St. Spas Hotel & Balneo Complex

Velingrad, Nikola Vaptzarov Str. 97 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

It was my first visit to Balneo SPA Hotel Sveti Spas in 10 years, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Velingrad itself is a beautiful mountain town, and the hotel’s location on the outskirts is quiet and relaxing. The facilities are nice and well-maintained, and the food is plentiful and delicious. The only downside is that while the hotel advertises itself as 5-star, it doesn’t quite meet...

Very nice hotel and spa experience in Velingrad. Would say 4-star hotel, not quite 5star standards but very good. Two large pools and good hot tub and sauna options. Playroom for children, billiards and games. Buffet food was good, not the best ever but good for a buffet. Massage and therapy options are amazing. The therapist is very good and can provide numerous treatments. Relaxation massages...

Great hotel. Great service! Top location near the river and right next to the big forest. Perfect view and surrounding. Quiet place, without any noise from anywhere. We where able to hear the birds singing and the water from river float. Clean and hot waters in every swimming pool and jacuzzi. We where there for 3 nights, and my kids loved it so much. We have a hard time to leave. The kids cry when...

Rooms are great, facilities are ok and clean, although if the hotel gets full I'm not sure how it will handle the guests (pools are crammed with about 20-25 people). Staff is polite. Very close to Velingrad south train station, but sadly with no safe passage for pedestrians - no sidewalk. Away from the city center, so plenty of fresh air. The only problem is the price, but.... sadly 5* doesn't mean...

The outdoor swimming pool was excellent. The food was anything special and the same every day.

I stayed there in 2018 and 2019 and I was about to stay there in 2023, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned! However, I'll never forget about this great place that's always made my holiday better! It's located outside of Velingrad in a quite and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and mountains with a bus stop right in front of the hotel connecting it to the town! When it comes to the convenience...

Arte Spa & Park Hotel

Velingrad, Ul.Yundola 200 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

The hotel was very nice ,the room was clean ,the food was good .All the stuff was friendly except one of the receptionists, going through the lobby today i heard she was speaking extremely rude on the phone(even thought i do not understand bulgarian ). I could not see her name ,but it will be nice if she can be more polite !

I am visiting the hotel for 3rd time. As usual it is great, clean, stuff is nice and friendly. Food is great, spa is amazing, love the outside pools. This time i decided to go to magnesium massage and the lady’s name was Elena she is just perfect, very sweet. Strongly recommend the place

Similar to the previews reviews, id put this hotel at a 3.5 star, but 5 stars is really a stretch. A good 4 star would be hyatt pravets for example. There is little attention to detail and sporadic flashy “art” to cover up for it. Things like for example - soft close toilet lids - sharp edges on bathroom controls - appropriate baby high chairs in the restaurant - soft padding on the metal bar between...

I would consider this to be an excellent four-star hotel. The breakfast is the same every morning; however, if you opt for half board with dinners included, the meals are excellent! One downside is that the room does not have a kettle or a selection of tea or coffee; water was only provided on the day we arrived. This does not align with what you would expect from a five-star hotel. The spa area...

This place is incredibly beautiful and has an amazing spa that provides everything you need for true relaxation. It offers a great jacuzzi, a heated pool, various jets and a comfortable relaxation area with heated beds with LED lighting. However, it would be fantastic to include more vegan dishes and desserts as this would cater to those on a strict vegan diet or anyone interested in trying different...

The hotel needs a refreshing renovation, especially the spa center, which I don't think can accommodate the number of people. There were two wave pools that were not working and were not even covered. Five or six years ago, it might have been a five-star hotel. The only positive aspect now is the food that is offered. Everything was very tasty.

Resort Kashmir Wellness & SPA Hotel Adults Only

Velingrad, 14 D-R Doshkinov Street 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it’s adults only, which makes a big difference. The service was good overall, and you can tell the staff is genuinely trying to meet international luxury standards, but they need more training to do so. The spa is spacious and nicely designed, though it can get quite busy around the pool on weekends since there aren’t many sunbeds available. Our room was...

