Hotel Rigele Royal Superior in Obertauern

Our stay at the Hotel Rígele Royal was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, impeccable service, and genuine care, making it incredibly difficult to face our upcoming departure.
Our arrival was seamless, thanks to Christian's welcoming presence. He efficiently guided us through the hotel's amenities and operations, personally escorting us and our luggage to our room. The room itself was absolutely perfect – immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed, even including a delightful welcome bar of chocolate. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, promising restful nights, and the shower room was equally impressive. We particularly appreciated the well-considered soundproofing between the shower room and toilet, ensuring privacy within the space. Our balcony became a cherished spot, where we enjoyed the stunning views both in the peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings.
Opting for the half-board was a fantastic decision. We loved the personal touch of having the same table reserved for us throughout our stay. The dining experience was exceptional, with a fresh buffet of salads, cheeses, and bread complementing the carefully curated daily menu that we pre-ordered. The entire restaurant team deserves high praise for their attentiveness and dedication to making meal times a pleasure. A special thank you must go to Janis, whose wine knowledge and recommendations were consistently outstanding. We also want to acknowledge Theo, whose warm welcome and consistently happy and positive energy brightened our days. His daily recommendations for slopes and alpine bars truly enhanced our excursions, making them even more exciting and memorable. Phillip and Alex also deserve recognition for their exemplary and attentive service.
The bar at the Rígele Royal is another highlight. Maxe and Bruno are true professionals, impressing us with their passion, extensive drink knowledge, and exceptional service. They consistently crafted perfect drinks and added to the enjoyable atmosphere of the hotel.
What truly sets the Rígele Royal apart is its incredible team. They are a genuinely dedicated and close-knit group, creating a personal and welcoming atmosphere that felt like a true home away from home. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in every interaction.
The location of the hotel is also ideal, offering convenient access to the slopes and shops of Obertauern.

amazing place with great food and service and childern friendly ..

Hi, we have recently returned from a truely lovely week at the Rigele Royal in Obertauern. We went with anotter family so we were a party of 8 in total which some hotels struggle with. We were accommodated together in 4 double rooms on the same floor which was perfect for our clan, giving both independence but close locality with suited us perfected. The hotel is something for everyone, both quiet in places and a more lively atmosphere around the bar area. I couldn't fault the service, nothing was too much trouble to the lovely staff, in the restaurant, reception, bar and the maids. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The ski boot room is accessible internally using a lift and directly to the street. its then a very short walk to either a ski slope or ski lift. Also close by for those that want it are apres ski which we enjoyed. The food was excellent and we were half board, the staff were amazing and very attentive. There were 3 choices of 4/5 course menu per day. Regional, Gourmet or healthy. The children could eat off this or help themselves to the extensive kids buffet. Honestly probably the best half board food I've had. A particular surprise was on the odd night we ate out a discount was applied to our bill, also a first for me. We will be back next season

Excellent hotel. We stayed for five days. All facilities are at a high level. The staff is very helpful, the food is excellent... It is not a ski in/out hotel but the ski lifts are very close. Maybe about 100 meters. We hope to come back again soon

Probably the best hotel I've ever been to. It's location is great, just next to the slopes. The staff is super friendly, both at the dinner and the bartenders. Both breakfasts and dinners were amazing, and the SPA area was also nice.

The hotel is a great complex solution for relax and sport combined with exceptional food. We could not expect more, but we got more. Professional communication, warm hospitality and effort to help customer, classy service starting from personel helping with luggage from garrage, across bar tenders and waiters and reception desk staff. If the owners of the hotel are proud of the hotel employees, then it is the most right thing. Congratulation and thanks!

Very nice hotel, just a little 2 minutes walk from Gamsleitenbahn I or the slope to the Edelweissbahn. Great breakfast, afternoom snack, and gourmet-like dinner. The staff is amazing. Been here 3 times already! Underground parking also provided. The rooms are clean and well equipped.

Pleasantly surprised here. Staff was great, I only wish they had shoveled our balcony, the view would have been so nice out there.
