Great Austrian hotel with beautiful buildings and great restaurant at a gorgeous location. You can spend your holidays here during the whole year and it is a good option for businesses meetings. The personnel was doing their job fast and professionally but more smile and friendliness would be even better.

Our stay at Hotel Pichlmayrgut was fantastic. The hotel is beautifully located in the mountains, with comfortable, stylish rooms and a relaxing wellness area perfect after a day on the slopes.

A big highlight was the convenient ski shuttle to the mountain lifts, making skiing easy and stress-free. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We had an amazing experience and would gladly return — highly recommended!

From the outside, the hotel is absolutely beautiful — almost fairytale-like, reminiscent of The Grand Budapest Hotel. However, the interior tells a completely different story. It feels more like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on mescaline — nothing makes sense, and nothing matches anything else.
There are old carpets everywhere, countless lamps with fake plastic “candles,” and poorly done ceiling decorations trying to imitate neo-baroque. There are clumsy fake marble paintings, and the furniture has no logic or coherence at all. The curtains are absurd, and there are plastic windows in an otherwise beautiful metal relaxation area after the spa.
The outdoor saunas are lovely, but the interior design is a chaotic clash of styles. The artificial stone and “cave” effects are pure kitsch. And the window from the bathroom into the bedroom makes no sense — you can clearly see someone showering, which is extremely uncomfortable.

We were overall very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The hotel charmed us with its pleasant atmosphere and truly very kind staff who were always helpful. I also must highlight the excellent food, which was of a high standard.

The only minor downside was the fact that there was no bottled water provided in the room. Other than this detail, however, everything was perfectly fine and we enjoyed our stay

Stayed here with my family for a 7 day skiing vacation over New Year‘s.

The Hotel offers a Shuttle that drives every 15min and drops you off right at the lift and it also picks you up later. They spa/wellness area is amazing and offers a variety of Saunas. The breakfast buffet is great and has plenty of options to chose from but the dinner is the highlight. Every night they offer a 3 course menu with options to chose from that changes daily + a salad bar including bread, cheese and fruits.

They also have a gym, tennis court and much more - so if you‘re like me, wanting to work out even while on vacation this is the perfect spot for you.

And don‘t even get me started on New Year‘s. They had a full 7 course gourmet dinner, a DJ, fireworks and then after midnight brought out a full buffet including fresh oysters, carpaccio, a full parmesan wheel and a pig‘s head!!!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the place is family owned and operated. Highly recommend this place.

We were a family of 8 adults and 2 children ages 5,8. We stayed 9 nights at this exquisite friendly welcoming hotel, friendly family style with wonderful cooperative staff , super nice. Spacious clean rooms with all facilities. Two pools, outdoor &Indoor, big gym, Children’s playroom with supervision A big dining room were the staff has set us a table for the 10 of us which was priceless, it was so cozy it made our Breakfast and Dinners special not to mention the meals.. A big buffet with a great variety of delicious food and for Dinner apart the Buffet there was an option between meat fish and a vegetarian meal. The location was the best, so many attractions around us suitable for families. We definitely recommend this lovely Hotel.

The Pichlmayrgut is a monument of Schladming, where one can inly guess the size since a fair amount of the facility lies underground. The Spa-Area is very large and offers countless options to bathe and relax, although it could use some renovations here and there. The room was nice and adequate, the personnell was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the dinner a lot, but even more the both leaxing and energizing night's sleep afterwards. Definitely a recommendation.

The hotel is really nice , the rooms from modern up to Austrian style . We only went two days there for a short couple holiday. First night we had strange sounds coming from an other room or place in the house , after talking 2 Times to the night service - which is the owner he came and gave us a different room . We had to move at 00.30 in the morning cause we could not sleep with the sound happening every hour. The owner was not really happy that he had to come , cause he was on a big festival where he had some duty. Not really a sorry more an excuse - you came in a busy weekend - why did you not tell earlier - almost like making you feel bad for calling him . I had better service from his staff than him . The room was an upgrade but the whole way it was handled was not really customer - first like . Short two days with a disappointing first day weak excuses . The food and service in the restaurant is good - from 20.30 on now one is on the reception and you have to call a number if there is a problem , which I did a number of times and did not get straight away someone . It was nice but I would not more go there because of the experience we had with the owner at night . Sad and not soo good first time experience, I am a business owner too , I would not treat my customers like that .
