Canberra, 16 Provan Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stay here every time when we are in Canberra. Loves the buffet breakfast and late check out. Used the gym and the ping pong table. Had a very relaxing stay, happy with everything and would come back again.
Canberra is a beautiful city, with streets and buildings that feel almost brand new. The bus station for trips from Sydney to Canberra is right next to the Novotel, and it's just a few hundred meters walk to the Crowne Plaza. The hotel facilities are good, with a pool and gym. The room size is smaller than what you'd find in China but larger than in Japan. Now, about the service: when I arrived, I...
The location is fantastic, right in the city center and incredibly close to the pedestrian street. The facilities are quite new, but the room was a bit on the small side.
The location is very convenient, with many restaurants right outside the door. However, I didn't realize that hotels abroad don't provide slippers or similar amenities. Overall, it was pretty good. The outdoor pool didn't seem very clean, which was a bit disappointing for the kids.
I recently stayed here for a business trip. While the hotel is clean and the room is big and well sized.
However, the interiors and the carpark do feel a bit dated and would benefit from a refresh.
The location is slightly removed from the main shopping and dining precincts—be prepared for a 10-minute walk if you’re looking for a meal outside the hotel.
However, the breakfast buffet is a major...
My experience this time was extremely poor. There happened to be an event at the hotel, and there were only two staff members at the front desk, resulting in a very long check-in line. Because my car is taller than 1.9 meters, I had to park in the outdoor parking lot, and each time I needed to enter, I had to call the front desk for access.
However, because the front desk was very busy, my call was...

Great location, but rooms are really dated. Staff at the reception and restaurant was good - but room service did respond to our request. Over all ok experience
The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. Public amenities include a pool and a sauna (though it was closed when I tried to use it in the evening). The service was friendly and helpful with any issues. Overall, it was great! 😍
The location is fantastic! If you're taking a FlixBus, it's right next to the station, and also very close to the local bus stop and train station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are also plenty of different restaurants nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry – the only problem is deciding what to eat! (´▽`)
Although the hotel isn't brand new, and the water sometimes cuts out...
Location at the central, nothing to say about that, nice and convenient east to find.
Swipe cards so hard to use, maybe that was my problem, took so long to figure out and still each time swipe, took me so long.
Really need to say something about cleanness, first there were still left over rubbish from the last guest.
Carpet so dirty, which is also acceptable as this property is not new anymore. But...
Nice place, clean, spacious. Very nice my family enjoyed the stay.
Great room, very spacious and bright. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the location is super convenient. There's a bus/train station nearby, so it's easy to get to the airport and local attractions. Just remember to grab a public transport card!

All good, but we may need more information about the swimming pool, wifi ...on the time we check in at the receptionist instead of we have to ask to know.
We booked a room for three people, but initially found that the room only had two sets of amenities, including bottles of water, slippers, and tea cups. After calling the front desk, the issue was gradually resolved.
There were spider webs outside the windows, which discouraged us from opening them.
The toilet occasionally made unusual noises, possibly when guests in neighboring rooms flushed.
My father...
Booked Hyatt to celebrate my birthday and got to check in early, plus the hotel surprised us with some cute chocolates!! Kush at the front desk was really friendly and helpful as well. Definitely willing to go back!
Serene and peaceful, excellent service, well-trained staff who are warm, thoughtful and attentive.
Lovely place with a great manager.
I stayed on Tuesday for work, and even though there was a blocked drain during the night, the staff handled it exceptionally well. They immediately changed my room and apologised the next morning, along with offering a complimentary service at checkout.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I will definitely visit again with my partner.
I've stayed here many times over a number of years and it never disappoints. Big rooms and bathrooms. Good spaces throughout the hotel. A quiet location but a great spot to go for walks around the nearby lake or to the various galleries and museums that are nearby. Good natural light in most rooms I've stayed in. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and I had a really nice well grilled steak for...

We had the spa suite which is very spacious with kitchen facilities, fridge and microwave. Living room area is very comfy. We love the spa, the water pressure is quite strong. i
Fast becoming a a an outdated hotel. Superior king rooms are small. Do yourself a favpur and Book the 1bd apartment as it has more space.
Location is pretty good. A short walk to the centre and shops.
Reception staff nice enough. Very robotic. Unfortunately we had a few problems when we checked in that eventually got resolved but only because we kept on reminding staff to do something about it...
The Avenue Hotel suited me perfectly for a 3 night trip to Canberra. I wanted something modern and pretty central, with a bathtub to relax in after long days of sightseeing. My spa suite was fantastic. It was more than a suite; it was a fully self-contained apartment.
The spa bath was magical, but unfortunately it wasn’t clean when I switched it on after filling it. Loads of black gunk came out from...
My family and myself with my little grandson we booked this hotel and stayed there for 3nights just a couple of days ago in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was just amazing.
Pramesh checked us in and out. So friendly and explained everything especially the complementary car park and all.
We had our breakfast on the last day and even that was so nice.
Location the best, close to everything for dining, shopping...
We stayed at the Avenue Hotel for a Sunday Spa special and it was fantastic. The suite was lovely with a balcony overlooking Northbourne Ave with a view our to Black Mountain. The room comes equipped with a well equipped kitchenette and a huge spa bath (as the name suggests). Our deal included parking, breakfast and a voucher for the in house restaurant Marble and Grain so it was excellent value.

