Rydges Canberra1 / 43

Canberra, Cnr Canberra Ave & National Cct, Forrest (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Very nice hotel. Specially stay with children’s and family members . My kids really enjoyed it.
I recently stayed at Rydges Canberra and, overall, found the experience to be quite average. The hotel didn’t quite live up to my expectations — while it wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t particularly memorable. The room itself was clean but pretty basic and somewhat dated, lacking the comfort or extra touches you'd hope for at this price point. One thing that stood out as a bit off-putting was the parking...
Large clean room. Friendly staff. Central location close to many of Canberra’s attractions.
Second time staying here, the indoor pool was nice, just under 20m in length and but the jacuzzi was a bit small for the number of guests staying at the hotel. The gym was nice enough also, I was able to get a decent workout using 7,8+ machines. The room was really clean and nice with fully stocked mini bar. Close from the grocery store and close enough from the Parliament House (walking distance)
Great place for an overnight sleep or longer Excellent staff very helpful and friendly. Nice indoor pool and spa and has a gym very well set out.
my family and I love to stay here because the place are so nice

Staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel includes complimentary car park.
Nice Hotel. However not the greatest location, need a car to get around.
Hotel was very clean, staff were very nice and polite and location was great.
We stayed over Christmas and it was lovely for the kids. They were welcomed with gift packs full of mini-games, not just the normal colouring papers and pencils. They also have a Christmas workshop set up way before Christmas. The room was very nicely decorated with ample of space for crafting and small table for some drinks. The only downside was that many things had been used up and not refilled...
There is no buffet breakfast, and we ordered three sets of breakfast, which are not very delicious compared with those outside the hotel. Other than that, everything is perfect, especially when we checked in the first night, the front desk staff went to the garage to teach my husband how to park the car.
I've been to Canberra twice. This is the best hotel I've stayed in. It's really nice. The staff are warm and considerate. The room is big, new and smells good. There were 4 people here this time and we had an extra bed in the living room. It's very convenient. It's only 5 minutes away from Parliament Hill in Canberra. It's in the center of the city. The location is very good. Parking is free on weekends...

Nice classy hotel with very clean rooms and charming breakfast restaurant.
We stayed for the Canberra Marathon Festival. The location was close to the main event area, and there is a cafe and a foodstore close by. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The area is quiet but there are a few restaurant's and bars along the lake about a 10-minute walk away. Uber's were always only a minute away. We had a great time seeing the sights, a lot of them are within walking...
The hotel is classic, the rooms are comfortable and parking is convenient!
Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, we had breakfasts in the morning- hubby loved it and they had option for vegan as well. Only con is smelling cigarettes while we walking to the room. There were too many smokers in the courtyard along the hallway.
Very good hotel, we’ve stayed here a few times already. Food is great and staff members are friendly. We would recommend the hotel to other people.
Old charm meets modern amenities. We loved our short stay at hotel Kurrajong. From the entrance with the fireplace and warm and helpful staff to the garden for pre dinner drinks. Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience.

This was in a great position, with good communication and tidy facilities
Clean and comfortable, only down fall TV in bedroom had no reception and TV in living room was cutting in and out.
Room was good however the bed was small. Also, the tv barely can play a local news as the screen keeps on freezing. In addition, the bathroom floor was sticky. I was ones in room 3 and 5 and noticed the same thing, it’s as if they don’t properly clean the floor tiles. This time I was in 145 and the bathroom/toilet floor was sticky. Otherwise they have free coffee at the reception which was good.
Have stayed there 3 times in the last 3 weeks and 2 out of 3 times was upgraded to a bigger room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very affordable.
Excellent accommodation and really well run. All staff were great and the facilities were fantastic.
Although check-in time ends at 8pm and we arrived a little after 8 on a long weekend, the concierge was still there so we were able to check in smoothly. If we arrived closer to 9pm, our keys would be stored in a lock box outside with a PIN code sent to our phone for entry instructions. Our 2 Bedroom Apartment was incredibly spacious. We had generous storage, a large living room and dining area. The...
I am a regular customer and happy with both location and service Modest but tidy and adequate Very clean and serviced regularly Prompt and efficient staff service at the counter

Despite a bit of walk to the Canberra Centre, it is a nice place to stay; relaxing environment, pleasant and helpful reception, comfy bed, good shower, v well cleaned up!
It's always a pleasure to enter the cosy reception area on a cold Canberra day. I was given an apartment with a fold out bed first. Felt like I would be in camping and not in a hotel. Called the reception and verbalised my concern. I got a wonderful upgrade without hesitation. Stay was wonderful. Didn't get the welcome drinks that were advertised but forgot about to ask for it....Had a very pleasant...
From the moment you pull up in the car at this hotel you realize it will have some challenges. All the spots are taken in front of the hotel at the 1/2 hour parking area nearest the check in and were for our entire three night stay. Instead you need to park in the garage below the building and try and figure out the maze into the hotel with no signage and poor lighting. (Don't even try to use the...
Superb location . Amazing views Friendly and helpful staff.
Great stay in Canberra I would have preferred a two bedroom apartment but settled for two one-bedroom apartments. Welcome drinks were appreciated and breakfast was excellent.
Friendly, cool and comfortable hotel in a fun part of Canberra. Highly recommend

