Great location, gorgeous river views. On weekends, the pedestrian walkway gets closed, and it's very crowded, very noisy. There are small ants running around in the living room, which is not very pleasant. The refrigerator was very cold, but there's no temperature control, and it froze our fruits and vegetables. The staff is very friendly and polite, willing to help. Overall, we liked the place for the price. I'm only mentioning the negatives so you'll be prepared for them, and maybe they'll fix them.

Asiban Quay Boutique Hotel was difficult to find, because the facade/entrance to the hotel was blocked by street vendors. (The Sisowath Street is closed for traffic on Saturday and Sunday evenings). Furthermore the hotel is very narrow, hence difficult to detect. I asked the neighbours and nobody knew of the hotel. Eventually I found it and had to “twist” myself in-between the street vendors to get access to the hotel and to the reception, which looked like a kitchen to me. The hotel has no elevator. I was checked in and was escorted to my surprisingly big room with the best bed (very hard) I have ever slept in. Numerous local and international TV channels. Bathroom was equally large, although very few amenities. The bar of soap was so small, that I instead used shampoo as body soap when showering. No hot water. The room was facing the street / river and extremely noisy. The noise lasted until close to midnight, when vendors closed their shops. The noise started again at around 05:00 in the morning, when morning traffic started and the street was open to traffic. Although it was a deluxe room, I felt the price for the room was excessive compared to other hotels. I returned to Phnom Penh a few days later and found much better value for money hotels only 15 minutes walk towards the night market.

A hotel with good value for money. Highly recommended. I booked it for just one night without much expectation, but I liked it so much that I stayed three more nights. The best thing is the riverside view room. Don't save money and choose a riverside view room. The only downside is that the wifi speed is sometimes slow, but other than that, it's the best value for money hotel.

I am Japanese and stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days on a solo trip. This hotel has the best cost performance.
The room is a large room with a balcony on the second floor, and it has a king bed, refrigerator, cooler, shower, toilet and sink. However, there is no wifi.
The facilities are old, but clean. There is no washing machine in the hotel, but there is a coin laundry on the road behind it, which was convenient. Washing + drying (20 minutes) for $5, detergent is automatically added so it has a local scent.
The staff are also very friendly.
The area around the hotel has a view of the Tonle Sap River right in front of you, and the riverside park is well-maintained and very beautiful. There is a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, and a complex building with Marugame Seimen, Starbucks, pizza, donut shops, bars, etc. has also been completed. (Not reflected on Google Maps as of July 2023), the view from the rooftop bar of this building is amazing. Even enjoying beer and pasta was about $15.
In the temple nearby, there is a memorial for Atsuhito Nakata, a UN Volunteer election official who was killed in 1993, and journalist Yukiki Ishiyama. It is also famous among some as a cat temple, so if you want to meet cats, please come.
The bad thing is that there is a big road in front of it, so the horns and engine noises are loud, and you can hear music and karaoke from the building next door.
Overall, it is the best value for money, including the first street, price, location, cleanliness, etc. I would like to stay here again when I go to Phnom Phan alone.

Hotel is infront of riverside. Just need to cross the road.

Issue is they don't have any elevators at all. Literally leg day. The room is okay-ish but could be better. Got a wear and tear situation however water pressure is good and A/C is good. If you're not picky with the stairs this place is good. They also offer rooms with balcony and the view is the riverside but overall good hotel for a pitstop only in PP.
