Surroundings: The surroundings are great for hiking or skiing. Rooms: The toilet is separate, there's a constant unpleasant odor, and the ventilation is very loud. The ventilation in the bathroom is also very loud, and the radiator didn't work. The rooms were thinly soundproof; you could hear the cleaning ladies' conversations from 8 a.m. onwards. The room itself was old and didn't match the online pictures. What was particularly unpleasant was that the temperature couldn't be regulated, and it was much too hot at night. Hotel, Wellness: The routes within the hotel are very long and inconvenient. The reception, the restaurant, and the old rooms are in the main building, while the wellness area is in the new building. To get from the reception to the wellness area, you have to use three elevators and walk through long corridors, which is very inconvenient. It's especially unpleasant to walk around the cold corridors in your bathrobe. The wellness area doesn't open until 7 p.m. and is only open from 11 a.m. onwards. One positive aspect was that the wellness area was empty during the day. Most guests are out and about during the day and don't arrive at the hotel until around 5 p.m. The wellness area is spread over several floors, but everything is very small and not particularly appealing. On the top floor there are two relaxation rooms which are very small and the many window frames somewhat spoil the view. It is also a bit chilly here. One floor below is the fitness studio. One floor below is the sauna area (steam room, 90° sauna and 60° sauna) as well as the restrooms and a water and tea dispenser. One floor below is the outdoor pool. The pool is an absolute highlight; it is nice and warm and the panorama is beautiful. There are also loungers available here, although it is of course not quiet. Dinner was very good. However, intolerances are not catered for here (not even asking at reception). The gala dinner on Sunday featured a 6-course menu. The food was very tasty, but you cannot choose. This is difficult for vegetarians or those with intolerances. Breakfast offered a good selection, but only the bare essentials. No salmon, no bacon, no fried sausages, or anything similar. The highlight here was the juicer. You could order scrambled eggs, omelets, etc., to your table, as well as coffee, etc. Unfortunately, you can't eat the afternoon snack in your bathrobe. So you have to go to your room beforehand and put on extra clothes. Furthermore, the afternoon dishes weren't labeled, which made choosing difficult. This, too, makes it difficult to accommodate those with intolerances. The afternoon selection was very limited. When checking out, you weren't asked if you were satisfied, which is a shame; they don't seem to value customer opinions. Overall, the stay was disappointing; I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It's probably ideal for skiers, but not so much for wellness seekers.
