Reviews
After refunding my deposit, the hotel charged my card again without my authorization. When I called to ask about the charge, they first claimed that we did not check out at the required time. This is incorrect — we had an early morning flight and left the hotel very early.
Later, they changed their explanation and said the room was too dirty. However, I was never informed of any cleaning policy or additional cleaning fees, and they provided no evidence to justify the extra charge.
In total, they charged nearly 100 AUD without proof or permission. This behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
I strongly recommend that others avoid booking this hotel.
The apartment was very disappointing in terms of cleanliness and basic maintenance. There was a red blood stain on the bed sheet, dust on the nightstand and tables, and the lamp on the balcony was not working. The kitchen equipment was in poor condition — all frying pans were badly scratched and unusable.
The Wi-Fi was terrible, disconnecting every 2–3 minutes, which made it impossible to work or even browse normally.
Check-in was a mess. The reception only appeared at 9:20, and during online check-in no one responded for a long time or explained what to do. Trip.com support had to step in and help. Finding the address was also unnecessarily difficult because there are two different buildings with the same name.
Sleeping was uncomfortable: the curtains let in a lot of light, so it’s hard to get proper rest. The washing machine is also a serious issue — even though 30°C was selected, it washed with hot water and ruined my clothes.
There were also serious safety and comfort issues. The lock on the entrance door was broken - to secure the door, it had to be locked from the inside, which felt unsafe and inconvenient
