Hotel Aurora in Saints Constantine and Helena

The staff is very polite and nice, food is quite good and plenty. I don't have any reason to complain, I had a nice time here with my wife and kids.

Maybe there can diversify the cake and add some other ones! Thanks for everything anyway!

Recommended for families, not for young and restless people searching for parries, syreet food etc..
Initially the room was absolutely clean, the air conditioning was functional. We didn't use it too much. What was annoying: the outer unit is on the wal looking to the next neighbour's balcony, so when the other neighbour used the air conditioner, our balcony was noisy and hot. Anyway we entered the room only to sleep, so not a big issue.
The cleaning while staying there wasn't that great. It was annoying a little bit that we took some sand inside on us.
Cannot say anything about the TV: we never turned it on. Our kids wanted to watch some cartoons once, but we used our laptop (i always forget to bring a HDMI cable).
The pools were okayish... For me the water was too cold, but the kids liked it.
The parking place... Not enough at the hotel, but they have a closed terrain nearby, and we parked there. There was a little discomfort as we had to ask for the key when we wanted to go to our cars... But that happened only 2 times in a week. When leaving, i took my car to the entrance of the hotel for packing.
The restaurant... Not a gourmet one, but most of the food was eatable. In fact we ate too much, mostly because always tried to taste multiple kind of foods, and we don't like to leave waste. Me personally felt a strange smell/taste on the green olives, one kind of cheese ant bread what I didn't like, but other's had no issue with them.
Bulgarian beer and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks served almost all day in the restaurant bar. The beer served is "Slavena"... 3.4%. At least we could drink it all day from 11:00 to 22:00 (if we wouldn't go to the beach) without getting drunk and/or sick the next day.
At the pool bar in the afternoon there was also ice cream, kids lived it, and one side if the pool was for kids.
For the kids there was also a nice playground.
The personnel was very strange to me. Working hard, a little bit exhausted, we rarely seen a smile. As we don't like to make waste (nor by using plastic cup, nor washing glasses when not needed) we always had to take care not to empty the glasses, as in 2 minute's someone appeared to take them away.
I didn't like the closest beach, but that's not the fault of the hotel. I wasn't used to an empty beach with almost no services(good drink toilet dusch), only lifeguard. If you walk a litle bit more, you find some services in the payed area, but the food and drink offer isn't too great and most locations are cash only. Anyway bulgarian beer is tasteless and watery, so we bought some good beer in the nearby supermarket, and brang it with us.
Considering the really low price, i can say it worth it, and it might happen to go back next year.
Covid19: the serving personnel wore face masks, there were inscriptions that we arw required to do that, but nobody asked us to do it. This is normal, as we cannot eat nor drink with face masks. The tables were cleaned with some coloured stuff, i don't know if it was disinfectant or not. Didn't really care, all family had covid, and adult's and friends also vaccinated.
