good
Especially enjoy the buffet breakfast
The kitchen doesn’t open until 7am, which simply doesn’t work for a solo traveller with an early departure. A continental grab-and-go option would be an easy win and make a genuine difference to guests in that situation
Crumbs on the bedroom floor and mould in the shower grout aren’t what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. I let it go given I was only there one night, but it shouldn’t be something guests have to overlook at all
For the most part, the room delivered the basics well; spacious, comfortable bed, TV, fridge, and a decent bathroom. A solid enough base for a short stay. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired

Canberra, 1 Burbury Close (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice location, quite Barton, bars and restaurants around. Close to city. Room is practical, smells good. Overall, we are very satisfied! Highly recommended!
Fully equipped with enough kitchen including cooking tools that I have even cooked with ingredients from Cole’s, so you could literally stay as usual as you are in your home.
Had a good sleep here. Bed was comfy and room nice and quiet. There was no soap in the shower unfortunately. The one window winder was broken. Just one night but decent place to stay.
Great staff the accommodation was superb. The wifi was awesome and the parking great. Really great value a must I would say. I’ve stayed abou ten hotels in Canberra this hands down the best and really great rates
Our stay at the Burberry Hotel was spot on. Moses looked after us and genuinely went above and beyond, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable
The location is great too, plenty of really nice restaurants just across the street, and the hotel amenities are well kept and comfortable

Facilities are very good for kids.
Good pool complex but some shade cloth over a section of the pool would be welcome. Bar and restaurant open except Sunday eve. Restaurant open for breakfast too
Good place but the dishes wasn’t clean in the restaurant
I love it. This place very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Food cans beverages are good. Price friendly.
Good privacy, fully equipped kitchen
Absolutely superb We stayed in a Blue Gum Villa and it was amazing. Spotlessly clean and huge bedrooms. The bathroom was massive with modern fixtures and had more than enough large fluffy towels and other linens

Good and clean room.. Perfect for couple who seek history value on accommodation.
What a beautiful hotel, amongst the more corporate looking buildings around it. The hotels decor captures the history and essence of the building. It is well placed to explore many of Canberras attractions
Hotel Kurrajong was 3 minutes from where we had to be, so we decided to stay there. The room was fresh and modern. The staff kindly gave us a cot for our child and a high chair to eat
We were married in September 2022 at Hotel Kurrajong, after a year of planning with Michaela. It was a beautiful and picturesque day, filled with love and joy, followed by a rock and roll celebration
Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kurrajong Canberra. The hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort beautifully. The restaurant was great for dinner and drinks as well as breakfast
Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience

The breakfast buffet is good, has all of the regular options like bread , waffles , cereal, juices, coffee. hashbrowns etc freshly prepared egg dishes if you request. The staff managing breakfast is polite and helpful
The room was small but good enough for 2 people. Room has centralised airconditioning which is controlled by a dial, not sure if it worked or not as the temperature wasnt really increasing or decreasing when we moved it
The atmosphere is calm and the central garden area a charm. The food is great and the menu adequate. It feels like a little resort inside with the central bar and outside pool. The buffet breakfast is great value
Not the best hotel we have ever stayed at but we are regular guests here! For the price, location and amenities we need and how often we have to stay in Canberra it works great for my family
Central and ideal place to stay to access everything we needed. Added bonus being close to a tram station. Very friendly staff in every area
Spent a lovely few hours Valentine's evening having a few drinks and bar snacks near the water feature. Room was very comfortable and clean

Friendly service staff and free mineral water, coffee, snacks and fruits for you and your guests. Convenient location to many eateries.
Great value hotel in a great location.  Nothing to fault
The location was fantastic (food options walking distance away), parking was readily available and sheltered (underground carpark), there's a small 24 hour gym though unfortunately the pool was close due to some maintenance issues
She went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for their visit. We’re definitely planning to rebook for future visits, and I can’t thank the team at Accommodate Canberra enough for their outstanding service
It was pretty good.  Our Bed wasn't made after 1st Night, otherwise all good.
Location of bus stop into the city is a stone throw away and Brookside shopping mall is just 5 mins walk.   It provides continental breakfast (free of charge) and the hotel is new with a pub and restaurant

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Good facilities. Thank you for the lovely stay.
They are really friendly and helpful, provided clear directions and assistance to me upon arrival as I couldn't find the car park. Everything is easily accessible and staff are really really nice and friendly
Room was spotless Bed was very comfortable , Price was very reasonable , staff were Friendly, Breakfast was only $20 booked the night before

The shower was a blessing, with good quality toiletries and plentiful hot water. The water pressure dropped when a neighbouring room started using it, but was still perfectly adequate
Very clean and cozy. Very co-operative and helpful staff. Restaurant not open everyday.
Bed is on the soft side but good shower. Short drive to attractions.
We enjoyed our recent two-night stay at the Best Western in Canberra. As a base for a short trip, it offered great value for money and a quiet, comfortable experience
While the bathroom felt a little dated, everything worked perfectly, and the shower pressure was excellent
Great location. Clean but a little bit outdated. Overall good for value.

