Spa Hotel Medicus in Vurshets

The Hotel has a lot of potential, beautiful views, and spacious rooms, but is completely inadequately managed. The breakfast was poor and monotonous during our 7 days’ stay. No fruit! The first three days there were only apples, and the next three days nothing. We have been told that they had not been delivered. The restaurant is a disaster, with limited food selection, poor preparation, and poor quality for a four-star hotel! NB It's a well-known fact that the menu has been the same for years!!! The evening menu was also monotonous and many of the dishes were missing. We were served the same side dish every day, grilled vegetables, but dry and tasteless (most probably frozen). Four types of salads were present on the menu list, of which only two were available. After repeated complaints, we managed to get baked potatoes as a side dish, instead of the usual grilled vegetables. The room hasn't been cleaned and the sheets were not changed during the whole week. Our complaints to the waiters and at the reception remained like a voice in the desert. The economy on food and staff they were doing was evident and the disorganization of this restaurant, left a very bad impression on the entire hotel complex as a whole. Too bad unfortunately! The spa was looking beautiful and welcoming, well-equipped too, but the water was NOT a mineral water, but a normal heated water.

This isn't a four star hotel. There are bees everywhere, even in the pool there was a dead one. I couldn't enjoy my breakfast because of them. This whole review wouldn't have been posted if the restaurant wasn't outside

Terrible food. Even the fries are awful and soggy. Crème brûlée costs 7-8 leva but tastes like banana powder. Never again.
