Food is below level of McDonalds. The service at the ”restaurants” is awful. Forgetting dishes. When we tried to book their famous steak house, it was fully booked up for 5 days ahead and the lady on the phone laughed us off as trying to book last minute.
Save your money and choose any other hotel.
If i had to point out my favourite thing during the stay it would definitely be the ice bathing, I have really enjoyed it! It is really not common for the hotel to have this option 😁
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food and drinks also fit the standard you'd expect.
But the best part are the bike activities on offer.
Where else do you get guidance from someone who was a professional in the field of track and get more than enough laughs on top of it? 😁
The bikes you can rent fit the need for the ambitious hobby biker.
For truly high end you'd probably bring your own bike anyways.
All in all we had a lovely couple of days and I can honestly recommend the Funsport-, Bike- and Skihotel Tauernhof for you as well!!
What can be improved is the breakfast area. It is really small when the hotel is full. Also it would be great to offer some more eggs in the cheffing dishes. You have to wait in line to get them prepared by chef.
In general this is very nice place and we will consider to come back next year.