Great spa hotel. All was great except that the cleaning lady made 2 times a mistake to try to enter our room why we are inside. All other was top, food, spa, hotel.

this is a true 5 star hotel. big luxurious rooms, a wonderful spa, a lot of comfortable public space. the staff is friendly, helpful, professional. the disappointment rose from the food for which the hotel is famous. the buffet is very rich but not one dish was outstanding. most of the dishes that should be served hot, like scrambled eggs, bacon, pies....where cold or lukewarm at best. the meat served...

Lovely spa hotel, the athletics are amazing and very lix feeling. Slightly on the pricy side though.

Excellent facility, beautiful spa. Well-stocked and very good buffet.

I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to. It has also some Michelin accreditations. The service and the facilities in the hotel are the same level as the top 5 stars hotels in the Alps.

Maxi Park Hotel & Spa

Velingrad, 30 Nikolai Hrelkov Str. 🧭

Spa facilities: Solarium, Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels so far, but this is probably the first time I’ve experienced a hotel closing its restaurant area for a party and allowing loud music to play until 3:30 AM. Being woken up by the noise and then going down to the lobby only to be met with an indifferent attitude from the staff made the experience even more disappointing. These are behaviours that definitely do not suit...

Nice rooms, friendly staff, good spa

An incredible hotel with nature view, cozy, spacious, the design is simply top notch, a great spa center with incredible treatments, the food is fresh and wonderfully cooked, the desserts are unique, the lobby bar is superb and the staff are more than friendly, I recommend everyone to visit this hotel to experience all of this in person!

The experience is very good and the staff is very kind and they are exceptional at their work. The food was great. I liked it very much.

Balneo Complex & Spa Aquatonik

Velingrad, Nikola Vaptsarov Str. 122, Chepino District 🧭

Spa facilities: Solarium, Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

Exceptional Stay with an Incredible Team! We had an unforgettable vacation at Hotel Aquatonic, and while the facilities are great, it is the staff that truly makes this place special. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our stay so comfortable and welcoming: Physiotherapy & Health: A huge thank you to Boyan and Vasiliy for their high level of professionalism, and to...

One of the nicest places I have stayed in Bulgaria . I am visiting the place minimum twice per year .The hotel is clean, the rooms are large and nice, the food is great with a big variety, the massages are very good, and the staff is more than excellent, always smiling and ready to help. The water in the pools is clean and there are many types of spa. I highly recommend on your visiting to check...

Overall the hotel is nice, we liked the buffet food, the spa is big and has lots of amenities, the room was big and spacious. At lunch time however - we waited more than 30 mins for two SOUPS, one came and the other they told me after all the waiting - had been finished, which left me angry and hungry. Not to mention I am also pregnant. I wasn’t going to wait god knows how long for something else...

Excellent service, good location. The spa is very good. The hotel is old but was very clean. We had a one-room appartment. The rooms were big, only the sofa wasn't very comfortable. The prices in the minibar were acceptable. We had breakfast and dinner included. The food was very delicious. You can have lunch in the restaurant, good price, delicios food and perfect service.

Nothing bad to say here. I visit this place for second time after two years and the quality of this hotel as always brilliant!

Wonderful mineral water and facilities. Few things showing age but kept clean and functional overall (important). Lovely place for a family vacation in mountain air and amazing mineral water source.

Spa Hotel Dvoretsa

Velingrad, 8 Tosho Staikov Str 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

Pools were great! Amazing location! Friendly staff. Good breakfast, and VERY good dinner. The room was clean, and comfortable. Not very spacious, though.

Nice view, location and service. Facilities are a little outdated and the whole building could use some better lighting overall.

One of the best and oldest spas in Velingrad. You are in an old style 5 star Hotel, but the genuine version. There is a lot of space inside and outside, beautiful park around and the city center is accessible by foot. I give 5 stars to the spa. The restaurant is also a good surprise for dinner and breakfast. Definitely a place I would recommend for those looking for more genuineness than "bling-bling...

