I booked a breakfast included stay at Zach hotel. It's sad that it went way below expectations due to below highlights that could be reconsidered or improved..

- no mini bar / or at least kettle in a the family room.
- sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all.
- the main bed acclaimed to be a king was just two singles brought together, and they keep splitting every while.
- check out at 11.
- lobby closes at 21:00 every day.

Otherwise, it worth mentioning and praising the rooms cleanliness, and kindness of most of receptionists out there.
- they afford a city welcome card to use public transportation for free during two/ three days stay.
- very good breakfast with variety of fresh savory and fruits.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is excellent value for money and perfectly located in the city center, making it very easy to get around everywhere on foot. The breakfast was very good with a great variety of options, and the staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. I would especially like to congratulate the staff for their outstanding service and hospitality. Overall, I find this hotel excellent and truly value for money. As a small tip for improvement, it would be nice if slippers were provided in the room. Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed five nights at this hotel while traveling with our one-year-old twins.

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations we had.

The room was consistently very cold, with noticeable cold air coming through the windows. As there was no refrigerator available, we had to place baby food near the window to keep it cool, which was far from ideal when traveling with small children.

At night, significant noise from the street could be heard, including people shouting, which disrupted the sense of comfort we were hoping for.

The hotel presents itself as family-friendly, which influenced our decision to book. However, during breakfast we felt uncomfortable with how the normal eating behavior of our toddlers was addressed. While we fully understand the need to maintain shared spaces, the manner in which the situation was handled left us feeling judged rather than supported.

We made conscious efforts throughout our stay to minimize any inconvenience and be respectful guests.

We travel frequently as a family and have not encountered similar concerns elsewhere. It is therefore disappointing that this stay did not reflect the family-oriented atmosphere we expected.

This is not a complaint about comfort or service. This is about basic human safety. This hotel operates without any reception after 9:00 PM, with no on-site staff, no security, and no reliable emergency support overnight. I was informed of this only one hour before 9 PM on the day of arrival, when they messaged me that if I arrived late, the key would be left in an envelope at the entrance. My room was on the terrace level, meaning the moment you step outside, you are directly exposed to outdoor weather. Around midnight, with temperatures around −10°C, I briefly stepped outside for fresh air before sleeping. When I closed the door, I realized my key card and phone were locked inside. From that moment, I was effectively trapped outside in freezing temperatures. I knocked on neighboring rooms. Thankfully, another guest was staying on that floor. She checked the hotel building — there was absolutely no one on duty. Because I had no phone, she helped me call the hotel’s listed “emergency number” repeatedly — no one answered. She then helped me contact the police, who told us they could not intervene. At that point, my only option was to leave the property in sub-zero weather and walk across the area checking multiple hotels until finally finding one with an available room. Every other nearby hotel had 24/7 staffed reception. This one did not. Worse: once you exit, the property has one-direction security gates. Without the electronic key, you cannot re-enter. If no other guest had been staying on that floor, I would have been alone, without a phone, locked outside in −10°C winter conditions. The next day, I confronted management. The manager and owner showed no concern for guest safety and blamed me entirely, saying: “If you know we do not have night reception, you should choose another hotel.” They refunded only half of one night, despite the fact that I never stayed that night and had to pay for emergency accommodation elsewhere. There was no apology, no compensation, and no acknowledgment of the risk involved. This is not a minor inconvenience. Their negligence created a life-threatening situation and shows a shocking disregard for human life. What happened was not just bad service — it was a serious safety failure that could have easily ended in tragedy. I strongly advise anyone who values their personal safety to avoid this hotel completely.

Hotel is located near innsbruck train station. The buffet is very good. Stayed 2 nights. Near the old town and a shopping centre. The staff are good and friendly. Stayed in the large family room and had a good rest.

Had a lovely stay in central Innsbruck. Hotel staff at reception and breakfast room were always super friendly, obliging and helpful. Room for a family of four was nicely appointed and comfortable. Didn't get a view of the alps as we had a first floor room but it was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommended hotel.

Unfortunately can't recommend this hotel. First impressions very positive, nice room with quality furnishings, good location, friendly staff. The room however was far too warm, with no way to regulate the heating. Don't like to complain, but when I heard another couple mention the same issue I decided to say something. To be fair, they offered me another room, but after packing all my things up to move rooms, it turns out the new room was just as hot - so I assume all rooms have the same issue. So why make me pack up all my things and move? The only way to sleep was to leave the window open ( in December!) but my room overlooked the street so it was loud. I did request to move to a room facing the courtyard so that I could at least open the window and not be disturbed by the street noise, but no luck... The breakfast is good, but there is no coffee machine so you have to keep asking the (kind) hostess for another cup - and the poor thing is running back and forth from the kitchen bringing everybody coffee. What not have a coffee machine? There is one tiny lift that is shared with the cleaning staff, and countless times I couldn't enter the lift because their cleaning trolly takes up the whole lift. They were sweet and apologetic and I feel sorry for the cleaning staff as they have no other choice. Long queue at check out and just one staff member so it took ages My employer booked the hotel so I stayed put for the week. Had I been paying myself, I would have checked out after one night. I have stayed in many excellent hotels in Innsbruck, so I will avoid this one in future.

Staff were friendly and always helpful. Hotel is situated in the centre and everything is close by. Clean, tidy and room lovely and warm. Quiet, peaceful and warm atmosphere. Bathroom spotless and shower good size. Good value. Hotel lobby was inviting and spotless. Hotel offered a vending machine, for those forgotten items, razor, toothbrush etc, and late evening drinks :). Breakfast was available at the hotel, but we didn't take advantage of that, preferring to eat out and explore. We would return to Hotel Zach. Thank you for a grateful stay.

A fabulous boutique Hotel. The Hotel occupies a great location and is really central to everything in Innsbruck. Our room was spacious and very clean.
The reception staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The breakfast was also really good and the waiting staff were very friendly.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a city break stay.

Everything in our stay was perfect! We had our booked room upgraded to a bigger one, on the 3rd floor, what was great. Rooms look brand new, with all the necessary amenities. Even as temperatures outside were below zero, inside the room and the hotel all was warm and cozy. The room floor is heated. The hotel felt very quiet, we had a great rest.
The breakfast has many options, sweet and savory (the tea options are impressive!), for all tastes, and is served in a beautiful room, overlooking the street.
All the staff was really nice and helpful, we had great restaurant recomendations and all the info regarding our turist pass for public transportation.
The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the train station, and a 10 minute walk to the Gilded Roof and other atractions in Innsbruck. A less than 5 minute walk to bus stops that can take you up to the mountains on each side of town, for breathtaking views. We absolutely loved our stay!
