The table reservation was made exactly as stated. Excellent value for money (the cheapest Hollersoda Kitzbühels), beautiful views, a little quieter than other restaurants on this main street, and really big portions!

This was my third or fourth trip to this hotel. I do not usually bother to write reviews but this hotel is special and it deserves broad recognition. The hotel is located a short walk from the main gondola in Kitbuhel. It is impeccably clean. The breakfast which was included in the price is so, so good and very high quality. The sauna, steam and swimming pool area is of the highest standard, the best part is the sauna ceremony which is the perfect reward after a long day skiing. The restaurant offers incredible food. The meat is organic and sourced locally, specifically for this hotel. The food is mouthwatering and the wine cellar is stocked with loads of great vino which the staff is well able to pair appropriately with your meal. Don't miss out on the Austrian wines. It should not be a secret that the Austrians are making incredible wines, especially Pinot Noir and this restaurant is well stocked. The staff is kind, welcoming and very helpful. Last, I would just say that we had the pleasure of meeting the owner Marcus. What a kind and humble person clearly his family raised him well. This hotel has no faults. It is the perfect location and of the highest standard, whether you are there with kids, on a couples trip or on a trip with your pals. I can't wait to go back. I would recommend this hotel over any other ski resort in Europe and I have been to many.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in August whilst undertaking the Kitzbuhel Alpine Trail. This is a very nice, well appointed hotel with spa and a lovely garden to relax in. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast in the restaurant was of a good quality. We had paid for an upgraded room but when we arrived we had been given a room with a bath but no stand up shower. I requested a change - we thought it would have been common sense to have seen we were booked with a walking company and would be ready for a shower on arrival. I was told that rooms with showers had to be booked in advance. There had been no mention of this by our walking company. Somewhat reluctantly the reception staff changed the room for us and we were much happier with the new one. I would say that the picture on the website of the upgraded rooms is somewhat misleading as they are certainly not all like the one shown. I do understand giving the best rooms to people staying a week or more and once the problem was resolved we enjoyed our stay here. If returning to Kitzbuhel we would stay here again now we know that we need to request a room with shower.

Our first summer visit to Kitzbuhel, and first visit to the Tiefenbrunner hotel. Having seen it many times when booking a ski holiday but always decided against it due to the room on offer with the travel company. I'm very glad we made the decision to book the hotel (despite the same room type being on offer). The hotel is in the old town and central to everything. It was quiet when we where there early in the summer season. We had a lovely second floor room, with a large bathroom. The view was over so rooftops across to the distant mountains. The room was clean and kept clean everyday. The bed was comfortable if a little firm, but a softer mattress topper was available on request. Unusually (for Austria) there was a kettle in the room, which pleased my tea loving wife. A good choice of breakfast options, cereals, pastries, bacon sausage and eggs and cold meats, cheeses. A lovely choice of evening meal. all served by attentive staff, unfortunately, Pauline(?) from Leeds is retiring from waiting on, a sad loss. We used the hotels swimming pool which was a first for us on any holiday. A great way to relax after walking around the mountains. Also there is a garden for relaxing with a water feature. Will we be back, yes, we have already booked for summer 2026, and will book for our ski holiday in 2027. The (ski) bus stops on the road at the back of the hotel so accessing the ski lifts is not an issue.

I was not transparently informed about the replacement of the originally booked massages instead, I was misled in a way that I only realized the change afterward. Despite addressing the issue in a polite complaint, I received no response from the hotel. This behavior gives the impression that customer concerns are neither taken seriously nor treated with respect. Overall, I find the handling of the situation disappointing and highly unprofessional.

For the years of travelling I’ve never had anything stolen in any hotel room in any country. Usually I don’t leave valuable staff in the room but unfortunately I forgot my Rolex watch on the night stand and it’s stolen!!! There was no other person entering the room other than the housekeeper. I think that a hotel would not be employing people that have any suspicion of doing that kind of thing. But it was very disappointing to see the same person working in that hotel just after the day submitting the theft report to the police!!!

We have been to Tiefenbrunner many times over the last 20 years and will continue to do so. Everything was as it should be. Rooms were excellent (I think they have been refurbished). The style is wood and a natural feel, they are all spacious. The dining room service and food was excellent. Breakfast was a wide range of choice something for everyone and more ! Staff were familiar faces, several going back even decades. The garden at the back of the hotel is a peaceful haven good to read books or relax in between trips further afield. And of course Tiefenbrunner hotel has a fantastic location in town and an amazing decorative exterior which is an important part of Kitzbuhels charm. I can’t praise Tiefenbrunner enough. I’m coming back.