Great hotel and location! Clean room. Gabriel checked us in and was very warm, welcoming and helpful. He also held the lifts for us etc, small things that made the difference to excellent service.
If I had to complain about something, it’s that the rooms are really warm overnight, even with the A/C. Couldn’t keep the door open overnight as we faced the main road on level 1. The beds are also far too...

We stayed at Hotel Realm the night before and the night of our wedding and the experience was absolutely exceptional.

A stylish, comfortable hotel with spacious, well-appointed rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. Service is friendly and professional, and the hotel has a calm, upmarket feel throughout. Its quiet location is still very convenient to Parliament House and the CBD. A great choice for a high-quality stay in Canberra.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Executive-level service with exceptional attention to detail and genuine care
Our experience at Hotel Realm exemplifies what true luxury hospitality should be — intelligent, anticipatory, and deeply human.

Stayed here for a single night recently with my son, overall the stay was pleasant and front desk team were very nice, helpful and attentive.
However I believe I was charged $36 for a glass of wine through room service and I’m awaiting the invoice that was supposed to be sent to me upon checkout, I have emailed with no response as I would like some clarification on the cost.
The fridge in the room...
Very satisfied! The environment and location are great, and it's very family-friendly.
Super friendly staff who are always happy to do anything they can to assist (speaking from my experience of 50+ stays).
The Realm Suites are a very generous size and have a balcony, separate lounge and bedroom, and a small kitchenette and laundry.
There aren’t many in-room amenities but if you call housekeeping they’ll bring you essentials like toothbrushes, razors, etc.
The room service menu is ok...

The room was spacious and bed big and comfortable. The view was right to the pool area. The pool was heated nice and warm, big gym with great selection of equipment . The breakfast was good, but the coffee included was nothing special no barista coffee.
There was a misundesstood at the beginning. Thanks to the manager(?) for his help and uderstanding. Issue resolve immediately.
Thanks for the free breakfast. We didnt eat much because my children just underwent their oral surgery.
This is the second time we have stayed here and it was a last minute decision.
Location was great for the purpose of the visit to Canberra .
Staff were friendly and the room was clean, a little dated, but was nice enough for a 1 night stay.
This hotel is super convenient! A shopping center called Maunka Terrace is just a 3-minute drive away, and it has Coles, Subway, and McDonald's. There were also Japanese, Italian, pub food, and other Asian restaurants in that area.

Very reasonable room for the price, Would book again. Spa facilities were a bonus.

Just 3 minutes walking distance from the airport. It is excellent for early morning flights.
Convenient location, but needs to lift its standards
Stayed one night at Vibe Canberra ahead of an early flight, so reliability mattered. For the most part, the room delivered the basics well; spacious, comfortable bed, TV, fridge, and a decent bathroom. A solid enough base for a short stay.
However, the cleanliness left something to be desired. Crumbs on the bedroom floor and mould in the shower...
Hotel is very unique inside with open central atrium rooms built around outside. Walk to canberra airport. Parking underneath at good price. Rooms are spacious great bar and food area downstairs. Staff were great easy check-in
Great hotel adjacent to the airport. Short walk down after arrival or prior to departure, if required to stay in Canberra. Rooms have all been well prepared and modern. Service is very friendly and the food good. Especially enjoy the buffet breakfast.
The food options aren't great, but everything else is fantastic. Very nice place to stay if you are looking for a overnight place from the airport

Fully equipped with enough kitchen including cooking tools that I have even cooked with ingredients from Cole’s, so you could literally stay as usual as you are in your home.
Had a good sleep here. Bed was comfy and room nice and quiet. There was no soap in the shower unfortunately. The one window winder was broken. Just one night but decent place to stay.
Our stay at the Burberry Hotel was spot on. Moses looked after us and genuinely went above and beyond, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The location is great too, plenty of really nice restaurants just across the street, and the hotel amenities are well kept and comfortable. It’s one of those places you’d happily come back to, and we’re already talking about another Canberra trip...
We checked in late for an overnight stay. Rooms were clean and huge! I think because of the room size, the aircon had trouble cooling it down. We woke up a few times in the night due to the warmness of the room. Opened the doors at one point to let the outside colder air in around 2am. Otherwise an overall pleasant stay with a great breakfast selection!
a very comfortable and nice hotel for driver, we should have stayed more days!
We stayed in the one bedroom appartments and it was perfect accommodation. Clean warm and high end. The best accommodation we’ve found in Canberra.

