Best Hotels in Velingrad

Buffet food was good, not the best ever but good for a buffet. Massage and therapy options are amazing. The therapist is very good and can provide numerous treatments. Relaxation massages are also very good

Very nice hotel and spa experience in Velingrad. Would say 4-star hotel, not quite 5star standards but very good. Two large pools and good hot tub and sauna options. Playroom for children, billiards and games

Still, it’s a good choice for a relaxing stay and spa experience

The food in the restaurant was amazing. Many choices and very delicious. We will come back for a longer vacation there very soon! Definitely recommend the hotel to all kind of guests, especially families with kids!!!

Great service! Top location near the river and right next to the big forest. Quiet place, without any noise from anywhere. We where able to hear the birds singing and the water from river float

Clean and hot waters in every swimming pool and jacuzzi. We where there for 3 nights, and my kids loved it so much. The kids cry when we started to pack the bags, they wanted to stay more

Things like for example - soft close toilet lids - sharp edges on bathroom controls - appropriate baby high chairs in the restaurant - soft padding on the metal bar between internal and external pool - single elevator per block - etc… The spa is quite good and has nice facilities but falls shy of what you would find at lets say katarino or kings valley

Similar to the previews reviews, id put this hotel at a 3. 5 star, but 5 stars is really a stretch. A good 4 star would be hyatt pravets for example

I am visiting the hotel for 3rd time. As usual it is great, clean, stuff is nice and friendly. Food is great, spa is amazing, love the outside pools

This time i decided to go to magnesium massage and the lady’s name was Elena she is just perfect, very sweet

I could not see her name ,but it will be nice if she can be more polite !

although price wise they are on par and similar. We visited with a baby and were surprised to find it quite unequipped on that front too. The rooms are not baby safe and have a lot of edges and dangerously placed sockets

Our room was large and comfortable, but it was located at the very end of the hotel, which meant a long walk to everything. We also had issues with noise from the room next door, as they were partying all night

The spa is spacious and nicely designed, though it can get quite busy around the pool on weekends since there aren’t many sunbeds available

The best impressions and sensations from nature and from otala and from people.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it’s adults only, which makes a big difference

I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to

Kashmir is most likely the best SPA resort in Bulgaria (together with Zornitza). The facility is great, SPA zone is also outstanding, it is very clean & very cozy

This hotel's best pints are its pools and water spas. All are nicely set up and well-maintained. There's good variety in the saunas and steam rooms, and the outdoor pool is attractive to use even in October

Nice rooms, friendly staff, good spa

The experience is very good and the staff is very kind and they are exceptional at their work. The food was great. I liked it very much.

In October, with few guests, the common spaces felt very lonely. The food was not very good and we quickly found better options in Velingrad. We went for the waters and the air, and Maxi delivered on those counts

The room with a balcony was spacious and comfortable. It lacked a few niceties, like a good supply of water bottles in the room each day, but was big and inviting

An incredible hotel with nature view, cozy, spacious, the design is simply top notch, a great spa center with incredible treatments, the food is fresh and wonderfully cooked, the desserts are unique, the lobby bar is superb and the staff are more than friendly, I recommend everyone to visit this hotel to experience all of this in person!

Mid-level hotel. The SPA center is good and clean. Rooms are spacious and beds are just huge. On the negative side there aren't any sofas in the rooms.

Exceptional Stay with an Incredible Team! We had an unforgettable vacation at Hotel Aquatonic, and while the facilities are great, it is the staff that truly makes this place special

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Kudos to Niko the bartender and the entire restaurant staff. Reception & Planning: Kristian and the whole reception team were very helpful

The hotel is clean, the rooms are large and nice, the food is great with a big variety, the massages are very good, and the staff is more than excellent, always smiling and ready to help

You will have amazing experience! The hotel have a wonderful view of the Balkans and you can enjoy the little train that passed right under the hotel, nearby there is Lake Kleptuza which you can enjoy your daily walk!

We also want to thank Elena (Marketing) – her constructive email responses before our arrival made planning our vacation seamless. Service & Atmosphere: The housekeeping team kept everything impeccably clean

Overall great stay with amazing food and service. Super friendly staff, great location in the middle of a pine tree s park - 5mins walk from downtown. Amenities are good for a 5* hotel

One of the best and oldest spas in Velingrad. You are in an old style 5 star Hotel, but the genuine version. There is a lot of space inside and outside, beautiful park around and the city center is accessible by foot

The restaurant is also a good surprise for dinner and breakfast. Definitely a place I would recommend for those looking for more genuineness than "bling-bling"

Pools were great! Amazing location! Friendly staff. Good breakfast, and VERY good dinner. The room was clean, and comfortable. Not very spacious, though.

