Banyan Hotel in St. Anton

We stayed here via Crystal, just before Christmas 2025 and its a nice hotel. It's a good 10min walk away from Galzigbahn slightly up hill though, this is the ONLY way to get there. so carrying skis there were a few grumbles in our party 🤣 Still it's perfectly located for going to Spar or the nightclub or the 'best bar' in town after you've finished après. Everything is easily walkable here anyway (unless there's a shed load more snow than we had, which isnt hard) Theres a nice restaurant across the road and another on the same side in the hotel on dortstrasser to the left as you exit the driveway. Turning right takes you straight into the village.

The guys on reception were very helpful as were the people at the buffet breakfast, which was very nice each day, as long as you got there before the greedy family who took all the pain au chocolate and piled them up on their own table only to leave a load of them 😤

The spa and the bar are both ok .. the spa having more to it really. The one gripe we had was the boot room as in the video. Plenty of space but no heating on any of the boot rails which left 2 mornings having to sort boarder boots out or inners out.

The strange thing in the hotel is that all the paintings are in Chinese and some of them are then upside down too.

The ground floor twin rooms are easy and great for getting in and out and down to breakfast without the small hotel lift, but don't take room #1 as its right next to the main door. The view isnt that good from them though (see pics) but no-one spends much time in the room anyway so it was all good for us.

If you buy any bottles or cans at Spar, don't forget to take them back for the deposits. 👏

We spent a week here as a couple for a skiing trip in early March. The hotel is perfectly located centrally between the two main gondolas. We chose to use the Galzig lift for ski and boot storage, but you can also ski down to the other main gondola and then get back up so that you dont have to walk through St Anton with skis and boots. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a south facing balcony that was perfectly appointed, and quiet. We would recommend as we were able to relax on the deck chairs at either end of the day. The only thing missing from the rooms is a fridge which I did mention to reception. The hotel is B and B only but has a nice relaxing bar with a fire for the end of the day, Breakfast was never too busy and has a really good selection of hot and cold foods. The reception team were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel has a small pool and sauna, that again was a nice feature for resting ski legs at the end of the day. We would recommend this hotel for a skiing holiday.

Stayed here last week with a group of friends Very impressed with the hotel , staff were excellent polite friendly and helpful, good quality buffet breakfast served with lots of choice’s rooms were of a decent size and beds comfortable, spa and swimming facilities were great and a boot room in the basement would happily return here again .

Good middle of town location. Mid way between galzig and nasserein lifts and right by the Spar supermarket! Rooms really clean and well appointed. We had 2 rooms together with our kids and it worked really well. Nice bar area. Lovely pool area Sauna and steam rooms get going mid afternoon for your after ski relax! Breakfast was consistent and delicious. Nice touch to set it up a bit earlier on the day of departure. Staff all v friendly and chatty, made us feel v welcome. Overall a great stay. We were a group of 12 in total - 5 adults and 7 children.

Cracking hotel, well located, clean and modern with good sized, well presented rooms, excellent pool and wellness facilities, well stocked and varied breakfast with hot and cold food, friendly staff. Would definitely return here.

Great hotel, located a minute outside the town, great service, lovely rooms, pool, sauna and steam room are a bonus, lovely bar, great friendly staff, plenty of choice for breakfast. Highly recommend

Hotel is in very beautiful village. We adored. Breakfast was so delicious. I advise this hotel to everyone. Everything was perfect
