Cannot comment on rooms as we only used the Bistro for a lunch

We came across this establishment overlooking the square and as it was nearing lunchtime opted to have a drink first followed by food.
The staff were very helpful and friendly: Helped explain any items on the menu we were unsure of and the service was exemplary.

The food was good, though perhaps for the price, I did expect a little more seasoning finesse; I felt my Garnaalkroketten could have had a touch more seasoning. My wife’s Salmon dish was very good. Portion sizes were larger than we required.

Overall a reasonable place to eat a lunch.

Nice, cozy small hotel conveniently located right in the center of Oudenaarde. The rooms are in excellent condition, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is also good, with freshly cooked eggs and an assortment of croissants and breads from a local bakery. But the best part is the attention to the customer. It is simply excellent. The personnel is very friendly and always willing to help in any possible way. I even got a lift a couple of times! Highly recommended if you visit Oudenaarde or the area around it.