Dinner buffet wasn’t good either, we had to eat the same thing every time because the other food wasn’t good. The meat was over cooked and the salads lacked seasoning

I can highly recommend it for sure ✔️ Great view, fresh air - the hotel is situated on a hill in the middle of a forest. Spa is great - hot thermal water, nice facilities

Lovely hotel for a relaxing holiday, the rooms are clean, view from the balcony. The staff is friendly, pools, SPA treatments, Breakfast - I liked everything. Anyone interested in casino the hotel has

Wonderful place! Great staff, nice rooms, clean and large spa areas and big pools. The nearby bowling and billiards make it a perfect place for a family holiday. The live club is a must.

The hotel is good, but more like 4 stars. But old interiors and finishing materials. It's nice to see that the owners are trying to carry out renovations. Good reception and restaurant

I actually liked the hotel, there's a swimming pool, spa, saunas, fitness, bowling, restaurant, and even a indoor playground for the kids! its up on the hill on velingrad next to olymp spa centre, 4 stars cuz the shower that u can hold is stuck on the second hole after the less-controllable one and the lock on the bathroom is maybe broken

Excellent location, abundant thermal water and many pools. Staff is super friendly, the food is local and tasty, good choice of wines. Good entertainment.

The pools and spa facilities are excellent — definitely one of the highlights of the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt organized and professional

Excellent amenities, very courteous people, tasty food. We had great relaxing vacation and enjoyed the mineral pools and offered massages. Really recommended hotel and staff

Parking spaces in front of the hotel are practically nil, but the availability of an ground part under the new building is an excellent idea

It may not be the cleanest and cleanest hotel but it's awesome! Big thumbs up for me👌👌👌

But it's definitely colder in there than outside. That concludes all the negatives. Friendly and helpful staff at reception, spa and restaurant. The food was delicious and varied. Spa and pools are warm and we liked them

We were accommodated in the "new" part. The apartment was large, bright and warm. But, cleaning was practically completely absent. On the second day, the ashtray on the terrace was cleaned and that was it for three days

There were only two towels given that the booking was for three adults. The reception was very quick to respond and the towel was available in just a few minutes. This "new" part has a "warm" connection with the yard

Nice and cosy hotel however the pool and the Spa showers are quite dirty which is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean and the food is great

Excellent SPA hotel, large view rooms, outdoor and indoor pools. Specialists will give you a massage, I used it myself and was satisfied. The water in the pool and tap is mineral. Very attentive staff.

Great for families. A lot of things to do with children. The food is good. Art rooms are great!

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Option for free breakfast and dinner.

We had great experience (two adults and a kid). Rooms were always clean, breakfast was also good. The pool is big enough, there is also an outdoor one. Spa procedures are also good.

Good place to relax, with spa facilities and thermal water pools. Nice views over Velingrad valley. Enough parking space and very fast free Internet. Personnel polite and efficient

Luckily, the bed was fairly comfy, so I had a good night's sleep. Our dinner was pre-arranged and booked for 8 pm. We started with a salad, followed by apertisers of fried cheeses, veggies, and bread

Breakfast was delicious and had vegan/Vegetarian options. If taking the train, get down at velingrad-jug(south) station. It is 10 mins walk from there. Do not miss the cold water pool

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable

Book directly with them instead of with Booking. For me it was almost 25% cheaper

Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great

I had a main of chicken with potatoes and a few veggies. As we couldn't speak bulgarian and our waitress couldn't speak English, we communicated via Google Translate, which worked well

Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful

Great hotel for its price - it's not luxurious but the rooms are decent, the swimming pool/spa area is good and the food is nice consiting of traditional Bulgarian meals.

I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent

I took a facial and massage in the Spa with Mariana she is good in her work. Thanks I had a nice and relaxing time in your place

Close to the train station and hiking trails. It feels so refreshing to come back from a day outside and then go soak in the pool or do a sauna session. I really enjoyed my stay here

The parking lot attendant guy even took our luggage to the hotel. The whole spa area was clean and the mineral water temperature was pleasant. Definitely recommending this hotel

Personally the service was really good the food was good most importantly the plates and the forks were clean, ther room’s were great they wer clean the sheets were clean and it seemed really nice, my experience in the pool was really good the water was warm and clean personally i would recommend it 100%

The hotel location is good and has good views. The staff was good and helpful The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't match with a 4 star hotel

The location of the hotel is unique - on top of a hill overlooking a pine forest. The area around it is very nicely landscaped and decorated and the view to the town is fantastic. I visited the pool with my family

The indoor pool was warmer and bigger than the outdoor one. I was not impressed with the level of cleanliness of the pool area. The deck chairs outside needed a bit of a scrub from bird droppings

The jacuzzi near the pool looked really dirty and smelled like urine which completely disgusted me and I never went back anywhere near

The windows of the indoor pool were smudged as if they haven't been cleaned for years, which is a pity as they are overlooking the pine forest

Maggie was one of the best customer service receptionist that we had met on our tour of Bulgaria.