Table tennis, Pool
Rooms where very cold even with the heating set on high, slept cold all night
The amenities were terrific especially for kids. Food was good, service also. Our cabin was tired, curtains had moth holes in them. Table was unbalanced my husband tired to fix it to no avail. very squeezey for a family of 4.
Had a lovely 2 night stay at Alivio, travelled to Canberra to attend a wedding. Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was everything we needed. We were able to have dinner at the onsite restaurant so we didn’t have to go out and didn’t have to cater for our own meals. Meals were quite nice. Had breakfast there as well which was also nice but probably a bit too expensive to do it each day. Staff were...
Alivio Tourist Park ticks all the boxes. Great choice of accommodation. Lots of fun activities in the park including a swimming pool and spa, tennis court and table tennis. We had a ball!
Good privacy, fully equipped kitchen
Toilet is blocked which we didn't expect......but the location is not bad.

a very comfortable and nice hotel for driver, we should have stayed more days!
We stayed in the one bedroom appartments and it was perfect accommodation. Clean warm and high end. The best accommodation we’ve found in Canberra.
This two bedroom apartment is very modern and comfortable. Bed mattress is plush and supporting. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Clean, well priced and great location

location, under carpark, clean and extremely good staff
Reception and cleaning staff are amazing. They make you feel like you're at home. They also have this delicious café at the bottom that is a must go and see. Close to the bus interchange like literally 1min walk and like 2min walk from the main mall and restaurants in the suburb. So it's a great location.
Great location being beside the shopping centre. Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of areas for walking and good to have a look around. Underground parking is 2.1mt clear and guest parking could be outlined or signed a little better. Other than that I think I'll be happy to stay here for the week while I work away from home.
Really nice apartments for a good price
Quiet, clean, close to main shopping centre
This inexpensive hotel is good for cheap business travel if you have business in Tuggeranong. It’s not convenient to Canberra really. I stayed for 3 weeks for business and while my room was serviced daily it consisted of making the bed and changing the towels. After three weeks it could really have used a vacuum and a wipe down.

Warm air from Air con was very very bad (insufficient power) during my stay ambient was -3C in the evening. No heater is available, bath room is not separated from shower space, water from shower inevitably wet the toilet seating area.
Breakfast value for money  Overall very good value for money, good location. An adequate budget hotel if comfortable staying somewhere  comfortable not wearing top of the range clothing with top of the range accessories. Curtains need new hooks, but facilities in room adequate and clean
I have stayed at Madison Capital in Braddon many times now. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars & shopping centre. Nice continental breakfast included.
Convenient location at heart of Canberra. But room is crowded with basic supplies. Parking lot is full, parked along side curb. Breakfast has little choice. There is no hot food for breakfast. Disappointed.
Quite good for an one night stay. Can't wrong the location. Reception is great but breakfast is something you can give a miss if you are looking for a variety.
The room is not soundproofed, the cars passing downstairs are very noisy, and I can't sleep well. The breakfast is very simple。The parking space is too narrow, which tests your parking skills。

While a great locations and the unit is certainly spacious & comfortable. Bedding, linen all as you would expect, but… The details disappointed. Constantly dripping tap in ensuite, Dirty curtains, broken light switch, wonky fan, cobwebs in windows, tv didn’t work (investigated and found aerial etc had been disconnected). Missing towel rail in ensuite, bracket still on the wall. Tv remote taped together...
I stayed in Phoenix apartments for a week and found it to be all I needed. Laundry was helpful (washing machine and iron both were used), and the kitchen made self-catering practical choice. Heating was good in lounge and bedroom, with plenty of winter sunlight through north-facing windows.
Overall a good place to stay Location is excellent, quiet area and close to all, the apartment is large and well appointed. bed was too soft for my liking had very thick topper mattress may need replacing need to revisit instructions signage in unit as it still talks of weekly internet charge which is not true as it is free wifi One aspect out of the control of the accommodation provider was the...
We booked a one room apartment in CityStyle for a 3 night mid-week stay. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen had all the utensils and equipment needed for self catering. The units are within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops in the...
We recently stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was hugh, full kitchen, big lounge dinner and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit tired but clean, plently of secure parking underneath. In particular we found the location excellent. Two streets over from Lonsdale st and a big shopping centre. We are both 70 and found no difficulty getting everywhere on foot....
Great apartment, friendly staff, key pick up was nice and easy, location was great, Central to everything making it easy to get around, overall a great experience recommend it for families and reasonably priced for what you get

Cleanliness, friendly staff & made my stay in the ACT smooth & memorable. I recommend Abode Gungahlin for anyone who is after a warm & welcoming place to stay whilst visiting Canberra. Great job everyone!
Very very clean, rooms are a good size, plenty of hot water and quiet.
Great location able to walk to shops restaurants and entertainment. Clean, well presented rooms, staff were lovely and helpful.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff and good location with everything you need near by without heading into the city. Rooms are not sound proof so not good for sleeping in.
Was a great place to stay at! Loved you had a washer and dryer provided in the rooms too! Will definitely stay here again!
Rooms were nice, clean etc. The only problem I that the carparks are not monitored so they fill up with people going to the pub. Leaving you driving laps of the streets trying to find somewhere to park for the night.

Pros: - nice apartment that is close to everything and walking distance from food and shops. - nice view. - pool was refreshing and a nice size. - walking distance from most things. - the double glassed windows kept the heat in but unfortunately it was quite warm when we went so we had to put the a/c on otherwise we couldn’t sleep because we would wake up hot. Cons: - one of the bathroom showers was...