Overall great stay with amazing food and service. Super friendly staff, great location in the middle of a pine tree s park - 5mins walk from downtown. Amenities are good for a 5* hotel. Special thanks to the restaurant manager!

The hotel’s location was gorgeous. The views were beautiful, it was peaceful and had plenty of fresh air around. It was actually perfect for our 3.5 year old son. The slides were fun, the playroom had plenty of toys and we had easy access to the forest around-it was a lovely walk. The pools were lovely, all of them filled with therapeutic mineral water with different temperatures in every pool. The...

Amazing place. I can highly recommend it for sure ✔️ Great view, fresh air - the hotel is situated on a hill in the middle of a forest. Spa is great - hot thermal water, nice facilities. The rooms are comfortable. Service is excellent. Thank you 😊

Grand Hotel

Velingrad, 50, Saedinenie Blvd 🧭

Spa facilities: SPA, Sauna, Solarium, Massage

Wonderful place! Great staff, nice rooms, clean and large spa areas and big pools. The nearby bowling and billiards make it a perfect place for a family holiday. The live club is a must.

I actually liked the hotel, there's a swimming pool, spa, saunas, fitness, bowling, restaurant, and even a indoor playground for the kids! its up on the hill on velingrad next to olymp spa centre, 4 stars cuz the shower that u can hold is stuck on the second hole after the less-controllable one and the lock on the bathroom is maybe broken.

I had a really pleasant stay at Grand Hotel Velingrad. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The pools and spa facilities are excellent — definitely one of the highlights of the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt organized and professional. The only small downsides were that the AC in my room wasn’t working properly, and one of the lamps...

Actually, this is an advanced 3-star (3, not 5!) hotel, complemented by a large spa complex with several hot-, mild- and cold-spring pools and saunas. Breakfast and dinner are below the most modest expectations. The service is very poor, including receptionists, waiters in restaurant and technicians repairing the room door and safe – they simply don't understand what has to be a 5-star hotel. Wi-Fi...

Mid in general but the cleaning lady was so nice I love her 3rd floor it was the greatest part of the hotel. Interior was good, but our TV didn't work properly.

location really depends. it’s the best in town from all of them hotels if you like a quiet place, but not really close to the centre and other places. pretry great views and all, food is great, i think it can be done better for sure.

Hotel Elbrus SPA & Wellness

Velingrad, Khan Asparuh 116 🧭

Spa facilities: SPA, Sauna, Massage

I recommend Hotel Elbrus Spa !

Everything is was perfect! The staff here is the nicest hotel staff I've ever seen. The fitness is a little dirty but if you are here to relax it's great. It may not be the cleanest and cleanest hotel but it's awesome! Big thumbs up for me👌👌👌.

Excellent amenities, very courteous people, tasty food. We had great relaxing vacation and enjoyed the mineral pools and offered massages. Really recommended hotel and staff

The hotel is 3* and is in a convenient location. The people at the reception and in the restaurant are very kind and helpful. I cannot comment on the rooms and apartments in the "old" part. We were accommodated in the "new" part. The apartment was large, bright and warm. But, cleaning was practically completely absent. On the second day, the ashtray on the terrace was cleaned and that was it for three...

The spa there was one of the best, the main lady was very skilled and polite. We really liked the interior (Stargate themed, for the fans 😉), we spent two days doing procedures and using the facilities. Lots of nice and different saunas, pools and relax rooms. For the spa experience we give full 5 stars. The hotel in general was ok, food was tasty but would have liked more plant based options (being...

The service in the restaurant could be better, but overall not that bad. The hotel has aqua park for the kids and pools and spa area perfect for adults. Scenic view and great for chilling.

Spa Hotel Olymp

Velingrad, 1A Tsar Samuil Str, 4600 Velingrad, Pazardzhik, Bolgariya 🧭

Spa facilities: Solarium, Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

We had a great SPA vacation overall. However, our room was one of the old ones.

