Lavanya Boutique Hotel, Phnom Penh1 / 28
8.2
Phnom Penh, #21, St. 49 Corner St.136, Phsar Thmey 🧭 Map
This is a great hotel. There is limited car parking, but it did not seem to be a problem. The staff were good. I had an issue with a water leak in the room. They switched me to a new room, no problems. The corner rooms are a little hot in the afternoons, but the AC was good and kept up. I will stay here again.
Had an issue with the A/C air con so they moved me into another room. The room is spacious, clean and modern. However, the noise from outside is clearly very audible in the room. So loud that at time, you thought you were sleeping outside. It really was that bad. So get a room that is not city view. If it had been quieter, i would have given this hotel a better rating.
Toilets could not take toilet paper. We are supposed to put used toilet paper in the waste bin, but there were no notices telling us that. Also, the waste bin is not lined with plastic bag, so we are supposed to put dirty toilet paper in a bare bin, that is a little gross. My toilet got blocked after half a day, and I couldn’t use it anymore. The best part of the room is that the bed is very comfortable
Great location. After my stay, I was able to leave my belongings in a safe place. There is an elevator, so there were no problems with luggage. There is a coffee shop on the first floor. There are also brochures and advertisements for tourist routes. This is a great hotel for tourists.
Lavaya Boutique Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of major attractions, and tuk-tuks are readily available. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. However, the bathroom facilities felt a bit dated and are in need of an upgrade. Overall, it offers great value for...

I had a decent stay here recently for a work trip. What really stands out to me is the breakfast—high quality and half a dozen made to order options. The staff are also overly nice. I was voluntarily upgraded to a family room, even through I was by myself. It felt like, well, a room a lot of children had spent time in—a little worn. The room didn’t look like any of the rooms I saw while booking. Also...
This place does Boutique well. Staff is well trained and are very friendly. Clean, well decorated and spacious rooms. Great water pressure, ac and fast WiFi. The plunge pool is a welcome reprieve after a hot day. The bartender and drinks are as solid as the breakfast they provide. Only gripe is that the beds could be a bit more comfortable but overall we loved our stay here.
Located in centre of city this little gem is a perfect place to stay. Staff where very friendly room was good size with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Would recommend as easy access to all attractions. Have NO complaints.
Rooms were large and clean. Comfortable beds. Staff speak good english. Small swimming pool adjacent to reception. Staff helpful in arranging transportation and tours. Breakfast was good with actual bacon which has been a rarity. Real coffee. Restaurant prices high by Cambodian standards. Location near to central market and national museum but you may want to take a tuk tuk as the sidewalks...
Spacious room with neat decoration. Nice shower room, excellent location. The swimming pool and poolside are lovely, but relatively tiny.
Great service by the friendly staffs. Clean and comfortable rooms. Two thumbs up :)

Very friendly staff, big room and a nice and cool swimmingpool!
We had a very pleasant stay at Indra Porak Residence Hotel. It's actually tucked within Pshar Krom (Market Below, literally, as there is a big market called Pshar Leu, Market Above along the national road, where the minivan stations are), while some may not like it, but it's nice to see the very local and residential side of Siem Reap as opposed to seeing it only as a tourist attraction. The room is...

The room is spacious, with cool AC
I wish I could give a better review since the people that work here are so incredibly nice and couldn’t do enough for you, however… there is a lot to be desired here and this is certainly not a 5 star hotel. Amenities: no cafe or restaurant on site. No phones in the rooms to contact the front desk. No hand towels, very little soap or toiletries provided. AC in the room required blasting for 24 hours...
10/10 experience! I’m a backpacker and I booked this hotel to take a break from hostel life, it’s such a nice establishment at a very affordable price. Super quiet and beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They let me check out at 2pm instead of noon, and were always ready to help out with anything :) Highly recommend!
Love this pretty hotel in a great location in Siem Reap! We are in a second floor balcony room overlooking the pool. AC is strong! Bed comfortable, plenty of room, closet with plenty of hangars and spacious and clean shower room and toilet room. Swimming pool is crystal clean and it’s a very tranquil and calm environment, highly recommended! Staff is charming and kind.
Rooms lovely and clean but the balcony was in the shade, sofa was really uncomfortable. Photos looked better than in real life. Pool area is very shaded if you're looking for a tan, not great. Location is ideal if you want to be near the bars and restaurants but not in the thick of it on a night time when you want to sleep Staff are super friendly & helpful.
I had a wonderful 2-night stay at this hotel. The service was outstanding staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The room was fresh, clean, and beautifully maintained, making my stay very comfortable. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and I truly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a pleasant stay!

