Perfect location for a quick few days in Vienna. Right next to the opera house and very easy to get anywhere. Front desk is very responsive and helpful. Room was perfect, clean, tastefully decorated and safe.

Location is fantastic, 2 min walk to Albertina museum and metro. I had a single room and it was perfect for me. Wardrobe, coffee maker, bathtub. Check-in was easy and the staff were accommodating for my late check-in.

It must be a summer hotel; the rooms are freezing in winter. You need to sleep in thermal clothing. The electric solar panel isn't enough for the room. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 people caught colds from the cold. :( But the location is very good.

Thanks for the information. I absolutely disagree with your comment. We couldn't feel our arms because they were sticking out from under the duvet. We had to tuck our heads under the duvet to warm up. Maybe it was just bad luck. We stayed in other hotels after yours (it was -13 degrees outside) and I didn't leave a similar review for any of them. So, the problem was the coldness of the room.

Lovely hotel! The receptionist is a lovely gentleman. The room was for one person and was perfect. Perhaps slightly old fashioned but it has its charm. The location is fantastic, 2 min form the opera. Also there are cafes and restaurants in the street, which gives a lively feeling also at night. Would recommend this hotel to everybody. Also as a solo female traveller I was feeling comfortable and good.

The gate is locked, you ring the bell or use your key. You walk up the stairs and there you can find the hotel. Easy peasy!

We had a great 4-night stay here! Central location, extremely close to many points of interest and surrounded by great restaurants, but nevertheless quiet at night. Beautifully furnished and well-accommodated classic-style lodgings, good service, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds (but flat pillows), daily cleaning service, and good sized bath and water pressure. We stayed during a heat wave and there was a plug-in A/C unit that kept the room comfortable. Elevator is convenient.

Considerations: Internet was spotty but OK. We needed places to sit and work while our son slept in the room, but there is no real lobby, just scattered chairs and loveseats. The central location means that you are in a part of the city that caters to tourists, and this hotel in particular is RS-recommended, so expect high prices and an overall tourist-oriented feel in the nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. No kitchenette or fridge, but we were able to store a few items in the reception fridge.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Let me share my experience.

The only positive point is the location.

Everything else is completely worthless.

First, the facilities are outdated, the furniture is antique, and the photos are severely distorted.

Second, the room has no air conditioning, only a very loud air conditioner, making it impossible to sleep. After reporting this to the hotel, they simply told us to open the windows.

Third, the hygiene was poor, with a strong musty smell. On the second day, the balcony door was open, allowing small flies to fly in and bite me all over. I've attached a photo. I reported this to the hotel, but they just gave a perfunctory response, saying this had never happened before.

Fourth, when we booked the room, the parking fee was listed on the page as 15 euros per day. When I arrived on the evening of the 21st, the hotel was closed, so I parked on the street, which is free at night. At 10 a.m. on the 22nd, I parked in the hotel's designated underground parking lot, as requested by the hotel. They then told me to pay directly at the machine when I returned. However, when I left at 3 PM on the 23rd, the parking machine charged me 67.5 euros, an extra 37.5 euros. Here's a screenshot of my parking payment.

Fifth, the hotel was affordable. We booked a two-night stay for three people over two weeks in advance for nearly 4,000 yuan. Although Ctrip later covered the difference, this hotel was simply not worth it.

In short, this is a realistic review. I hope everyone will choose carefully.

Great location, it's a few minutes away from Opera theatre. Hotel seems a bit old, but the room was kept clean and staff were nice.

Good location, good price and very nice interior design. Would have given 5 stars had we not had a bad experience with the bellhop who put us in the wrong taxi after we paid for a limo with the hotel to take us to the airport, and after the limo driver presented himself at checkout - IN FRONT OF THE BELLHOP.

Had an outstanding time at this boutique hotel in August of 2021. The room was amazing and the hotel staff was able to get us last minute dinner reservations at choice restaurants. Fantastic service and couldn’t ask for anything more.

Best place to stay in Vienna, overlooking the Albertina and walking distance to nearly everything. The restaurant is amazing and the dedicated reading nook in the window was the perfect touch. A lot of thought went into this hotel and it shows!

This is a lovely hotel and the free wine is a great touch, just thought the photo art work around the hotel was a little bit of a strange choice. Some of it was a little disturbing. Would stay there again though.
