Alpenhotel Wurzer in Filzmoos

Spent 6 nights at the Alpenhotel Wurzer and absolutely loved it! It was a great base to explore the stunning area around Filzmoos. The hotel has a lovely dining and bar area that are tastefully decorated and candlelit in the evenings. There’s a large terrace with plenty comfortable seating and some beautiful views. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom well laid out.

Shout out to the staff who were hardworking and incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was such a pleasure to come ‘home’ after a day out hiking. The food, (breakfast and dinner), were of a good quality and the Hugo spritzes, delicious!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel - we had the best experience

It was my second time at Alpenhotel Wurzer-amazing place! Hotel is located in the heart of Filzmoos. Rooms are immaculately clean. When it comes to breakfast- excellent selection of food and high quality of products. Family-run hotel that you can feel as though you were at home :) very very friendly host that cares about guests’ comfort and makes sure that you have everything u need. Just love this place and I highly recommend it! I hope to be back soon :)

A lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, great food and welcoming staff. We had a nice enjoyable relaxing time exploring this mountain area guided by advice from the owner Patrick. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel in a great skiing location with the most amazing staff. I enjoyed every second of my stay and I can't wait to go back again during the next skiing season. The food was great, the rooms were well kept, always clean and very modern and everything at a more than fair price. Definitely recommending this place to whoever to all of my friends and family and anyone who comes across this review.

My wife and I have been travelling quite a bit with out daughter and without a doubt this may have been one of if not the best family vacation we have ever had.

We met some friends here as well and were given a list of things to do from one of the hotel staff and everything did somehow was better than the last.

The hotel itself is in the perfect location. There is a room to store gear so your not dragging it into and through your room. There are ski hills and rental shops all within walking distance. Food, bars, and an after ski spot again all within a 5 minute walk. Right across the street is a beautiful house that has a restaurant inside and offers carriage rides up the mountain to a secluded restaurant and if your reading this you have to do the carriage ride. It is an absolute must.

Oh and it includes breakfast and dinner. And this isn't some holiday inn continental meal. The dinner quality is better than most restaurants, serious gourmet quality stuff that left all of us still talking about it weeks later.

We are already planning our next trip around coming back here and doing it all again.

Really great 3 star hotel with family flair and the owners are personally very concerned about the guests. Very good food. 3 menus to choose from. Sufficient breakfast and very nice comfortable rooms. Definitely recommended for a relaxing holiday for the whole family!

Fantastic hotel to stop in, we stopped for a week during the summer, very clean, excellent food and wonderful host, at a very good price, would we go again ? every year if we could