Nice and cosy hotel however the pool and the Spa showers are quite dirty which is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are clean and the food is great

While Velingrad hotels are very overpriced this one is an exception. Just book a renovated room and you’ll enjoy it. Most importantly the staff here is extremely nice and caring

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is polite and friendly, the rooms are bigger than usual. The spa is clean and tidy. Food is delicious, the restaurant has nice view.

Just the place I have been dreaming of for vacation with the family. Great food! Awesome pool.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Option for free breakfast and dinner.

Zdravets Spa Hotel

Velingrad, Nikolay Gyaurov Square, 4600 Velingrad, Pazardzhik, Bolgariya 🧭

I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent. I took a facial and massage in the Spa with Mariana she is good in her work. Thanks I had a nice and relaxing time in your place.

Stayed here two weeks ago. Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The parking lot attendant guy even took our luggage to the hotel. The whole spa area was clean and the mineral water temperature was pleasant. Definitely recommending this hotel

We weren't very pleased with the buffet breakfast and dinner. Most of the food was stale. The staff at the spa was not polite and felt like they didn't want to be there. On the positive side, the location of the hotel is perfect, at the center of the town with tourist attractions, restaurants and bars in close proximity. The hotel maids were professional and nice. We also very much enjoyed the indoor...

Nice place with delicious food and warm mineral water pools.

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom...

We stayed there for 2 nights. The Spa looked old. It was annoying that all the sunbeds around the swimming pool were taken and the guests were just leaving their towels there just to book them. Some of the waiters looked lost and quite unhelpful. Once waiters were serving around the swimming pool and the information I was being given from a staff member is that they would serve only these guests, because...

A very nice place to stay but some small maintenance issues should be addressed to make the hotel like it was 4 years ago

Hi,I am from Kosovo 🇽🇰 and I would like to share my experience with you. Personally the service was really good the food was good most importantly the plates and the forks were clean, ther room’s were great they wer clean the sheets were clean and it seemed really nice, my experience in the pool was really good the water was warm and clean personally i would recommend it 100%. Love from Kosovo 🇽🇰❤...

The hotel location is good and has good views. The staff was good and helpful The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't match with a 4 star hotel. It need refreshing. The jacuzzi near the pool looked really dirty and smelled like urine which completely disgusted me and I never went back anywhere near.

The location of the hotel is unique - on top of a hill overlooking a pine forest. The area around it is very nicely landscaped and decorated and the view to the town is fantastic. I visited the pool with my family. The indoor pool was warmer and bigger than the outdoor one. I was not impressed with the level of cleanliness of the pool area. The deck chairs outside needed a bit of a scrub from bird...

Great location in the city center, on the top with great view, very quiet place with a beautiful park outside. Great place to stay with excellent kitchen, SPA and friendly staff.

50/50 food choice, some of it looks not very fresh + there are no free beverages, you have to pay for water and other simple drinks. The rooms are good but very old and this can be easily noticed by the scratches.. needs refreshing Didnt use much service Location is good

Spa Hotel Rich

Velingrad, Tsentar, bul. "Saedinenie" 500 🧭

Spa facilities: Solarium, Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

A nice hotel, but definitely not a 5-star one. The rooms are OK, but they need maintenance. For example in ours the air-conditioning was not working (and it was a really old Midea one), so I had to request a heater (3 times). The toiler was leaking as well, which was a bit annoying (because of the sound it was making), but as long as you keep the door to the bathroom closed - this wasn't a problem...

We only used the restaurant, so I have no clue what the rooms look like. As for the restaurant, food was delicious, it was well above our expectations. The place looks classy, no one minded we had our ski gear on. I gave overall 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The waiter confused and served my daughter's pizza to the table beside us, she had to wait another 30 minutes, I know it happens. 2. The price of...

Maggie was one of the best customer service receptionist that we had met on our tour of Bulgaria.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rich Velingrad. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Special thanks for going above and beyond to make our stay marvelous. Highly recommend!

