Interhotel Beach

Some 30 years ago when the place was built architected to be an awesome hotel - the building design and overall concept was and still is great.

Unfortunately, the place was abandoned since then with little to know maintenance and gradual decline in service quality:

1. The old CRT TV, which was half broken, would only power on if you hit and twist it a bit at the same time. Some programs aren't supported, others are black and white. The shower also got broken while trying to use, but I suppose it will be fixed.

2. The trash can reminded me of my childhood days - we used to have the same trash can in the house where I was born. My sister told me it's still lying around. They don't make these trash cans anymore, but the fact that it still works, means it was not made out of regular plastic. Rubber or some special additives seem to have been used to increase the stability and longevity of these relic. Another relic, I found was an old HP-Compaq PC (pictured), but it no longer works.

3. No WiFi in rooms, only in the lobby are you able to access WiFi. In the past, you could play around with the HP Compaq PC, but it doesn't anymore.

4. People go there for procedures mostly, but my Dad said the lugotherapy machine was broken one day and he couldn't go.

5. The Covid measures, seem to be for economy mostly, not to prevent from Covid. You had to wait on the queue (pictured) to get some food, and the waiters weren't even wearing gloves or masks. They are trying to save money by not letting people pick up food, nothing about Covid protection. And the menu more poorer than ever - mostly eggs and salad.

6. They made us an offer, and when we arrived, they said they had raised the price - we had to escalate to have them honor their proposed price.

Overall, not very pleased service - too bad that such a great place has been abandoned and deteriorated so much. Not sure if I'll visit again.

Very good rooms food was also very nice but there is one big problem there is wifi only in the lobby!
