have been staying here since February 5, 2026. At first, the staff were friendly and polite. I even gave tips to housekeeping to keep my room clean because I really appreciated their service. However, I was disappointed when I came back to my room and found that it had not been made up. The room was still dirty, and even the bed was not properly fixed.After being tired from being outside all day, you expect to return to a room that smells fresh and feels comfortable. The lobby looks nice, but the cleanliness of the room does not match that first impression.The air conditioner is also a big problem. It is very hot inside the room. I already asked the staff several times to check and fix it. They always say “yes,” but no one ever comes to repair it. That is very disappointing.I booked this hotel until February 17, 2026, because my boyfriend does not want to transfer to another hotel, so we decided to stay. Honestly, from now on, I don’t feel like giving tips anymore because the service is not consistent.I would only recommend this hotel for its location. But when it comes to cleanliness, room maintenance, and proper housekeeping service, it really needs improvement.

Disappointed that I have to write this review. I had a 2 week stay at this location as I was waiting for Visa approval. Location is close to Bassac street and a small market. Rooms are basic, don’t include a smart TV and you can hear street noise easily, but the premium room does include a balcony.

The reason for my low star rating is, I used their towel to wipe down their FILTHY balcony chair and upon check out they charged me $15 for the towel…. I noticed staff about the dirty chair and said I would clean it, not sure if it was a language discrepancy or something, but being shading charged $15 for cleaning their disgusting chair left me with a very negative view of this property.

I stayed at the Moon Bassik Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Overall, I really liked the hotel's location – it’s convenient, right in the city center, with everything nearby. The street is not too noisy, so it was quiet in the rooms. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, though not brand-new. Still, for the price, I think the value is very fair – I’d rate it 4+ out of 5. The staff was very friendly, cleaning was done on time, and everything was tidy and neat. I was satisfied with my

The hotel's location is not far from the heart of Phnom Penh. You can see famous Cambodian monuments just by walking, and there are several temples nearby. There are many Cambodian food shops that you can enjoy near this hotel. If you want to relax for a moment in the evening , just go downstairs there is a coffee shop and several alcoholic drinks.
