Bruggerhof - Camping, Restaurant, Hotel in Kitzbuehel

Lovely hotel out of town a bit but shuttle bus to gondola morning & afternoon 8-9 & 4-5 Friendly staff nothing was to much trouble from reception to restaurant to bar and shuttle bus always happy always helpful Rooms great everything you needed Good food we had breakfast and evening meal and nobody went hungry out of our group of 10 with 2 kids & 1 vegan

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Our group really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly service, rooms were large and clean. Impressed with the breakfast spread which set us up for a day's skiing . Added bonus of the indoor pool and high quality sauna complex - something you would expect to see in a 5 star hotel. The hotel offered a free private shuttle service to main ski lift in town in morning and end of the day, which we used each day and worked well. We used taxis to head into town for dinner each evening, which were no trouble to arrange on the way in and taxi rank in centre to get home (Cost c€17 each way) Highly recommend and we thought represented good value

Really enjoyed our stay here during a recent ski trip! I was a little sceptical after reading some mixed reviews but my initial doubts proved unfounded. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was clean and more than adequate for the price! The restaurant was great and the food was delicious. The ski bus is directly outside the entrance and runs a regular service to the ski station which is really convenient. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and definitely recommend.

We cannot fault the hotel, it is excellent and the staff, all of them, are friendly and very helpful at all times. They do seem to genuinly want you to have a lovely holiday, probably because they have been working there for years and enjoy being there themselves. The rooms are great. If you need anything, just ask - I needed a hairdryer, no problem. The hotel is by the stunning Schwarzee - don't miss it! I was very ill during my stay and was rushed to hospital and I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone at the hotel for taking care of me and in particular the owners, who made sure that my husband was able to get in and out of Kitzbuhel to the doctors and the pharmacy etc etc. That's the sort of service that you do not find everywhere. We shall definitely return.

We stayed at the Hotel Bruggerhof half board for a week skiing and had a great time! Before our stay the reception were quick to respond to a couple of email queries. We arrived at around 9:30pm and still were given a 4 course hot meal on arrival. The hotel is clean and well set up with plenty of areas to relax - spacious rooms although the beds are quite firm. The pool and wellness area is great - big pool, steam room, 2 saunas. They offer drop off and pick up from the Hahnenkamm gondola each day for skiing which is great. The evening food was very good, plenty of hearty food and always offering second helpings. There is a very well stocked organic shop at the campsite too in case you need anything else. Most of all we would like to thank the staff, everyone was extremely friendly and polite throughout our stay. Would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing base for a ski holiday at kitzbuhel!

Looking at previous comments I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I needn’t have worried, I can only think some have been reviewing a different hotel. We arrived late (8.30pm). There was a very warm reception from members of the family run hotel. Instead of a cold salad we would normally expect, we were told not to hurry, but get to restaurant when ready for a fully cooked meal. The food food continued to be excellent all week. At breakfast we had a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad or whole fruits. Good selection of breads and continental. Also scrambled egg, sausages and bacon each morning. Always friendly attentive service. We would have to choose one main out of three for the evening, as part of a 5 course meal. Again always excellent. Great vegetarian options and lovely meat dishes. Mainly local pork and beef recipes. We had a great bedroom. Loads of room with plenty of storage, balcony, small table and chairs. Bath with shower. Everything worked well and really clean. Room cleaned every day by smiling happy staff. The other 2 rooms used by others in our party were equally good. (All 1st floor standard rooms, so not sure about others above). If you must find something to whinge about, the bathroom was slightly dated. 90’s possibly. However it was beautifully decorated, very clean, well presented and fully functional. I’d rather it was not ripped out with all the wastage for the sake of a brand new. The wellness area was superb (mainly Dutch who love wandering around without a stitch on). However, no one complained about us Brits turning up in swimming trunks (you are meant to sit on a towel in the saunas). Several different (very large) saunas, steam room and a warm room. Also a lovely large clean modern pool and bubble tub area. Pool was not as warm as I would like (bath temp for me!) However perfect for swimming lengths. Bus stops right in car park for Fleckalmbahn lift (best lift up). Buses run to the minute, every 30-45 mins and it takes about 5-10 mins to the lift. Hotel runs a minibus to the Kitzbuhle lift 8-9 am and 4-5pm. All very straightforward with almost no walking. So a fantastic family owned hotel. Several of the family work there, and all other staff were great. Fab weeks stay, and I think outstanding value. Looking forward to return.

We didn’t stay in the hotel but used the adjacent campsite as we were in our motorhome. All part of the same business. The spa is lovely and of a standard far above what you would expect. Nice warm pool and two or three types of sauna and hot rooms. You’re expected to be naked but use towels. Didn’t bother us. We had a lovely meal in the hotel. The server who might have been a relative of the family owners took time to explain the menu to us in English. The hotel is near the Flickambahn bubble and is served by a bus link. You could easily enjoy a whole ski week here and use buses/taxis to get to downtown Kitzbuhel.

Whilst this isn’t 5 star, I cannot fault the hotel. The staff (and owner) were fantastic, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always attentive and helpful. The room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food was fine. Again not 5 star, but good and tasty. Bus to the slopes each day was perfect. Location maybe 3 km from town but beautiful views. It was great for my ski holiday…
