Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable. Good place to relax and enjoy your time off. Usually crowded, but there is room for everyone. The one big disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in that facility. Everything is was perfect! The staff here is the nicest hotel staff I've ever seen.The fitness is a little dirty but if you are here to relax it's great. It may not be the cleanest and cleanest hotel but it's awesome! Big thumbs up for me👌👌👌.

The service in the restaurant could be better, but overall not that bad. The hotel has aqua park for the kids and pools and spa area perfect for adults. Scenic view and great for chilling.

So for my birthday, we went to hotel Aura. And bro I ain't gonna lie it's great. And I like it. We got room A2 and I saw this when I went on my room. Not rlly bad. I saw some construction stuff outside. But hey, they might remodel it. And that's it.

I was surprised about the infrastructure, physiotherapy was very good and my spouse and appreciate the pools and the views.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. Restaurant had almost no visitors in the afternoon.

BH Velingrad is a very peaceful and romantic place. The staff is very friendly and smiling. The rooms are terribly small, those facing the Balkans. The procedures are very messy and you have to keep track of the hours every day, and when you have a bath and then other procedures, it's a lot of running.

It is very nice - service, atmosphere, food, procedures and a clean pool.

I love it! The location is very good, peaceful and quite with amazing view. Rooms are big enough with king size bed and personally our terrace was HUGE. Really great location very close to the city centre. Wonderful hosts and atmosphere. It's a 160 years old house, but it has everything you need for a good holiday. The restaurant is also top! Delicious native bulgarian cousine on a fair price. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this place. Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling. It's GREAT value for the price.

Overall the hotel is nice, we liked the buffet food, the spa is big and has lots of amenities, the room was big and spacious. At lunch time however - we waited more than 30 mins for two SOUPS, one came and the other they told me after all the waiting - had been finished, which left me angry and hungry. I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent. Stayed here two weeks ago. Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The parking lot attendant guy even took our luggage to the hotel. The whole spa area was clean and the mineral water temperature was pleasant. Definitely recommending this hotel

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom...

The hotel location is good and has good views. The staff was good and helpful The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't match with a 4 star hotel. It need refreshing. The jacuzzi near the pool looked really dirty and smelled like urine which completely disgusted me and I never went back anywhere near.

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

Dangerous stairs in wet/cold weather. Good hair stylist.
