We have been coming to Kitzuhel on and off for the past 10 years and every time we stayed was at Kitzhof. The staff, the facility and location ticks all the boxes. That place has a very special place at our hearts. We first came with our two children when they were teenagers and now both come with us with their partners. This hotel has constructions ongoing so it could be very annoying when construction working is right outside your room. We demanded to change to a different room. The hotel was accommodating. But the cleaning service for the new room didn’t arrive until after 6pm. Combining daily cleaning with turndown? Amazing! So we said no to room cleaning. The structure and facilities can be rated 5 star, but unfortunately that isn’t enough at this price point. This was our second stay at the Tieffenbrunner (the first being in 2018). Booked a Junior Suite which faced the very charming High Street - superb views though a little noisy on hot summer evenings but it did die down after 11.30pm. I have been to the Alpenhotel several times and have always been more than satisfied. Whether it was the check-in or the catering, they always made a great effort and everything was excellent, including the kitchen. I am already looking forward to my next visit. I've been here in December 2025 with a friend for a 3 days of skiing. Great location, just 20 mt away from the cable lift (2 min. walking).
