YHA Adelaide Central in Adelaide

The hotel boasts spacious rooms and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is very comfortable, and I particularly liked the kitchen being open for 20 hours, allowing guests to cook whenever they please. The only downside is the lack of privacy; I'd suggest installing curtains or blinds around each bed for better seclusion.

The room was clean, and the sheets and duvet covers were fresh (you have to put them on yourself, which is fine). The kitchen was huge, and the hostel is right in the city center. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and detailed in helping me resolve issues quickly. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very clean and tidy. But next to the hotel, there was some kind of club and it was very loud and noisy outside. I couldn't sleep well. But staff and location were good.

This is a really good hotel. The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. The toaster was also a lifesaver. Laundry is available for a fee. The room's floor was a carpet-like material, which was nice and clean! I also appreciated that there were no bugs. And of course, there's Wi-Fi! I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing time in YHA Adelaide. The vibe is very social though unforced and the common room is big and lets many people sit at one table and make easy conversation. The kitchen was very clean and big. There were lots of rooms to hang out in or work in peace and quiet.
The hostel is only 3 floors so the vibe is much more intimate and less anonymous than most hostels.

There is a park right across from the door and a grocery store 5 mins away.
Absolutely adore this place

Really welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan.

The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned.

The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking.

The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away.

Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

Nice hostel in central Adelaide, with friendly reception and a great kitchen and communal vibe. The rooms are spacious enough for all your stuff, and beds are comfortable. Had a good time, though it is fairly expensive for what it is.

Everything was just as expected!

I stayed here for one night as a stopover and was really satisfied. I even wished I could have stayed an extra day.
The common areas were pleasant and kept very clean, and it was convenient having a large supermarket nearby.

Fantastic location in the city centre close to transport and services.
Clean, comfortable and well maintained rooms and great value.
Property is very well managed and looks after guests.
Have stayed a few times and will again.
