Royal Family Apartment with Private Pool

Our stay in August at White Lagoon was unfortunately quite disappointing in several aspects.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the apartment were poor. Despite reporting issues, problems like ants and miriapods in the apartment, sinks not draining properly and a malfunctioning shower splashing allover were never resolved during our stay. Bedrooms were not cleaned at all, only the bedsheets were arranged, while the living room floor was superficially washed. The terrace was never cleaned.

The apartment conditions were below expectations. The apartments with private pools are placed in a side building separate from the main hotel, which looked dated and poorly maintained and the water dispenser in the building never worked. The apartment interior also felt worn-out. A major issue was the lack of privacy – all rooms, including the bathroom, had sliding doors that didn’t close fully, leaving a visible gap. This was very uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a strong unpleasant smell under the kids’ bed.

As for the food and drinks, the buffet offered some decent options but overall, the food was mediocre and drinks and most of the sweets were of the poorest quality.

The beach was also disappointing: very small, with little sand, rocky seabed, and overcrowded lounge chairs placed too close together.

On the positive side, the apartment was spacious, with the benefit of a private pool right in front and a lovely seaside view, which we really enjoyed. The entertainment team did a great job – both kids and adults could enjoy the shows, which were well put together with talented artists and fun. The 4th floor pools and slides were also quite good and a highlight for our children.

In conclusion, while we appreciated the space, view, entertainment, and pool facilities, the lack of proper cleaning, maintenance, and comfort made our experience far from relaxing. With improvements in hygiene, facilities upkeep, food quality, and beach organization, this resort could truly live up to its potential, but as it stands, we left quite disappointed.

During our stay we loved hearing the sea waves before sleep and waking up to it. So locating is great. Great for families as there’s many children. Loved all the kids activities minus the ones that were paid and wouldn’t mention it until you got to it and felt obligated to pay because your kid really wanted to participate, but, no biggie.
Here’s why I will never be back:
Housekeeper (even tho I left tip daily), picked up the dirty towels from the floor and put them on the shower for me to use. I was mind blown. They were clearly stained and dirty.
Another thing that shocked me was that the cleaning person in the restaurant swiped the the baby chairs after my kids ate, with the broom after she used it on the floor.
Beach restaurant: my 2 year old dropped her fries in the sand as she was eating and was very sad. They close at 5. I ran and got there 5:01. Clearly had a tray full of fries they made for themselves and was refused a few fries because they finish the program at 5, even tho I explained they were not for me. So sad..
Kids juices/ cocktails. Holy crap. Those are not drinks,those are syrups that you are supposed to mix with water, except they serve it like that. So careful there, make sure you mix a quarter cup of that syrup with water.