Parking is also hassle-free, with plenty of spaces available in the underground car park. The rates are very affordable, offering excellent value for money
This is genuinely an outstanding choice, especially for families visiting Canberra with children. While the room facilities aren't the newest, they are spotlessly clean, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable
We got referral from our friend and were very happy with our first experience here. Clean, comfy, complete amenities. Close to everywhere, restaurant, supermarket, petrol
The hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. You can find almost everything you need within a 5-minute walk, from supermarkets to restaurants and bars
Stayed one night and was offered two breakfast vouchers which we used to order a big feed in the morning, what a pleasant surprise.
There are friendly staffs and easy to find the location. We will definately come back for our next trip to Canberra

A good hotel, central in Gungahlin town. Clean. Eateries and supermarkets nearby.
Passing by this place on the way to Canberra, it is considered a satellite city of Canberra, very convenient for shopping and eating. The location of the hotel is OK. The balcony is suitable for sitting and relaxing
The room is spacious and has kitchen utensils
We usually stay here when visiting ACT as close to our family, and will continue to do so
Excellent location. Walking distance to Gungahlin Town Centre. Great value for money.
Somewhat underwhelming. We've stayed there before, but this experience has us questioning if we'll return. Air con didn't work effectively There were stains on some bedding Car park was filled with litter

Statesman Hotel, Canberra1 / 30
8.4
Canberra, Cnr Strangways & Theodore Streets (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The Statesman offers a good clean room with a fairly comfortable bed. It’s convenient when I catch up with old Air Force mates. The pub is good though I must admit the food at the restaurant is average at best.
Despite this, the hotel offers good value and convenient amenities. We would stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and value-for-money overnight stay in Canberra
The bed was clean and comfortable, although it was a bit softer than we would prefer, but still allowed for a good night's sleep
The shower had excellent water pressure, and the Leif toiletries were a nice touch, making our wash most refreshing
The young lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful, which made the arrival smooth and welcoming. One downside was that the room lighting was quite dim, which made the space feel a little darker than ideal
The Reception staff was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. When we need convenient and affordable accommodation in Canberra, we will definitely book in.

Canberra, Edinburgh Avenue, 25 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is nice and the hotel amenities are very good I would like to emphasis the no aircon in the apartments which is what I already knew before booking it but it is honestly unbearable in this hot weather I thought the hotel had some sort of cooling system which would make it more berable but it has nothing, they did provide us with a fan which was nice but doesn’t make a difference in comparison...
Staff was very good in particular I had one guy check us in and he was amazing
Room amenities were top notch. Eateries not far walk. The cupping room also located nearby. Easy to contact for enquiries.
The front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming. The room was large, but the decor and furniture felt a bit old. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The view itself was pretty good. The decoration of the room and comfortableness were top tier.
Despite a bit of walk to the Canberra Centre, it is a nice place to stay; relaxing environment, pleasant and helpful reception, comfy bed, good shower, v well cleaned up!

1. Cheap and good location, clean bedroom with 4 single beds. 2. In room kitchen equipped with amenities. 3. Clean and Spacious dining room just in front of bedroom. 4. Good service.
The hotel's location is pretty good, with a park right next to it that hosts a market on weekends. The hotel rooms also have a kitchen, which is great for preparing your own meals
Location is good. Breakfast is simple, no any vegetables and egg. No power socket on bed side. Shower flower is old with little water and little leaking. Consider the location and price, still ok.
Clean, tidy, and comfortable with a beautiful environment. Convenient transportation and a rich breakfast. Highly recommended.
Overall it was okay, but all the gym equipment was broken.
The bathroom was not properly clean, and the hot water was inconsistent. We were told the room would be serviced by 10am, but when we returned at 2pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned. I would not recommend staying here

I was inspired to leave this review after seeing there was only one other review on TripAdvisor. As you see from the photos these services apartments have generously large home sized rooms
The balconies are the same, mine with a great view over the pool below and Canberra. Canberrans hidden gem!! Full kitchen with everything required. Large gym, pool and BBQ areas
One problem we had was that they didn’t give us an address of where the hotel was, they just said it was on this street across from a casino which was helpful but not helpful enough as the hotel didn’t have a big name anywhere
They also didn’t really tell us how to get in of where to get in. This problem may have just been us… so please I would still highly recommend this place
Parking also in secure garage with lift access. Do not hesitate in booking a stay at Astra Manhattan
Great apartments in the perfect location. Well furnished, good heating/cooling has good amenities.