Amazing environment. Feel like you step into the movie. Everything is about details. Like in some Khmer castle.
Location a bit far from the center, but everything else is great. Very quiet due to low room count. Feels cozy. Helped us rent scooters as well
Nice place, a bit further from downtown. Clean rooms nice bathrooms. Liked it
It’s a very good place to stay in Siem Reap
Friendly Great environment Luxury
The reception is well English communicate, always put her friendly big smile and willing to help. The location is good, a little far from downtown but close to the way on Angkor wat. The room is big and hot water in the tub is hot enough, I assume they already improve the problem that most travelers complained abt. Highly recommended if you want a nice experience with staying in Siem Reap!

We had a delightful five-night stay at this place. It’s ideally situated between the magnificent temples like Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, as well as the bustling city of Siem Reap, offering a plethora of food and shopping options. If you’re headed to Siem Reap, this is the place to stay! Perfectly situated between downtown and Angkor Wat, this hotel offers the best of both worlds—easy access to the sights and a peaceful retreat. We had a great stay at Ra-ta boutique hotel. It’s close to Ankor Wat and we enjoyed the pool after a long day in the sun. I stayed for almost 1 month in this incredible hotel. Denis, the owner, is really friendly and always took good care of me. The room is big and comfortable, and the big swimming pool is also amazing! Absolutely 5 stars for sure. I never missed this Boutique when I go to Siem Reap. Room is clean, service is very nice. Even the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious. I don’t see why I shouldn’t give a 5 stars 🤩👏🏻
The staff of this hotel is simply amazing. I've travelled a lot in Asia and these people are one of the best I have encountered. What can be improved - breakfast; would be great to have smart tv in the room instead of satellite; no safebox in the room. Location is very good. Generally, a good place for quiet vacation.
Really enjoyed our time at Diamond D’Angkor. We spent a week here and organised all our tours through the front desk too. The staff were the highlight, always friendly and happy to help. Very nice place, clean and comfortable, but the very best thing about this was the -great staff-. All of them were incredibly nice and supportive, they allowed to check out a bit later so we could go walk around and keep our bags at reception before we had to take out bus that night. They also offer breakfast for $5, but we didn't get it because we woke up too late, which means they have comfy beds...
I am giving 5 stars only because there are no more to give. This boutique hotel has won us over. The location is fantastic and so are the rooms and the facilities. The hotel in itself is so picturesque. But what stands out, is the staff. Both the receptionists are extremely helpful, going above and beyond to help the guests. A perfect stay in Siem Reap area. A very comfortable, clean, welcoming mini-resort in a quite rural area for an original and traditional experience away from the crowds of Angkor. Located on the outskirts of Siem Reap main town and 10 mins tuktuk ride into the centre, this lovely little hotel has wonderful and spacious bungalow accommodation surrounding a swimming pool. The staff were very helpful and lovely. The food, although a little limited, was tasty and freshly cooked. An ideal location from which to explore the town and temples. One thing we liked was the tranquil atmosphere...
Can't say enough about this place. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, even waiting late to cook for us when we returned late from excursions. The food was excellent! The resort is in good shape for the area. Only downside was the Buddhist chanting or dance music that played from a loudspeaker a short distance away in the village. It was almost constant....
Little paradise in Siem Reap. After a day full of activities and touring, returning to our beautiful bungalow felt like falling in a soft pillow. Location didn't matter to us, taking a 10 minutes Tuktuk ride to the center was part of the fun. The staff is unbelievable friendly and caring. Definitely a place to recommend and come back.
Full disclosure: did not stay here as a guest. However I did take a cooking class here and got a tour of the premises. It’s ok for a quick stop everything is there but could do with changing carpet and cleaning more everywhere sauna and steam room area needs a good clean also. But the staff are very nice people and will try to help you.
Room is acceptable for the price. Room a bit old. Elevator very slow. Reception staff is friendly.
The rooms need maintenance. The area is good. The prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and reliable.
Fine option if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. The hotel is rather old, although everything worked in the room. Jacuzzi and gym aren’t possible to use, unfortunately. It just doesn’t work for a long time clearly.

For the price this is well set out. Nice pool, ordinary restaurant, big rooms. Front office and cleaning Some criticisms: 1. Lovely hotel , nice rooms and pool. Friendly staff. Needs to improve availability of service to poolside, menus should be available by pool and staff on hand. Lemongrass candles in rooms only put on arrival, should be refreshed daily when cleaners come to service rooms, as this makes the ambience of the room more relaxing and welcoming. I'd give it 5 stars if these small improvements were added.
A great resort where we've really enjoyed our holiday here. For westerners expect a 3* PLUS resort (e.g. Best Western) with kid friendly facilities for youth hostel prices. Very good value. The room was nice and clean the whole hotel was clean. The bathroom could have used a mat and a shower curtain cause the whole bathroom got wet when you took a shower. Breakfast is a good spread for 3 dollars extra, per person.
Comfortable and very clean but subject to some annoying corridor noise from bus tour guests who roam from room to room shouting at each other.
