Siem Reap, 7 Makara 🧭 Map
The hotel is tired. It's clear it was beautiful a few years ago—the atmosphere is still there, but the rooms haven't been updated.
Cons: The furniture and windows are old. One room had a very strong moldy smell. The air conditioning didn't work in another.
Pros: The staff did everything they could to ensure our comfort, and they even replaced the smelly room.
A wonderful hotel located close to all entertainment spots. There is a shuttle stop from the airport nearby. Delicious breakfasts and very friendly staff. A clean pool and clean rooms.
The only thing I didn’t like was that on the second floor the water pressure was low, and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Turns out my husband and I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago! It was lovely to relive those memories. This time, we came with our family and stayed in connecting rooms. It was clean and had everything we needed: bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries. The cocktail prices were very reasonable, and we even caught a 'buy two, get one free' offer! It's close to the center; we zipped to the main street on...
The location is a bit out of the way and not easy to find 😁
The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool below. In the morning, opening the curtains revealed a city view. The breakfast was also excellent. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and although there was no elevator, they were willing to make repeated trips to help deliver things.
1. The price of a double room, the superior location/considerate service, it is worth recommending!
2. You can't complain about the breakfast being a 1set set or the hygiene. You can't use the star standard to rate the segment. When you give a bad review, please compare whether your ¥ is proportional!
3. The hotel's additional supporting paid services, such as the price of the chartered car for the...

I will say the room we got was spacious with a window and balcony that invites plenty of natural light in! The room itself and shower especially was spacious but the toilet room is pretty small. WiFi was decent but the Netflix in the tv didn’t work. Walkable to pub street, about 10 mins. Breakfast is à la carte as it’s a smaller hotel but the ladies there are very friendly and the food options are...
We had a great 4 nights stay in this hotel. The room was very well soundproofed and very spacious.
Breakfast was delicious.
Swimming pool was appreciated l but I think they put chemical treatment at night without putting a sign to notify guests…
Food is overpriced, so we never ate at the restaurant.
Location was very good, in a quiet street but only 10 minutes walk from pub street.
Nice hotel, clean, delicious breakfasts. Close to the bar area. I recommend it.
The Siem Reap Palace Hotel & SPA is excellent and offers extraordinary value for money, thanks to its facilities and friendly staff.
The hotel has a great restaurant serving Cambodian and Western cuisine, and its location is excellent, close to the city center.
The hotel's pool and bar are great for relaxing.
Very good. Stayed for 6 more days. . Thumbs up 👍
The room and location is great, and only few staffs were helpful and friendly. Not really satisfied with the receptionists when I checked in, not really giving a welcoming vibe, but the staffs during breakfast were really friendly, enjoyed my stay and the breakfast.

Good service and good food plus excellent environment
I really loved this hotel, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it wasn’t cold enough, even after we asked the staff to fix it and tried changing rooms. Aside from that, everything else was lovely.
I stayed here for 7 nights, and the location is absolutely fantastic – it’s quiet but still close to everything. The main road is just a one-minute walk away, and Pub Street is only a 10-minute stroll. Plus, there's a laundromat right across the street, which is super convenient!
As a breastfeeding mom who needed to frequently store breast milk and transport ice packs during my trip, I must extend...
Very close to the bar street, super convenient for dining and spa. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and at 300 a night during the Chinese New Year, it was really good value for money. Aside from the bar being a bit noisy at night, everything else was great.
Highly recommended, good location, clean and delicious breakfast and the staff very friendly
A good sized room that was clean and the pool area was very relaxing.
The bed was really hard, which the staff then came to provide an additional mattress topper to improve – made it better but was still pretty firm.
There was parking outside with security over night, which was great to park the tuktuk we had rented to drive.
The breakfast was limited compared to other places we stayed on our trip...