Hotel Rich in Velingrad offers a luxurious stay with elegant rooms and excellent spa facilities, making it a top choice for relaxation. The staff is attentive and the ambiance is warm, perfect for a peaceful getaway

So means you can visit this hotel even for some people with a short budget. Then here is beautiful Spa-center,sauna then beautiful pool inside and outside with hot thermal water then gym 🏋️‍♂️ have too

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rich Velingrad. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch

The on-site restaurant serves delicious local cuisine, enhancing the overall experience

Special thanks for going above and beyond to make our stay marvelous

Very nice and cozy please. The staff are so sweet and helpful. The services are really good, the buffet style food as well. The pools and outdoor hot pool in a cold winter day feels amazing. Highly recommended!

Good views, nice spa center, good food I the restaurant. Good value for the money!

I was surprised about the infrastructure, physiotherapy was very good and my spouse and appreciate the pools and the views.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great

So for my birthday, we went to hotel Aura. And bro I ain't gonna lie it's great. We got room A2 and I saw this when I went on my room. I saw some construction stuff outside. But hey, they might remodel it

Nice place, wonderfull pools, delicious dishes

Excellent service for a very accessible price.

It was a really good place to stay in the people were nice and everything was great I recommend it

Good hotel. I like it. Except for the juice served for the breakfast.

The good: good location in the old part of town and the spa is just ok, although the sauna had broken benches

The spa and the pools are great, with a mineral water. 2 indoor pools plus a jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, relax room and a gym, plus outdoor pool. It's a bit far away from the centre, in a peaceful area

Great place for a quiet weekend. The Spa it's very nice with a mineral water pool and they're massage therapists are miracle workers.

Diners were good/satisfactory but its personal opinion because I’m not really a meat girl and there was every night choice between BBQ and BBQ for the main dish

Very nice and cozy place to spend as much as you can. Excellent staff, great pool and spa with mineral water. The price was very right. We loved it and will go again. Thank you Maria and Svetla.

I love it! The location is very good, peaceful and quite with amazing view. Rooms are big enough with king size bed and personally our terrace was HUGE

There is also a lovely spa with two pools and a great masseuse (I definitely recommend to try one of their massages). The restaurant was good the breakfast was fantastic really it was just awesome

Very clean and very well maintained place. I think it is very quiet and good looking hotel. Profesional service and nice staff

The hotel staff are very accommodating! The rooms are very clean and the food is great! We will be back again and enjoy it here.

People (family bisenes) was extraordinary pleassnt, good was fresh kooked, room in 7m was w nice temperature without any cooling system With 1 word Excelent and more than 5

Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling

Really great location very close to the city centre. Wonderful hosts and atmosphere. It's a 160 years old house, but it has everything you need for a good holiday

A good place for relax and nice utilization of an old traditional house. Good idea to keep that historical architecture and spirit alive!

Nice hoster, nice area, great simple bulgarian brekfast at the dinar velow the rooms; i recommend the sweet toast with jam and cheese. The homemade wine is good as well

Authentic room. Wooden house. Maybe will not match every taste but it was a nice experience. Food and hospitality was 'feels like home'.

I will start by saying that the Reception is the place that makes the first impression of the guests, and in this hotel it was not good at all

There were 5 of us and the table we were seated at for dinner was for 4 people with just one extra chair, which wasn't at all comfortable for a nice dinner. The food was delicious, it was constantly replenished

We were greeted by a man who explained to us with such annoyance what was where that we felt guilty that we were checking in. Extremely impolite, he doesn't even look you in the eye when explaining

As a minus for the pools, I can note that only one lifeguard is responsible for both the infinity pool and the pools located in the Spa area, which is a risk in itself

This is a huge minus for the standard of a 5 star hotel. The spa is wonderful, there is a wide variety of procedures that can be done

The infinity pool's opening hours from 11am to 5:30pm I don't think are enough. The restaurant is small to feed all the hotel guests
