Clean and decent hotel. Has pool and sauna which is a very nice addition to your stay.

The hotel is understated and tasteful; the ground floor is very contemporary, perfect for relaxing, working, and socializing. Our room, number 102, was bright and comfortable. The hotel also has a garage, which is a real plus.

The location is fantastic, close to museums, the main square, and scenic viewpoints. In short, a great place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple days based on proximity to the Grand Place and restaurants. We were a family of four, and we booked the two-level family room.

Pros:
Our room was ready early when we arrived.
The two level family room with the spiral staircase was more than enough space for us and our two teenagers.
The lower level has a second toilet, which was nice and unexpected.
The person who checked us in was very helpful in helping us identify activities.
The bed was comfortable.
It's a 5ish minute walk to the Grand Place with tons of restaurants.

Cons:
There isn't much else on the street the hotel is on.
The pathway that leads toward the shops and restaurants closes at night and you have to walk uphill around the block to get to the hotel if you come back later.
We asked for a van to take us to the train station but they only called for a regular cab. Our suitcases and things didn't really fit and the driver was visibly frustrated. He was slamming the trunk and went into the hotel to speak to the staff. We ended up having one person sit up front holding a suitcase on his lap. Then, when we got to the train station he said he didn't take cards and only cash. We only had American money so he took that. This wasn't the best end to our trip but it wasn't necessarily the hotel's fault. I did point out that we'd asked for a van, knowing we had a lot of luggage, and they said we only see you asked for a cab.

Nice weekend with friends, the staff is really welcoming.

Nice reception by friendly staff, spacious lobby, nice rooms, clean, breakfast is extensive enough, swimming pool, small but still nice. Surroundings with many antiques and galleries, nice restaurants and close to the Central Station.

There was a large construction site in the back yard of the hotel, which was not mentioned in the hotel description. Unfortunately, you could hear the construction site.
The rooms were also a bit noisy. In the bathroom, the tile in the shower was broken in the middle and there was a half hole, which was a risk of injury. You also couldn't close the bathroom door because you couldn't get it open.
The wellness area was nicely decorated, but on the first evening there were lots of white pieces (no idea what they were) on the floor in the pool. The whirlpool function stirred up all the water and eventually they were washed out. Many people use the sauna without a towel, which is why the wood is a bit "shriveled". But it was nicely done.

At breakfast, when it was very busy, the man often couldn't keep up with clearing up all the things. Then you really have to wait longer for new juices, croissants, toast, fruit and scrambled eggs to arrive.
You could make real Belgian waffles yourself, though. The liquid dough is next to the device and you can just pour it in, close the device and turn it over.
Otherwise the staff is really nice and helpful and it is also really clean.