Hotel Rich in Velingrad offers a luxurious stay with elegant rooms and excellent spa facilities, making it a top choice for relaxation. The staff is attentive and the ambiance is warm, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The on-site restaurant serves delicious local cuisine, enhancing the overall experience.

The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, and treated us with the upmost respect. The SPA center is a bit small, but it’s well maintained and very clean. We were lucky to stay in the hotel whenever it wasn’t very crowded. We couldn’t try the piano bar sadly as didn’t work on weekdays, but the staff gave us a tour of it and it seemed marvellous. The hotel overall is amazing and we would...

Balneo & SPA Hotel Aura

Velingrad, 25 Tsar Ivan Asen Str. , 4600 Velingrad, Bulgaria 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre

So for my birthday, we went to hotel Aura. And bro I ain't gonna lie it's great. And I like it. We got room A2 and I saw this when I went on my room. Not rlly bad. I saw some construction stuff outside. But hey, they might remodel it. And that's it.

Very nice and cozy please. The staff are so sweet and helpful. The services are really good, the buffet style food as well. The pools and outdoor hot pool in a cold winter day feels amazing. Highly recommended!

I was surprised about the infrastructure, physiotherapy was very good and my spouse and appreciate the pools and the views.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Nice place, wonderfull pools, delicious dishes

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. Restaurant had almost no visitors in the afternoon.

Great family hotel at a very good price. It has indoor and outdoor pools for complete relaxation. 500 meters from the iconic lake Kleptuza

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

Dangerous stairs in wet/cold weather. Good hair stylist.

Spa Hotel Kleptuza

Velingrad, 46 Dimitar Blagoev Str 🧭

Spa facilities: Massage, SPA, Sauna, Hammam

It was a really good place to stay in the people were nice and everything was great I recommend it

The good: good location in the old part of town and the spa is just ok, although the sauna had broken benches. The bad: breakfast is horrible just horrible, hotel maintenance is very bad, overall the hotel is dirty, the staff is rude and lacks basic soft skills. Room cleanup during the day was very bad, the bathroom was not touched. During the night, the heating system broke down so we were cold. ...

Big rooms with a terrace. The spa and the pools are great, with a mineral water. 2 indoor pools plus a jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, relax room and a gym, plus outdoor pool. It's a bit far away from the centre, in a peaceful area. We've been here with a 4month old baby and enjoyed it. I recommend it!!

Excellent service for a very accessible price.

The hotel itself is OK, but it is strange to be in a hotel that pretends to be 4* and the sheets on the bed and the towels to be changed once in a week.

A very nice hotel. The restaurant is just OK.

We stayed at the hotel from October 24th to 27th. We had booked the maisonette, which has 3 separate bedrooms and a living room. The maisonette itself is very comfortably made, has everything you need for a pleasant family vacation and is spacious. I will start by saying that the Reception is the place that makes the first impression of the guests, and in this hotel it was not good at all. We were...

The hotel is not yet geared toward international visitors. Information is only available in Bulgarian, whether at the buffet, in the spa, etc. It's a 5-star hotel with a few minor flaws. None of them are so serious individually, but unfortunately, they add up. The landscape is beautiful.

Very nice hotel. We come here for the second time. Nice and clear rooms. Good Spa center. Separation for little children and families came here to relax. Very delicious food -sea food, shrimps, salmon and etc. Will visit soon again.

Hotel is nice, pools really awesome, but the service really lacks behind. The SPA area accepts only cash and never has small change. Then it is the client duty to go and look for small change or he is not allowed to order. With the prices on all products - one would think the POS fee is covered even if I order just a coffee.

I visit every few months as an outside guest mainly to use their spa complex, which is the biggest in Velingrad (I think) I am very pleased with the experience.

Very rude restaurant manager, switch our table without asking us and after telling him we have a problem with that he said he doesn’t care there was also cigaret box left on the new table. This is unacceptable behavior of someone in such a position in a hotel.
