Kinder-Bauernhof Ederbauer in Flachau

Very nice appartment with the most lovely hosts. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning. The accomodation also had a bubble bath and an infrared sauna which we used frequently to relax after a day of skiing. The only downgrade was the ski bus, which arrived quite late in the morning so we weren't able to catch the first ride of the ski lift (we are pretty keen about catching it). Other than that, the place was amazing! Would definitely recommend.

But that's not meant in a negative way. Let me try to explain... We were lucky enough to spend our first, and certainly not our last, vacation at the Ederbauer farm. We've never experienced such a beautiful farm before. We'll cherish the memories of the animals, the incredibly beautiful surroundings, and the warm and welcoming Winter family with Lois, Lisi, and the other lovely people for a very long time. Our two children, ages 8 and 6, grew so much, both physically and mentally, during that week. We could let them play on the farm without any worries. They made friends immediately. There was something to discover everywhere: cats, cows, ducks, horses, the adorable pig, jumping into the hay in the hayloft, helping in the barn...

Everything was just perfect. The meadow in front of the house seemed endless. The opportunities for the kids were just as vast. They were able to ride along on the tractor and experience everyday farm life firsthand. My heart still swells with joy as I write this, remembering standing on the balcony, watching my children play with other kids, and the beautiful mountainous landscape stretching out before me. I could write about it forever…

The Mediterana apartment was a dream. A perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. The infrared sauna was a constant companion throughout my entire vacation. The bathroom was lovely, and the bedrooms resembled a charmingly decorated hobbit hole. Absolutely cozy.

The kitchen had everything you could possibly need!

The view was amazing!

This was by far one of the best vacations we've ever had.

And for that, we want to thank the Winter family from the bottom of our hearts.

Our family spent a week on the farm and it was truly wonderful. The whole Winter family is incredibly kind and welcoming. All our expectations for a farm holiday were met. Everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, could help with the daily chores (mucking out, feeding, milking). The children could jump from the hayloft into the hay, ride ponies, and ride along with Alois on the tractor. The farm is also in a fantastic location. Alois and Lisi are truly wonderful people, and we will definitely be back next year!

I highly recommend the Winter family and their farm. They're a fantastic place with friendly owners. They organize activities for guests. They offer alpine huts for use during gatherings. They have a ski room and boot dryer. You can order bread rolls, eggs, and milk from them. You can park your car in the garage, so you don't have to clear snow or scrape the windows in the morning. The farm is situated on a hill, offering a beautiful view of Altenmarkt and the Dachstein. I highly recommend it.

Despite the rather unfavorable weather (snow in September), we had a wonderful week on the farm. Lois and Lisi are incredibly warm and friendly hosts, and you immediately feel at home.

We especially loved the perfectly equipped kitchen and the sauna in the apartment. From the second day onward, we were allowed to take full responsibility for the care and feeding of the animals, which was simply fantastic.

The farm's location is amazing. We went on an excursion every morning and then spent the afternoon relaxing on the farm. Lois always had helpful tips for activities for us.

The farm is beautifully situated. The warmth of the owners is great. We have been coming there for years, feel very comfortable and at home. It doesn't matter whether it's curling in a relaxed atmosphere, or simply relaxing after a day's skiing. It left nothing to be desired. The children have fun tobogganing on the local mountain or in the stable with the animals and we parents enjoy the amenities of the apartment and the great mountain panorama. In the morning there is even a bread delivery service. Live like God in Austria. Kind regards, the Post family

We stayed in the city and only went up for the view. But we really liked this accommodation and the playground around it. The view of the city and Dachstein is amazing.

Very friendly owners.
Apartment warm and clean.
Kitchen equipment was very well equipped.
Possibly a new coffee machine in the pony apartment and chair cushions for the wooden chairs would be a suggestion on my part.
Otherwise a dream.
This holiday accommodation is fantastically beautiful. Silence, view and still central.
Can just be recommended.

We spent a very nice family holiday here a few years ago. The children felt comfortable on the farm and were allowed to move freely and safely everywhere. Wonderful area for great hikes. We met new friends. The Winter family made all of this possible. Many thanks!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature and animals. Ideal for relaxing, recovering but also as a starting point for hikes and bike tours. Every day fresh milk, eggs & rolls directly from the farm. Very hospitable farming family who personally take care of the guests and children. The hit for all children is tractor driving and pony riding, as well as helping out in the stable!
We would like to come again!
