Reviews
There were spider webs outside the windows, which discouraged us from opening them.
The toilet occasionally made unusual noises, possibly when guests in neighboring rooms flushed.
My father went swimming, but the locker would not open when he tried to get his clean clothes. We called the front desk for assistance. A staff member eventually came, but the interaction felt rather cold and lacked any sense of apology, despite the inconvenience my father experienced.
I changed rooms twice, yet both rooms had strange noises at night that sounded like cutlery hitting plates. The noise was intermittent but continued throughout the night and seriously affected my sleep. Despite reporting this to the staff, no clear explanation or effective solution was provided. I was only offered another room change or earplugs, which does not address the root cause of the issue.
In addition, there were maintenance problems in both rooms. In the first Room, the toilet seat did not properly fit the toilet bowl — it appeared mismatched and poorly installed, which felt very strange and unprofessional. In the second Room, the shower water pressure was insufficient.
I hope the hotel will take guest concerns about the nighttime noise seriously rather than simply brushing them off. As far as I know, I am not the only guest who has experienced this issue.
I stayed on Tuesday for work, and even though there was a blocked drain during the night, the staff handled it exceptionally well. They immediately changed my room and apologised the next morning, along with offering a complimentary service at checkout.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I will definitely visit again with my partner.

My overall review:
I should have trusted the customer reviews mostly 1-3 stars, not the name value of Hyatt.
My recommendation:
If you are reading this, opt out and go somewhere else. Your money will be better spent elsewhere (you can easily to 2course dinner incl seafood main else where for this price)
Service:
Most of the staff were quite novice and seemed very new/ nervous about what they are doing.
Sophie at the counter (the first person you are greeted by and the last person you see when paying bill) had this weird ego in her attitude and was ingenuine in her customer service. Not a good first impression nor last impression.
The two combined, very awkward, floaty and uncomfortable atmosphere and service.
I made 2 phone calls for my reservation to ensure I get ideal sitting for my mother with limited mobility. upon arrival, we found no reserved for us, but instead they just sat us at any table. When asked about my special request for more accessible table, the answer I got from Sophie "but we havent got anything recorded for you" (not my fault is it?), and just looked at me and waited for me to sit at this table i didnt want to be sitted at. no apology until I implied that I need to be apologised for this.
Just really strange kind of service.
Food:
Their hot food selection is good, and salad variety was good. Tap water only incl in your $75 buffet (no filtered water or tea). Seafood on offer was prawns (good), oysters (okay, small, ive had better at other seafood buffets), crabs (served cold, must be low quality and frozen, almost tasteless)
Cheese section was messy, cheese not replenished, dried up cheese pieced just lying around on the board.
Deserts are quite good, but the desert counter disgustingly unclean. The ice cream scoop holder looked like it hasnt been changed all day (a cheap chinese buffet i went to in usa did better than that)
