Relatively nice place. Staff were very good and they are both well trained and know their jobs. Breakfast is worth it, quite the spread and they do have plenty of seating. Rooms okay but try and avoid getting one in the main atrium area due to noise. Parking easy and quick access to rooms.

Overall, the room was good and the facilities were decent. However, the bathroom renovation was quite old-fashioned, with just a bathtub and a fixed showerhead, which isn't very convenient for guests who prefer a shower.

Hyatt Hotel is located beside Lake Burley Griffin. Easy to reach by car but seems like there is not much public transport nearby. We rented a car for our trip in Canberra so accessibility wasn’t an issue for us. Hotel parking was AUD30 in their underground carpark. They recommended for us to park on the street parking. As the hotel is branded and priced as Park Hyatt instead of Hyatt Hotel, more is expected especially the concierge service. The design of room is a little bit strange and waste of space as it comes with a very long corridor but with only a desk there.

Large clean rooms. Very convenient location, easy walk to the airport. Friendly staff.

The room wasn’t cleaned. The house keeper might only made up the bed. Previous guests drink and hair left on the bedside table.

Stayed here as a rest stop for our weekend Perisher trip. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It’s got parking right under in the basement which was super convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

If you make a quick trip to Canberra for leisure, I recommend this hotel, which locates just 10 min walk from the terminal building.  It is super convenient to hop a R3 bus to the city center.

Fifth time staying at the Vibe Canberra & it always lives up to expectations. Reception check in very quick, food was exceptional & staff were extremely polite & courteous. Highly recommended! Three minute walk to the airport which is very handy for an early morning flight.

Returned to The Avenue a few years after being a regular. They haven't missed a beat! Room is immaculate, super comfortable beds, great pillows, great amenities and outstanding service. Add to this the great food, prompt room service and friendly staff and I'd rate The Avenue as the best in Canberra and best value.

Room - booked a single bedroom with spa for three nights over Easter. Room was spacious, clean and have everything you need. Nice classy hotel with very clean rooms and charming breakfast restaurant.

We stayed for the Canberra Marathon Festival. The location was close to the main event area, and there is a cafe and a foodstore close by. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, we had breakfasts in the morning- hubby loved it and they had option for vegan as well. Only con is smelling cigarettes while we walking to the room. There were too many smokers in the courtyard along the hallway.

Old charm meets modern amenities. We loved our short stay at hotel Kurrajong. From the entrance with the fireplace and warm and helpful staff to the garden for pre dinner drinks. Also enjoyed the plaques scattered on the walls detailing the hotels history with political and royal identities. A very relaxed and easy experience.

Hotel was very clean, staff were very nice and polite and location was great.

We stayed over Christmas and it was lovely for the kids. They were welcomed with gift packs full of mini-games, not just the normal colouring papers and pencils. They also have a Christmas workshop set up way before Christmas. The room was very nicely decorated with ample of space for crafting and small table for some drinks. The only downside was that many things had been used up and not refilled...

There is no buffet breakfast, and we ordered three sets of breakfast, which are not very delicious compared with those outside the hotel. Other than that, everything is perfect, especially when we checked in the first night, the front desk staff went to the garage to teach my husband how to park the car.

Second time staying here, the indoor pool was nice, just under 20m in length and but the jacuzzi was a bit small for the number of guests staying at the hotel. The gym was nice enough also, I was able to get a decent workout using 7,8+ machines. The room was really clean and nice with fully stocked mini bar. Close from the grocery store and close enough from the Parliament House (walking distance)

They configured the beds the way we wanted. We loved the indoor plants, especially my toddler. Light rail is a short walk away. Buffet breakfast was awesome!

We had a great stay at Rex hotel. Room was clean (including the bathroom), staff were also very friendly and helpful. It offers free parking as well, which was very good. It was very quiet. The location is also really good, you’re literally close to anywhere in Canberra!

There were some positives, but several aspects of my stay fell below expectations for the price. Room privacy My room was connected to another via an internal door with very limited sound insulation. Noise from the adjacent room was clearly audible, which reduced comfort and privacy. Family owned hotel that easily surpasses the big hotel chains.

