We stay here every time when we are in Canberra. Loves the buffet breakfast and late check out. Used the gym and the ping pong table. Had a very relaxing stay, happy with everything and would come back again.

The location is very convenient, with many restaurants right outside the door. However, I didn't realize that hotels abroad don't provide slippers or similar amenities. Overall, it was pretty good. The outdoor pool didn't seem very clean, which was a bit disappointing for the kids.

My experience this time was extremely poor. There happened to be an event at the hotel, and there were only two staff members at the front desk, resulting in a very long check-in line. The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. Lovely place with a great manager. I stayed on Tuesday for work, and even though there was a blocked drain during the night, the staff handled it exceptionally well. They immediately changed my room and apologised the next morning, along with offering a complimentary service at checkout. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Fast becoming a a an outdated hotel. Superior king rooms are small. Do yourself a favpur and Book the 1bd apartment as it has more space.  Location is pretty good. The room was spacious and bed big and comfortable. The view was right to the pool area. The pool was heated nice and warm, big gym with great selection of equipment . The breakfast was good, but the coffee included was nothing special no barista coffee.

This hotel is super convenient! A shopping center called Maunka Terrace is just a 3-minute drive away, and it has Coles, Subway, and McDonald's. There were also Japanese, Italian, pub food, and other Asian restaurants in that area. Generally good, not noisy although by the side of airport. Parking is convenient and not expensive.

Fully equipped with enough kitchen including cooking tools that I have even cooked with ingredients from Cole’s, so you could literally stay as usual as you are in your home.

We checked in late for an overnight stay. Rooms were clean and huge! I think because of the room size, the aircon had trouble cooling it down. We woke up a few times in the night due to the warmness of the room. Opened the doors at one point to let the outside colder air in around 2am. Otherwise an overall pleasant stay with a great breakfast selection!

Central and ideal place to stay to access everything we needed. Added bonus being close to a tram station. Very friendly staff in every area. Spent a lovely few hours Valentine's evening having a few drinks and bar snacks near the water feature. Room was very comfortable and clean. Verry happy with our stay and will definitely be choosing and recommending the Pavilion for future Canberra visits.

This place is great. The atmosphere is calm and the central garden area a charm. The food is great and the menu adequate. It feels like a little resort inside with the central bar and outside pool. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable BUT you couldn't adjust the temperature of the air con. I had it on the lowest setting but was way too hot to sleep. Didnt like that I had to step up into a bath to take a shower (I am 66 with back problems). Dinner was lovely but a bit overpriced.

What a beautiful hotel, amongst the more corporate looking buildings around it. The hotels decor captures the history and essence of the building . Had a great stay. The front desk were very accomodating in assisting me extend my stay multiple times. Only thing that could be improved is a more frequent patrol of the hallways and property. Bins are overfilled and i think house keeping needs a more controlled schedule.

We can hear people next door talking as we were arranged to stay at a connecting room. The door crack is so wide that we can hear people next door talking which gives a sense of insecurity. It is suggested that the door crack should be fixed, for the privacy of people staying at the two rooms who do not know each other.

We had a great stay at The Statesman for a work stint in Canberra. The rooms were clean and comfortable, it’s close to everything and a really nice bar and restaurant downstairs. I was there on a Thursday and the place was buzzing with the meat raffle. Couldn’t fault the service.

This is old conference centre and villas, long past upgrades. However, they are clean, comfortable and priced very reasonably.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (#279). The unit was very dirty. Mouldy curtains in one of the rooms, very dusty around the skirting and carpet. It hasn't had a proper clean in a very long time. We have stayed at Sundown many times previously and it's never been this bad.
