There is a restaurant in the pine forest, there is a variety of food, alcohol and good service. It's worth the trip, even for an operative

We enjoyed it greatly and mostly responded to what was described.

Good place for just one night. It was disinfected minutes before check-in and smelled very strongly of chlorine. The shower door was broken. There is no parking space. The price of the night is like at the sea in high season. In a word, nothing special. I don't recommend.

I visited this hotel on a halfboard basis as part of a cycling tour operated by Penguin Travel. Unfortunately we arrived late to the hotel so I didn't have time to experience the spa facilities. Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable. Good place to relax and enjoy your time off. Usually crowded, but there is room for everyone. The one big disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in that facility. BH Velingrad is a very peaceful and romantic place. The staff is very friendly and smiling. Even at the reception they greet you with a smile, the colleagues from physiotherapy are great professionals, Rumen has golden hands, he does magical massages. It's good that there is also a lye. The rooms are terribly small, those facing the Balkans. The procedures are very messy and you have to keep track of the hours every day, and when you have a bath and then other procedures, it's a lot of running.

The service in the restaurant could be better, but overall not that bad. The hotel has aqua park for the kids and pools and spa area perfect for adults. Scenic view and great for chilling.

Perfect place to relax. Not too expensive and surprisingly quiet even with kids around. Nice view and clean water at the pools. You will definitely get served well at the bar and the restaurant. It is a decent hotel, not very luxurious but it is ok. The surrounding area is peaceful and many rooms have a mountain view. The renovated rooms (deluxe) are definitely a better choice than the standard ones. There is a spa center with sauna, steam bath and a few swimming pools, also 2 fitness rooms. Even though the hotel was fully booked the stay here was quite enjoyable.

I was surprised about the infrastructure, physiotherapy was very good and my spouse and appreciate the pools and the views.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. Restaurant had almost no visitors in the afternoon.

It is a nice and clean family hotel. During our stay it was realy overcrowded, despite Covid it looked and felt overbooked. The parking and spa are realy not ment for so many visitors. Probably if it was not so busy we would have liked it more.

Love this place. Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling. It's GREAT value for the price.

I love it! The location is very good, peaceful and quite with amazing view. Rooms are big enough with king size bed and personally our terrace was HUGE. There is also a lovely spa with two pools and a great masseuse (I definitely recommend to try one of their massages). The restaurant was good the breakfast was fantastic really it was just awesome.
