A beautiful location, very friendly staff, and excellent cuisine will make your stay unforgettable. The rooms are not very modern, but you will feel very comfortable. 100% recommended.

What a beautiful hotel! I visited it as part of an event. The location, with its lovely setting, very friendly service, and excellent food, is not just worth a visit, but a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic location with a beautiful view of Salzburg. Delicious food, clean rooms, friendly staff. It would be nice to have a guest charging station for electric cars in the parking lot. Fortunately, when asked, they offered a "temporary solution." Overall, everything was in order and provided a great experience.

This hotel is highly recommended! Those who drive should definitely not miss it, but those without a car shouldn't even consider it. It's located in the hills behind Salzburg, and in the evening, you can overlook the entire city. It's absolutely stunning. The hotel has its own Michelin-starred restaurant, which was closed on Sunday when we visited, but the breakfast was excellent. It's truly one of the two nicest breakfasts I've ever had (the top spot would probably go to Landhaus zu Appesch on Lake Wolfgang), but the value for money is still the best! The hotel also has an outdoor pool, and there's a flock of sheep and bees in the hills behind. I hooted at the sheep twice, and they roared at me, haha. You can lie on the grass in front of the hotel, read, drink beer, and bask in the sun. I wish there were more moments like this.

This mountaintop hotel has relatively small rooms, but the views and atmosphere are fantastic. It's perfect for self-drive travelers and is popular with foreigners. The cabins have a modern feel, a private vegetable garden, and a view overlooking Salzburg. The rooms are small, but the bathrooms are adequate. The main dinner was excellent and highly recommended.

Driving out of busy Salzburg up into the hills above to the Gersberg Alm we were greeted by a beautiful chalet with flowers, trees, & pastures. They have a full restaurant so we had a light lunch. They view down to Salzburg was so nice that we just stayed up in the hills rather than walk the city. Its only a short 10 minute drive to the city and you will do best with your own car. There is plenty of free parking. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with that view. This is family run hotel of the finest quality. Breakfast & dinners were of the best quality. The staff are all willing to help out. There isn't a lift but the staff was quick to help with luggage. This was a great place to stay.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with great views. The rooms are not big, and it is an old hotel with unique features, suitable for short-term stays.

Although the room is a bit old, it is warm and comfortable. Very quiet. I slept very well at night.

However, you need to rent a car and drive yourself, it is a 20-minute drive from the old town.
