I usually do not like writing bad reviews but...We stayed just yesterday for a night.The interrior is very nice,lovely style but the problems start: 1.We could not have a shower because the shower head was broken(they changed our room same situation in new room)
2.The bathroom door handles were all broken,so you can't close the door
3.Lots of mould
4.Tv did not work had to go at 12am to reception for another controler
5.It is a bit dirty,it is great style but dirty
6.The receptionist charged us extra money to check in early 1 hr prior which happened to me for the 1st time.I mean it is only 1 hr before 2pm...(i know she uses that as a tip but then we expect she knows how to do her job,we asked her about the spa- no answer like she did not know opening hours,and i think if you work at reception you should speak english at least a little bit.)
7.The next day we let the manager know all of this problems, she did not even care so even with a feedback they just don't care and it is not good because hotel is falling apart because of bad managment.Anything like that in Australia would not be acceptable and price is pretty much the same.Great location and hotel they just need to fix stuff and staff.
Breakfast and staff at breakfast were great.Well done to them,young and polite people.

Excellent hotel. I spent some wonderful days there. Some rooms have a balcony.
Personnel very friendly. They do have a Terrace outside where you can drink Coffee for instance.

Wonderful hotel with affordable prices and caring staff. 15 minutes walk from the beach, museums and attractions. It has retro decor. Highly recommended.

This old style hotel has something really special to it that is worth visiting. Rooms very clean and nice, beds for me very comfortable. Wellness area very good and private. Food AMAZING. Staff awesome there to help you out as much as they can, no matter the question and the service that they have during the day simply worth only of a praise. To get to the city center is 5 minutes walk which is also super convinient. Will for sure come back again.

A beautifully restored and renovated classic hotel that is elegant within and without. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished in antique style. The facilities include recreational rooms, plunge pool and there is generally a very pleasant feel to the place with friendly and efficient staff ready to help.
Limited on street parking but well serviced by inexpensive taxis and only a short walk from the centre of Varna.
Downside is staff are not quite competent every time I enter I see them on phones no one working. Room was dirty on arrival and not maintained also it smelled on mould. We were not given coffee even though I asked. I booked the spa activity’s the day before as they need to be preheated. On the day nothing was on and I had to turn it on myself. Staff should pay more attention to detail and cleanliness.

This is the newest jewel in the historical part of Varna, that not many people know is the old Turkish neighborhood called "Talyana" (fishing net). The hotel itself is impeccable in its design, preserving the old facade of the building, while providing all the luxury one can wish for. There is a small spa on premises, where you can relax and have a massage. There are not many rooms, so I suggest to make a reservation earlier. The rooms are big and cozy at the same time. The bed is very comfortable, I slept like a baby. All in all there is no better small hotel in Varna at the moment.

Amazing hotel with great authentic furniture from France and Italy. Staff are very friendly. Even you can go and drink a coffee.

It's kitsch.
But it's really clean, quite, central, reasonable priced and with huge breakfasts.
Reception 24/7 that ideal for late flights. Taxi from airport was only 6 EUR.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful service! The staff proved accommodating beyond all reason and made our brief stay here a pleasure. The bar tender really knows his stuff, including arcane off-menu cocktails and differences in how drinks are served across the Atlantic. Highly recommend for any American traveling through Varna!!
