Sea Breeze Residences & Hotel in Baku

If I can give this place a zero I would, horrible unorganized scam, you have to pay for each beach club you visit and the water park they don’t allow the parents to go with the kids such insanity and so unsafe, i really don’t understand the hype. The beach was terrible and my hot latte was so cold, they also didn’t give me a spoon to mix the sugar in I had to use the scraps from the sugar to mix my coffee disgusting I hope the owner sees this! Only when I finished my coffee then they bought the spoon. First and last time I’ll ever be visiting here!

We contacted Sea Breeze Resort several days in advance to book lunch for 4 PM, hoping to ensure a smooth experience. Unfortunately, what we encountered was beyond disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, there was complete disorganization. No one provided clear directions, and we were passed around without answers despite repeatedly asking for help. The communication was chaotic, and it felt like no one knew what was going on.

After all the back and forth, we were finally told there were no buggies available to take us — and to make matters worse, we were informed the venue was closed. No prior notice, no alternatives, just a vague mention of “Nikki Beach,” with no guidance or assistance.

I have traveled extensively and have never experienced service this poor. We wasted our entire day, left without a meal, and honestly, we’re still at a loss for words. This was not what we expected from a resort of this caliber.

Extremely disappointed.

Most Horrible Experience and Service Ever!

We are currently renting a flat through Sea Breeze in Polo Residence for 10 days, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare from day one.

1. No Working AC – Completely Ignored
On arrival, not a single AC unit in the flat is working. We report it to reception immediately and are told that "someone will come soon" – but no one shows up for three full days. The temperature in the flat is over +33°C, while it’s +32°C outside. We keep following up, and all our comments are ignored. Today, finally, someone comes to “fix” it, and yet – the system is still not working.

2. Unsafe and Poor-Quality Renovation
The condition of the flat is appalling. The renovation is so cheap and poorly done that the bathroom door handle falls off, trapping our friend inside. She suffers a panic attack, nearly faints due to no oxygen, and no help comes from the staff. Another friend arrives and has to break the lock to get her out. It's not just uncomfortable – it's genuinely unsafe.

3. Daily Booking Mistakes and Rude Staff
Every single day, there is some issue with our reservations. Whether it’s pool beds, beach access, or other services – there is always a mistake. The staff are rude and unhelpful. For example, at Nikki Beach, we book two pool beds and are told we only have one. They claim it’s a “special place they manage themselves” and refuse to give us the second bed until we argue and show the booking confirmation. Only then do they agree.

Working in tourism and hospitality myself, I can confidently say this is not how guests should be treated.
Even though our stay isn’t over yet, we already know that we would not recommend Sea Breeze.

I really hope management takes this seriously and does something to improve guest relations, service quality, and the overall safety and comfort of their properties.
