Montreal, 355 Saint-Jacques Street, Ville-Marie (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
From the time we arrived and checked in, to the Concierge's guidance on local caterers, directions and recommendations to a liquor store and directions to the metro. It was a memorable stay and we'll definitely be back
This is such a beautiful Hotel. We made a last minute reservation because we were accepted to Diner en Blanc in Montreal. The staff was really incredible
The hotel has visited by many A-list people over the years, and I loved the restaurant as a place to impress visitors
A beautiful hotel great service and people are friendly and helpful . We loved our stay at st.james
Very nice hotel in the heart of old Port in Montreal. Very clean and attentive service. Not extremely quiet inside the rooms. You can hear the cars from outside , especially if the exhaust is a bit loud
I was on the last floor and I could still hear the cars passing by in the middle of the night if I was awake. The bar inside the hotel is ok
Montreal, 5225 Côte-des-Neiges (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Great place to stay in a great neighborhood. Rooms were clean and spacious, the suite was excellent overlooking the street. The bedroom was in the back away from the street so the noise did not bother us
We had a wonderful stay here tonight with our two sons. The hotel is very quiet, and the sound insulation is excellent, which made the night very peaceful
Breakfast is not provided but there is a little cafeteria off the main lobby where one may buy fresh croissants, coffee , hot chocolate and chocolates! Then right next door is an amazing bakery with restaurant selling the most delicious fare
even three bigger knives with one being a bread knife. of course!! The bath with shower had a safety bar which along with the general layout made this a most accessible room. I slept so well in my huge king size bed
I stayed here recently for three nights for a family gathering, had booked a two bedroom suite. Stay was overall very pleasant. Our suite was clean and spacious, with windows that opened and a small balcony
The receptionist carried my bags up for me) I walk with two canes and the help was graciously offered. My room had a little kitchenette with a kettle, toaster , keurig machine and real china and cutlery
Montreal, 1110, Sherbrooke Street West (in the centre) 🧭 Map
BUT, when we arrived we were greeted pleasantly by the valet staff, and front desk staff was excellent as well. Very spacious and even have kitchenettes (shown in pictures from both rooms) which was so very nice to have
This came in handy on nights where we stayed in and heated leftovers. While we didn’t dine in the in-house restaurant in the mezzanine, it must be good because it was always packed
The location was convenient, next to a Metro station and a bus stop, and we felt safe in this district. The area is mostly business buildings and other hotels and we felt secure enough to walk in the evenings
Compared to hotels in other metropolitan cities, the prices were very reasonable. We opted for a junior suite and it included a kitchenette with utensils, oven, full-size fridge, and microwave
I was surprised the duvets were sandwiched between two sheets instead of inside a cover, but the beds and pillows were super cozy, and clean. No stains or tears everything looked and felt new
We stayed four nights at Hotel Le Cantlie and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff of this hotel were accommodating and friendly
Montreal, 1193, Place Phillips (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We swam in the pool - it was warm thankfully and there were lot of towels available. Everything throughout the hotel was clean and in good repair. If we return to Montreal we will definitely stay here again
The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, a variety of breads and the coffee was good. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful
The location is fantastic, very close to shopping, underground access, the place des arts, and walkable distance to old montreal. The staff were kind and the valet parking worked well
I booked early and saw that the King Studio was priced for $20 less a few days before our arrival. I mentioned this at check in and we were upgraded to a King Loft Suite (1200 sq ft)
The room had a full kitchen, living room and large bedroom area. It was perfect for our 5 day stay. The bed was very comfortable and the heating worked well
Le Square Philips has an interesting combination of huge rooms with relatively barebones decor that make it a comfortable though utilitarian place to stay
Montreal, 208 Saint Antoine Ouest (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Stayed here in mid February 2026 for three nights. We were a group of 11 people and were given the new upgraded rooms. They were the best!! We were 3 people in my room and I was the first to use the pullout
The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, offering a solid variety of hot options like eggs, meats, and potatoes, not just a basic continental spread. It definitely set a good tone for the day
The room is so clean and spaciouse it is only 4 to 5 minutes walk going to notre dame. Best choice with children the breakfast is good too
The evening reception was another highlight the happy hour drinks were excellent, with a great selection and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day
The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Old Montreal and nearby attractions without any hassle. The suite-style rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a full day out
If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the hotel can get a bit busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast time, but that’s expected given its popularity. Also the parking was a bit pricey
Montreal, 3485 Avenue du Parc (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is the best hotel in Montréal by far. Location is close to everything and supermarket next door. Most of the room are suite with kitchen, full size fridge. Very warm welcome by the owner
We spent a week at this wonderful hotel and will definitely choose it again next time! Excellent conditions, clean (the room was cleaned and towels were changed every day!)