I’m looking forward to returning soon to enjoy another luxurious stay; the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive.
Very pleasant. Clean comfortable room. Staff friendly. Plenty of parking. Easy tram ride to the city centre
Central and ideal place to stay to access everything we needed. Added bonus being close to a tram station.
Very friendly staff in every area. Spent a lovely few hours Valentine's evening having a few drinks and bar snacks near the water feature. Room was very comfortable and clean. Verry happy with our stay and will definitely be choosing and recommending the Pavilion for future Canberra visits.
This place is great. The atmosphere is calm and the central garden area a charm. The food is great and the menu adequate. It feels like a little resort inside with the central bar and outside pool. The buffet breakfast is great value. The rooms are not big but well appointed. Close to tram stops and 15mins from the airport. Would stay again
Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable BUT you couldn't adjust the temperature of the air con. I had it on the lowest setting but was way too hot to sleep. Didnt like that I had to step up into a bath to take a shower (I am 66 with back problems). Dinner was lovely but a bit overpriced.
We stayed here for couple of nights. The front desk staff is polite and warm. They helped us change the room promptly when we found our room was right above the parking gate which makes a lot of noise when cars come in/go out.

What a beautiful hotel, amongst the more corporate looking buildings around it. The hotels decor captures the history and essence of the building . Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kurrajong Canberra. The hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort beautifully. The restaurant was great for dinner and drinks as well as breakfast. The room was stylish and comfortable, the service was warm and professional, and the location was perfect for exploring Canberra. A peaceful, elegant place to stay — I’d happily return!

Great value hotel in a great location. Nothing to fault
Great location, very friendly staff, and great rooms.
Great hotel, we went in off season for sporting event nearby but is convienient for Kingston eateries and a nearby supermarket is there
It’s in the Kingston precinct of Canberra, close to the Kingston shops, the foreshore dining areas and a short walk to Manuka. It offers spacious serviced apartments (studios, 1-bed, 2-bed) with kitchenettes/laundries in many units — ideal if you like having more space and flexible room setup.
Wonderful stay, love the 15% discount at Vilinapod restaurant
Nice hotel with good vibes. Location of bus stop into the city is a stone throw away and Brookside shopping mall is just 5 mins walk.

It offers free parking as well, which was very good. It was very quiet.
The location is also really good, you’re literally close to anywhere in Canberra!
There were some positives, but several aspects of my stay fell below expectations for the price.
Room privacy
My room was connected to another via an internal door with very limited sound insulation. Noise from the adjacent room was clearly audible, which reduced comfort and privacy.

Clean, tidy
Bed was comfortable.
Room was very clean although smelt like a dirty nappy when we walked in. Had to keep spraying with air freshner. Bed very comfortable as always! Too much noise from interconnecting door....maybe look at some sort of seal. We usually stay here when visiting ACT as close to our family, and will continue to do so.
Somewhat underwhelming. We've stayed there before, but this experience has us questioning if we'll return.
Air con didn't work effectively
There were stains on some bedding
Car park was filled with litter
The room was spacious and the location was perfect for what I needed however the room just smelled. Not sure if it was the people who used the room before me or the general hygiene of staff but it was a distinct smell of body odour that just seemed to linger for the duration of my overnight stay.

We stayed at the Statesman Hotel in Curtin for one night and overall, had a positive experience. The room was nicely updated with modern furniture and furnishings, which gave it a fresh feel. We were very happy with our adjoining rooms. Staff very accommodating to any queries or needs.
Will stay again.
We can hear people next door talking as we were arranged to stay at a connecting room. The door crack is so wide that we can hear people next door talking which gives a sense of insecurity. It is suggested that the door crack should be fixed, for the privacy of people staying at the two rooms who do not know each other.

Spacious and clean. Quiet environment. Great amenities. Convenient to attractions.
Staff person at reception was really nice. Room was dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. Good Wi-Fi. It was good for one-night and was the cheapest accommodation I could find during Spilt Milk festival.
This is old conference centre and villas, long past upgrades. However, they are clean, comfortable and priced very reasonably.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (#279). The unit was very dirty. Mouldy curtains in one of the rooms, very dusty around the skirting and carpet. It hasn't had a proper clean in a very long time.