Wonderful experience. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean and well appointed, rather like an apartment, with a kitchenette, oven, full sized fridge, seperate living area, tv, large bedroom and ensuite. Internet was reliable. Restaurant had a wide variety of dishes. Breakfast was a range of hot and cold choices. All very fresh and tasty Yes it is a little dated but that is to maintain the...
A lovely large room with separate lounge area. Small kitchenette and washing machine available. Lovely to relax with a cuppa on the small balcony and watch the world go by. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping close by with lovely staff. We'd organised a sunrise tour at Angkor Wat and staff were happy to prepare us a breakfast to take with us as we wouldn't be onsite for breakfast.
Kim is an excellent tour guide who is very knowledgeable of this area. I thoroughly recommend him to those who want to go see Angkor Wat and the other sites in this area.
"I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Cambodia's stunning temples with an incredible guide named Kim! His knowledge was impressive, and his warm personality made our day truly unforgettable. From the ancient architecture to the serene atmosphere, Kim brought it all to life. But what really made our experience stand out was his incredible photography skills - he captured some truly magical moments...
Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed recently, and we travel a lot…The rooms are huge, very confortable, with a washing machine, air con (no noisy at all), wonderful beds…just perfect. The facilities are incredible, the swimming pool too, breakfast and the restaurant service is a 10! But the best is the service, extremely kind. We highly recommend it.
Beautiful colonial style 2 bedrooms apartment with 2 bathrooms, separate kitchen, dinning area and lounge room, balcony with pool view. there is also a washing machine. We love it, it's like your own home, nice and cozy. All staff wer very attentive, helpful and polite. In-house tuk tuk transport, driver and knowledgable guide. I stayed here for half a month, and I found the bed firmness to be just right for Chinese people – neither too soft nor too hard, which was quite comfortable. The only downside was that the lighting was a bit dim. The food was absolutely delicious.
Rambutan is a gem of a hotel! We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. It’s incredibly tranquil, especially the pool with the beautiful plants and trees around it providing a lush tropical vibe. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and well kept. Location is ideal for walking anywhere in town. But most of all, the staff was the star of the show. They were all incredibly helpful and...
Absolutely Brilliant all round.
I was privileged to stay at this beautiful and well-located hotel while in Siem Reap for four nights, the room was very well equipped with everything I needed, room serviced every day, the staff are all very pleasant and accommodating with very good English, complimentary breakfast together with the lunch and dinner menus' just superb. Big shout out to Seyla & Rotath...
We had an amazing stay at Rambutan Resort. It’s a beautiful oasis in the heart of Siem Reap – super central, yet it feels peaceful and removed from the city, like a true private retreat.
Each room is unique and full of thoughtful details, with a strong focus on sustainability. Glass bottles for water are provided and can be refilled, so no plastic bottles are used. The design and style of the resort...
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon in October 2025. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and caring. We arrived late at night via their car transport, and felt warmly welcomed. Very nice place especially the hotel owner very friendly; kind. Staff provide the very warm welcome and supportful. I truely recommended price is very acceptable and affordable.
The hotel is not bad, but there are some quirks. The room is very dark, with little light and a small window, making it feel like we were in the dark all the time. The furniture is old, but otherwise okay. The worst thing was that the shower drain was clogged and no one cleaned it, so water quickly accumulated in the room. You had to quickly wash yourself and turn off the water while you were soaping...
A neat, clean, safe, and quiet hotel. Attentive, English-speaking staff. Good housekeeping, a clean pool, and delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended!
Hotel didn’t look like pictures, breakfast was minimal, no buffet. When I arrived my fridge wasn’t plugged in, no hot water, no tv full stop (apparently government cut off the aerial )! Fridge and hot water was fixed within half an hour …. What the hotel lacked in luxury was made up for by guest services, very very helpful and very friendly , especially the manager and the lady on the front desk
Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Helped move our luggage to our rooms, no complaints. Staff made our stay much more better. The only downside is when the shower was on it flooded the bathroom. Other than that we 100% recommend and would come again all thanks to the staff.
Good breakfast. The place is quite nice in terms of amenities. The downside is the dim lighting, even with lamps.

The room wasn't replenished with daily necessities while tidying up, and the room check in time was 2 PM but was delayed.

Great hotel with amazing staff services, breakfast was great the pool was nice make me feel relax and peaceful stay.
Amazing facilities, superb food and a welcoming staff. I really enjoyed my stay at The Moon Residence & Spa. Next time I will certainly come to Siem Reap and stay at this hotel visit another place likes Kulen Mountain.
Amazing service with attention to every detail. Brilliant location near the city center only 10minutes walk to up street. The staff in the lobby were exceptionally friendly.
I absolutely love this hotel. Gorgeous Hotel, Good location. Fabulous staff with good speaking English and beautifully appointed rooms with balcony and face to the pool.

Feeling fresh at the evening and morning. Nice walking at the beach which close to

Feel good with this hotel, nice breakfast ❤️
Good so far and next to the beach
The location and the foods of the hotel is good. Really like it
We been there for our family vocation, our room js face to pool and the room is fine just some point I don’t like are :
- People come out and drink in front of our room till 1am
- People come to swim pool so early around 5am from swimming
- they don’t have mini bar in the room
Go to stay location is nearest to the beach. I booked on the app the room which is at the ground floor but when I arrived they choose my room on the 1st and 2nd floor.

Nice location off the main street
Our stay at Golden Citadel was amazing. The hotel is about a block off the main road but that just added to the feeling of seclusion, peacefulness, and quiet I felt when I walked through the trees hanging over the entrance. Once through the trees, the first thing you notice is the beautiful pool with its infinity edge on three sides. The staff were very accommodating. The food was amazing, though...
I liked the pool, swimming is my thing. They were making efforts with my food: When I ordered pancakes, they bought exotic fruits to try for my, very kind.
The value for money at this hotel is amazing, if there were a few tweaks I would be happy to pay a lot more.

This is paradise on earth. It's quiet, there are no crowds, and the beach feels like it's all yours. The restaurant serves delicious food, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean and beautiful. You can rent boats and SUPs for free. We also rented a motorbike for $10.
This was our second time in the Secret Garden hotel and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Everything was as great as before and the food was even better. Clean, big, nice house in the beach, white send, great pool, beautiful sunrise and quite relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to all the stuff our stay was unforgettable. Great location, nice rooms, friendly service. Evenings can be a bit noisy (until around midnight) due to music from nearby bars and restaurants, but I didn't find it particularly bothersome.
The hotel is centrally located within Siem Reap.
The hotel's location is excellent, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Pub Street is just a 5-minute walk away. Clean, very cozy, friendly staff. Breakfast is good. There's construction going on, including the top floor, but they let you know about it when you check in.

Ok hotel fairly old fashioned. Door key is a chore to open and close, it's like trying to crack a safe lock combination! Great roof top bar and pool is open till really late. Hotel is just a short walk to all the action yet is quiet inside. Breakfast has freshly made omelettes.
Centrally located across from the Royal Palace the hotel is easy to find and a short walk from the Sesowath Harbor and Giant Ibis Bus station. The room we had was kind of strange.
