Qala Hotel in Baku

We have ordered 2 haydari, 1 shah plov and 1 sebzili plov with 2 coca : 63 manats. All of them were fantastic. Haydari served with fresh and amazing bread. Shah plov is like its name, a real king.

The breakfast was incredible, it is by far one of the best breakfast sets I ever had, a big thank you to Calal for the great service, i highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

The meal was fantastic! Plus with good service and hospitality. Must go for any new tourists going around Old Baku area.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in a long time it was just amazing, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is so delicious. Went there twice just because it is so good

The 180-degree large window overlooks the old city of Baku, and you can see the Flame Tower and Deniz Shopping Center outside the window. Breakfast is eaten at the hotel next door. It is super rich. You can try fruits, breads, snacks, and local food. The hotel staff was very friendly, helped me carry my luggage, looked after my luggage, and made me feel responsive to my needs. Living in the old city, I get up listening to the chirping of birds every day and petting cats in the old city. It is very pleasant😌 There are enough bottled water pipes.

There are also disadvantages, that is, you have to climb the fourth floor! No one helped me on the first day, so it was difficult for me to carry it upstairs alone. I'm on the top floor and the water will be cut off at night. According to the front desk, the water pressure is not enough. Just call the front desk and water will be available within a minute or two. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so you need to open the window for ventilation 😂 The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors clearly 😂

But I think if you want to sleep at night and go out to play during the day, this location is still very advantageous. Just a few dozen meters away is the subway station icherisheher. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the small train going to the Flame Towers.

The place was very cozy and was in the shade as well inside a old wall. It gave a very nice vibe to the place.

There are options for beer and wine. You can try the dry or semi sweet red wine as it’s a local produce.
