Das Edelweiss offers excellent wellness facilities and a very relaxing atmosphere overall. The pool areas are particularly impressive, with several beautifully maintained spaces to unwind. The 25-meter pool is a real highlight: perfectly clean, at a very comfortable temperature, and ideal both for proper swimming and relaxation even when snowing!. The surrounding relaxation zones are also very pleasant and calm, making it easy to spend long periods there without feeling crowded. In general, the spa and pool facilities are clearly the hotel’s strongest features and are maintained in excellent condition. There are, however, several aspects that could be improved. The restaurant concept would benefit from a complete rethink. The dining room feels very dark, with a heavy use of black tones and a rather low ceiling that creates quite a bit of background noise. Tables are placed very close to each other, which reduces the sense of comfort and privacy, and the buffet area is also poorly lit, making it less appealing than it could be. At dinner, the soups were consistently too salty everyday! In the rooms, a few practical details could also be refined. There is no conditioner available in the shower, which feels like a basic amenity for a hotel of this category. The shower also had an occasional drain smell, and the bathroom overall could benefit from a bit more refinement in its finishes and details it starting to feel dated. Housekeeping did not always replenish the water or minibar during the stay, which was surprising. The lighting system in the room is probably one of the most problematic aspects: it is quite confusing and not user-friendly. We just keep clicking everything to get some basic function. In addition, on a few occasions the housekeeping staff left the window open without closing the curtains, which is not ideal for privacy and temperature control. Bottle of water priced at 8 euros at dinner is absurd. Overall, while the wellness facilities are truly excellent, some operational and design details in the restaurant and rooms should be improved to better match the level of the property.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, we felt that we were best taken care of by all the members of the personell. Actually we were spoiled. The hotel conditions and facilities are above all expectations, the children had their own activities in the 4 Playrooms. The food in the restaurants was amazing, Michelin style. Even tough the hotel is huge, the wood and stone design was impressing, everything felt so cozy,

This is a truly fantastic hotel. The staff are totally committed to making everything perfect, even the family owners take the time to introduce themselves and check that you are having a great stay. The facilities are outstanding, from the rooms, restaurants, bars, to the incredible spa area, are world class! This is a master class in how a luxury mountain hotel should be and I can’t wait to visit again!

Very disappointing experience – lack of responsibility and poor value During our stay at the hotel, jewelry was stolen directly from our room, including my diamond engagement ring. This was an extremely upsetting experience. The hotel took no responsibility whatsoever and showed no real interest in helping or addressing the situation. We contacted the police, but unfortunately that also did not lead to any resolution. Beyond this serious issue, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was not good and absolutely not worth the very high prices charged by the hotel. Due to the lack of security, accountability, and poor value for money, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Wow, this hotel is something. The breakfast buffet and dinner service is incredible, as were all of the kids activities. Our 9 year old had a blast on the slides and in the kids/teens rooms. The outdoor pools are quite something.

We hope to be able to come back during ski season to enjoy the ski in/out options!
