Hotel Heffterhof in Salzburg

The air is fresh, it's clean, the breakfast is good, and parking is free. There's plenty of parking. It's a bit far from the city center, so I recommend it to those traveling by car. The balcony was also a nice touch.

The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are clean. It is located in a residential area and the surrounding area is very quiet. There is only one supermarket and almost no restaurants or shops. The breakfast is quite rich.

The location is slightly away from the city center, but the environment is very good, with green trees, fresh air, and there is a No. 6 bus directly to the four-star hotel in the city center. You can store luggage and communicate in English smoothly!

Nice room and shower in the hotel, breakfast was excellent and the staff stayed later than usual to allow us to check in in the evening. Please be warned the desk is not 24 hours so make sure you’d arrive in time for check in.

Although it's a bit far from the city, it's about 10 minutes away by tram, so it wasn't inconvenient at all.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable to stay in.

The hotel is a bit like an all-season hotel, clean and comfortable. There are lush sycamore trees outside the balcony. It is very comfortable to sit on the balcony with the fresh air blowing on your face. There is a bus stop at the door. If you drive by yourself, there is a free parking lot at the door of the hotel, which is also very convenient. It's a ten-minute drive from Salzburg Fortress, very close. Toiletries and slippers are not provided, you need to bring your own.

I write this review on the last day in my room at the Heffterhof Hotel in Salzburg. I started my stay here with my family on a tour, but got sick with COVID on the night we arrived. From the following day, as my family had to continue on back to our country, the Heffterhof Hotel staff cared for me like family.

From management to the front desk, from the kitchen to the cleaning staff, everyone pitched in and went out of their way to make my stay and recovery as comfortable as possible. This service required way more effort than the normal guest as I had no family there to help me. But they checked in on me and brought me food and drinks. They brought tissues and extra towels. They ordered food out for me when the kitchen was closed. Instead of being treated like someone in quarantine, I felt like a member of the family being helped back to health.

Customer service is always important in the hospitality business, but when things are going really badly for the guest, the kind of support I received at Heffterhof Hotel means everything to you.

Thanks so much to all the staff at Hoffterhof Hotel!

One of the best hotels I've ever been in Salzburg. Whilst it might seem like it is in the middle of nowhere, you are more than just able to reach the city center within less than 20minutes. Right next to the hotel is a bus stop and a bit further away a train station.
The hotel itself features very nice and clean rooms, a friendly staff and is all in all rather silent, even with the road right outside.

I really suggest this hotel for anybody searching for a nice room to sleep in, when visiting Salzburg.

This 'twas the hotel what I went and stayed in. It was very nice and clean and tidy and a bit smart. Nikki thought it was average at best, but it was clean which was something. Ben thought the bed was ok. Although he would have liked more time in it. On the hole a wonderful experience. There was a big in the lift on the floor when we went to use it on Wednesday night. Which was annoying at first but in the end did not effect the operational actions of the lift.
