Stayed here in mid February 2026 for three nights. We were a group of 11 people and were given the new upgraded rooms. They were the best!! We were 3 people in my room and I was the first to use the pullout. It was surprisingly so comfortable. My other friends each used the super comfy double beds. The kitchenette was well appointed and the bathroom was huge. The room was so spacious. Front desk staff, Maka and Mathieu, were always so polite and friendly. The free breakfast was not just cold food -you could ask for custom-made omelettes or pancakes. So much variety of food choices. Happy hour was also one of the best that I’ve seen anywhere. Service throughout was top notch. Location could not be beat. Definitely would stay here again

Fantastic hotel - great location, clean and spacious rooms, easy check-in and convenient on-site parking with in and out privileges. Enjoyed a complimentary drink upon arrival and a smooth check-in experience. Slight miscommunication from the front desk on the operating hours of the breakfast on a Monday morning (we were told it was open until 10:30, it was actually open until 9:30). However, the restaurant staff were accommodating to us despite our arrival around 9:40. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal from April 3–5, 2026 was an overall very positive experience.

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Old Montreal and nearby attractions without any hassle. The suite-style rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a full day out. I especially appreciated the separate living area, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy.

The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, offering a solid variety of hot options like eggs, meats, and potatoes, not just a basic continental spread. It definitely set a good tone for the day. The evening reception was another highlight the happy hour drinks were excellent, with a great selection and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day.

Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. Staff were helpful, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.

If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the hotel can get a bit busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast time, but that’s expected given its popularity.

Also the parking was a bit pricey .

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, business travelers, or anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Montreal. I would gladly stay here again.

The room is so clean and spaciouse it is only 4 to 5 minutes walk going to notre dame. Best choice with children the breakfast is good too

The Restaurant is ... Strange.

To start, it unfortunately took about 30 minutes to check in. There were 3 groups ahead of us and only one person at the desk.

The rooms are nice, though need some work and more furniture. The bathroom has stained shower curtains, some of the bedding was stained, there was only one side table next to the bed, and only one dining chair.

The worst part for us was the restaurant. You are given breakfast tickets and drink tickets upon check in. Entering the restaurant there is no service; no one to seat you, no menus. It's more of a free-for-all than a restaurant. We used our drink tickets the first night. When presenting them to the older gentleman we got an eye roll. He told us there was no menu and he could only make simple drinks. We were not offered a food menu or anything else. The drinks were great! But the service was terrible.

At breakfast we had no idea how things worked. The breakfast tickets say to redeem for a made-to-order breakfast but we were greeted by a buffet. The buffet was fine, but again no menu or any indication of if we are supposed to seat ourselves or how anything worked. We saw some people with pancakes and omelettes that apparently you can order directly from the one chef. No servers. The whole experience was truly strange.

Overall, the location is great, the rooms are decent but need work, the hotel staff are responsive, and the restaurant is just bad.

A true 10/10 experience. When we arrived, we had been upgraded to a renovated king suite for free. Besides access to a free breakfast that featured made to order omelets, and they also gave us vouchers for two free drinks per person, per day (to be used between 5-7). Despite a two drink limit per day, they were pretty liberal about that rule. The location is quiet and safe despite being across from the Palais de congrès, and Old Port is only about a 10 minute walk. Lastly , we only paid about $160 per night which I found to be an exceptional deal, especially considering that most other hotels offer a room with less than 250 sqft (all rooms are suites with kitchenettes, and a separate living space). Thanks for the stay!

very impressed with this hotel. I come to Montreal often for work and usually stay in different hotels for two or three nights, and this one really stands out.

The room is huge even though it’s a single. It’s very comfortable and beautifully set up, with a full kitchen, a living room space, and a very spacious bathroom. I’m really enjoying staying in the room right now, it truly feels more like a small apartment than a typical hotel room.

The hotel itself feels lively and welcoming. I checked in after work around 6 or 7 p.m. and it’s busy in a good way. The atmosphere is great and the reception staff are very kind and welcoming. I also just had dinner at the restaurant and the server is so sweet.

Overall, I’m having a great experience and I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I’m in Montreal for work.

We stayed here with our family as part of a children’s sports team — kids and parents together — and had an amazing experience.

The location is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the service is on a very high level.
A special thank you to the reception team — they solve any question instantly, always helpful and professional.

Huge respect to the bar and the entire staff — truly top-tier service from everyone.
The cleanliness deserves a separate mention: everything was absolutely spotless, wow.

We even traveled with our cat, and the hotel is pet-friendly, which made the stay even more comfortable for us.

If you’re going to Montreal — this hotel is a must. We would definitely stay here again.

My own personal experience was garbage... I had alot of hair in my food I asked to have it looked over and the chef refused and said I was being rude..

We had a great time. My bavette steak was excellent and everyone else loved their meals as well. Service was perfect and the frites were fantastic (they keep bringing you more for free). Bringing our own wine was a great idea and brought the bill down ridiculously low. We all will be coming back here.

Great place. Service was excellent, prices were fair, and the food was great.
20.10.2017 Krupali
The food was extremely good. Great service as well! The only thing I found off was the atmosphere. There wasn't enough lights except at the table where you have your meal. I would still recommend this place. You will understand about the atmosphere when you go there on an evening.

Great food, sat at the bar and had really great cocktails with stellar service from the bartender.

Excellent cocktails and tasty selections for the charcuterie board. Highly suggest the Barcelona cocktail.
25.11.2017 Silvia
Great place for dinner, the cocktails were great, wine from the tap was not so good--rather go for a bottle--, for dinner we got an enormous and tasty cheese platter for $ 25. Super friendly and helpful service. Nice atmosphere and great music!!! We loved it!
21.11.2017 Stamatis
I would not suggest for dinner. Tapas style is very overpriced. 8 dollars for a single empanada and 15 dollars for 6 chicken wings. The food was good, the sangria was better. Service was also very good but my group and I agreed we likely wouldn't return and give repeat business. you can find much better value elsewhere.

Was here for a work gathering. The place was beutiful inside the staff were very nice. Really awesome place to hang out
