Sla Boutique Hostel in Phnom Penh

This place deserves 5 stars because of the helpful friendly staff, and friendly atmosphere in the common area. We were waiting on visas and had to book an extra night 2 nights in a row and they were so accommodating. The beds are super comfy. Cheap tasty food for breakfast and dinner available.
There are a few things that could be better like the bed curtains closing fully and the power/hear of the shower but overall its great value! Thumbs up from Chewy!

Nice, clean hostel in Phnom Penh. Close to cafes, restaurants and pubs. It is also walking distance to the Royal Palace. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They speak English too. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, with lockers provided. Towels are not included in your stay so you need to pay 1USD, which is reasonable. Breakfast is available in the hostel too. We were picked up by our bus going to HCMC from the hostel as well. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay while in Phnom Penh, look no further.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was delicious and you can choose what to order.. I liked the homemade yogurt with muesli and fresh fruit. Lunch and dinner are also available to order until 8pm. You do have to pay for breakfast, but it is reasonably priced for what you get (see menu photo) Coffee, tea, and water refills are free.
The beds and sheets were really comfortable with privacy curtains and good A/C (we stayed in the 8 person all female dorm). There was only one bathroom/toilet for our dorm of 8, but if needed you can use the bathroom in the common area downstairs. You do have to pay $1 for a towel.
The common area was quite social, but not a loud party at all. The staff was really friendly and organized a little get together in the evenings at 6pm... one night was a cooking class, another was tea and coconut waffles, and the last one beer for everyone (all free!) The staff also helps book some sight seeing activities and transportation to wherever you need to go.

Also, a side note about Phnom Pehn for backpackers... the common attitude was that no more than 3 nights was needed. Many people will tell tourists to keep your phone out of sight when you are walking around the city and your bag close to your body. The city has a lot of trash in the streets/bad smells, but this hostel was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in and one of the best parts of our visit to Phnom Penh. Highly recommend!

It is good hostel. The environment is very good and also clean. Staff is good , helpful and friendly. There is kitchen if we are interested to cook then we can cook ourself and eat whatever we want if we are not interested then we can order through menu to eat. staff will prepare and provide us. And I stayed 3 nights. One night in 10 beds dorm.. It has only one toilet and one bathroom. And another 2 days i stayed in 6 beds dorm. It has one toilet and one bathroom. And staff is cleaning bathroom and toilets everyday and also changing the bed covers. So i highly recommend this hostel for stay.

Having stayed in quite a few hostels in South East Asia this was one of the best. It is possible here to share a double bed in a dorm room which keeps the price down. I was a bit concerned that this might be weird but not at all. Quiet and a great pace to chill out. They also do cooking classes on some days of the week which we enjoyed. Only negative as it is not the most social hostel which is often the case for the nicer hostels but the cooking class helped. To top it off breakfast was good and a reasonable price. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area.