The Canberra Rex Hotel exceeded our expectations. We held our Executive Assistant Congress in the Great Room, which was a beautiful room. The catering has had excellent feedback. Rooms where very cold even with the heating set on high, slept cold all night

The amenities were terrific especially for kids. Food was good, service also. Our cabin was tired, curtains had moth holes in them. Table was unbalanced my husband tired to fix it to no avail. very squeezey for a family of 4.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Alivio, travelled to Canberra to attend a wedding. Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was everything we needed. Alivio Tourist Park ticks all the boxes. Great choice of accommodation. Lots of fun activities in the park including a swimming pool and spa, tennis court and table tennis. We had a ball!

This hotel in Kansas City is pretty good. It was nice to stop for a night's rest on the way to Melbourne.

It's OK. My schedule changed and I canceled one day at the hotel, but they were willing to negotiate with me. Thank you very much! The hotel is in a good location, has parking, and the rooms and bathrooms are very large. Overall, it is a very cost-effective hotel, and it is worth staying at around 700!

Clean and comfortable, only down fall TV in bedroom had no reception and TV in living room was cutting in and out.

Room was good however the bed was small. Also, the tv barely can play a local news as the screen keeps on freezing. In addition, the bathroom floor was sticky. I was ones in room 3 and 5 and noticed the same thing, it’s as if they don’t properly clean the floor tiles. This time I was in 145 and the bathroom/toilet floor was sticky. Otherwise they have free coffee at the reception which was good.

The property has definitely seen better days and was quite run down with a musky smell. For the price and proximity of where we needed to be whilst in Canberra, it was sufficient.

Excellent location close to all amenities however noise in room was above average due to traffic. Loud music on Saturday night tended to make the stay a little concerning. Soundproofing rooms a litte lt combat road and party noise would be great.

The room was a good size and included a small kitchen and balcony. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was okay but poorly designed in relation to toilet paper roll positioning and towel rack. Overall a good experience.

Passing by this place on the way to Canberra, it is considered a satellite city of Canberra, very convenient for shopping and eating. The location of the hotel is OK. The balcony is suitable for sitting and relaxing. The room is spacious and has kitchen utensils.

We can hear people next door talking as we were arranged to stay at a connecting room. The door crack is so wide that we can hear people next door talking which gives a sense of insecurity. It is suggested that the door crack should be fixed, for the privacy of people staying at the two rooms who do not know each other.

The Reception staff was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. When we need convenient and affordable accommodation in Canberra, we will definitely book in.

We had a great stay at The Statesman for a work stint in Canberra. The rooms were clean and comfortable, it’s close to everything and a really nice bar and restaurant downstairs. I was there on a Thursday and the place was buzzing with the meat raffle. Couldn’t fault the service.

Happy with the room , TV.didnt have free to air commercial channels 9 & 7 and the night service desk is basically a help line that were very polite but useless telling me they would send an email at 7:30 the next day which was no help considering I was booking out the next morning. Very good location, close to light rail stop, Canberra centre and you can easily catch a coach downstairs.

The location is excellent, surrounded by great choices for restaurants, bars and convenience shops. Happy hour at the hotel 4-6pm about $14 for a schooner and wine. The room though was dated, and not the best value for money. Parking at the hotel is limited but has nearby parking options which cost less than the hotel’s daily rate.

Check-in service was a bit slow as only one staff member at the desk, and also tickets that weren’t included for the Pompeii exhibition weren’t available for some reason, so we had to wait a while before we actually received the tickets. We were last at this hotel just before Covid hit, so there was a marked improvement, but windows need to be soundproofed and also blockout curtains need to be laundered...

Warm air from Air con was very very bad (insufficient power) during my stay ambient was -3C in the evening. No heater is available, bath room is not separated from shower space, water from shower inevitably wet the toilet seating area.

Breakfast value for money  Overall very good value for money, good location. An adequate budget hotel if comfortable staying somewhere  comfortable not wearing top of the range clothing with top of the range accessories. Curtains need new hooks, but facilities in room adequate and clean 

I have stayed at Madison Capital in Braddon many times now. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars & shopping centre. Nice continental breakfast included.

Convenient location at heart of Canberra. But room is crowded with basic supplies. Parking lot is full, parked along side curb. Breakfast has little choice. There is no hot food for breakfast. Disappointed.