I must also mention the hotel's excellent location and the very attentive and pleasant owner, who welcomed us as his guests!
The hotel owner was really kind, and the room condition was excellent
Turguay was very attentive and helpful in ensuring that we would be able to get into the hotel even though our train was very late; the room was perfect; and the hotel was centrally located
It was close to all amenities, and having a kitchen was a great plus! However, please note that there is no elevator, so it might be difficult for travelers with heavy luggage
Great location and good to have laundry room but points taken off for terrible wifi (non-existent), smelly elevator and non punctual service
The facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is good. The croissants and dried apricots for breakfast are delicious
Had a great time here, rooms were clean and quiet and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen in the room. Not so sure about the way they make the beds but I guess it’s cultural… I would surely be back
FACILITIES ARE A LITTLE OLD BUT ACCEPTABLE IF NOT TO FUSSY. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND HAD A GOOD VARIETY OF SELECTION. QUIET LOCATION TO SLEEP WHEN TRUCK GARBAGE COLLECTION IS NOT ACCOMPLISH DEPENDING WHERE YOUR ROOM IS
4 stars over the lack of gym/fitness facilities
Location was good, and (paid) parking facility at hotel was convenient
Montreal, 2115 Rue Saint-Urbain, H2X 2N1 Montreal, Canada (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The walls and doors are somewhat thin, so you can hear noise from outside, but considering the price, it is absolutely worth it. Overall, excellent value for money, 10 out of 10
The location is convenient, and the hotel offers coffee, hot chocolate, and water 24 hours a day, which is a great plus. The breakfast is also very good and well prepared
Everything was very good during my stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the front desk staff are all extremely attentive and helpful
Impeccably clean, blissfully cold air conditioning, comfortable beds, facilities to cook (microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, oven). Christina was warm and welcoming and helpful. They did NOT profiteer off the strike
Wonderful stay for our second time. Christina met us and ensured all was to our satisfaction. Great service!! Fabulous location, impeccably clean with comfortable bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Will return!!
This is a great place to stay for a family. It's centrally located but quiet. Our apartment had both a balcony and a rooftop terrace. There was tonnes of room, and the furniture and decor was tasteful
Montreal, 1279 rue Montcalm (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Very quaint bnb in the heart of the village a private oasis full of beautiful plants. Very convenient to metro. Owners are lovely and breakfast was very good.
Location is amazing! You are close to two subway stations and walking distance to almost everything! The hosts are so nice and friendly, they make the incredible breakfast! Room was a little tiny but we loved! Clean and beautiful! Sometimes you feel a little worried about the neighborhood as you may find a lot of crazy people walking but we didn't have any problems! After all, we came from NYC
This was my first time staying at a B&B. I was very impressed with this bed and breakfast, the location and also with my host Nicolas and Phillipe. When back in Montreal will definitely return here.
Great room, superb staff, and amazing breakfast!
The cottage I rented was so close to the lively atmosphere of the village - restaurants, bars etc yet it was quiet at night - what a beatiful apartment too - so cute , clean and modern
My friends that are local want to use this for their out of town guests in future
Would highly recommend !
Great Place to Stay
Great place to stay in the Village.
Lovely room with privste bath. Great location right near main street and Metro stop. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly hosts.
Would return.

The staff provided good customer service throughout my stay and were especially accommodating — even keeping my luggage safe after check-out, which was greatly appreciated
It was very okay.. although the rug is the rooms.are really old. Good location and the staffs are very friendly.
Breakfast was good with a nice selection and the location is great for the airport bus, old town and downtown. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully when it's a bit warmer 🥶
If you don’t know what a luxurious room looks and feels like, you will complain about this place because you have nothing to compare it to. If you stayed here by choice and not because you had to, you will complain
Again, you couldn’t do better. This place might be cleaner than the houses of most who say it’s dirty, stay home then. I'm writing this review because you who wrote the bad reviews made it hard for me to choose
This hotel was a nice experience. I was expecting to feel pain from sleeping on the bed, nope, not this one. This is obviously not your typical hotel room; it’s more like a condo setting, very spacious
